I'll Paint You Wings, and I'll Set You Free

“I’m ready to tell you everything.”

Jack collapsed next to Faida after pulling out. Heavy breathing was the only thing heard in the room. A smile went across Jack’s face. That was the best they had ever had. It was probably because this time he wasn’t tied up or just laying there as she had her way with him. Although, he was pretty sure that it was because of another reason. Hell, he couldn’t even classify this time with all the others because this time they didn’t have sex. They made love. Every single move had been filled with emotion and meaning.
Jack turned to his side to look at his love. He wasn’t expecting for her to have the facial expression that was currently on her face. Faida looked like she was thinking hard. Her eyebrows were scrunched up, and her mouth was not up like Jack’s was before he turned to her. Jack hoped that she didn’t change her mind about loving him or said that she loved him because he did. He cautiously put his hand on her arm. She didn’t move. His hand made it’s way to her cheek and rubbed it lightly.
Faida’s mouth finally opened. What was she going to say? Was she going to tell him to get away from her? Did she really not love him? Was everything going to go back to the way it was?
“I’m ready.”
Jack had no idea what that meant. “Ready for what?”
“I’m ready to tell you everything.” Jack’s eyes widened. He had almost thought that the day would never come. “I-I-I’m a half angel.”
“You’re what?” Yeah, he believed that Alvah was a demon, but he never even thought that she was half angel. That had never even crossed his mind. How did that even work, and how did she know Alvah?
“I was just a baby when everything happened. It took many years before I was told what happened. There was this demon that wasn’t as mean as everyone else and was my friend, and I think he had a crush on me. Anyway, one day, I go curious about why I was with them even though I was no demon. I went up to him and asked.” She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “This is my story...”
There once was a queen that was deeply depressed. She had been forced into an arranged marriage with a man that she actually hated. She did everything she could in order to stay out of his sight. Eventually the only place that seemed safe was the little creek outside the palace. The queen was sneek out with art supplies so that she could draw and also relax.
One day, she heard a sound coming from the other side of the creek. From instinct, she hid behind a tree. That was when she remembered that she was the queen. She could tell them not to hurt her, or perhaps she wanted them to. Perhaps she wanted to die, so she wouldn’t have to live this life and have children with the disgusting pig that she was forced to call a husband.
The queen stepped out from behind the tree and aw the most beautiful creature that she had ever laid eyes on. His hair was the exact opposite of her jet black hair, and his eyes were the opposite as well. His eyes were a dark brown color. She would have thought they were black if it wasn’t for the fact that they looked brown when the light were shining in them. He was wearing all white, just like his hair, and had these beautiful dove-like wings.
“Hello my lady,” he said as he walked up to her and bowed slightly. “I’m so sorry for scary you. It’s just that your drawings are amazing and you are just so beautiful.”
The queen blushed. “I’m nothing compared to you.” She knew it was a sin, but she didn’t care. It’s not like she even liked her husband. “Would you like to stay with me until I have to go back? It’s lonely out here.”
“It’s lonely in there I presume. You are always out here.”
“I do whatever it takes to keep away from my grimey husband.”
“You hate him, don’t you?” She nodded. “I would gladly like to stay with you.”
That was how the affair between the queen and the angel started. Of course, they both knew it was wrong, but they were meant for eachother. It was plain as day. The queen would sneak out every night until the day came when she ran away to live with him in a small cottage in the woods. They even had a child together. She was a little girl named Angelique. She had her mother’s hair and her father’s eyes. Angelique was the most beautiful thing that they had ever seen. Of course, being a half-angel, she was born with wings like her father would would obviously have angel-like powers when she got older.
Well, the king found out about this. He had had spies watching the queen’s every move. He was going to make her pay for what she had done. She was his and his alone. There was no way that this was going to be brushed away like dust. No, he was going to make all three of them pay. The king knew just what to do as well.
On the night of a new moon when darkness filled the sky, he used the spell book that he had gotten from a warlock to summon a demon. The circle was drawn and the candles lit. After chanting the incantation over and over again, the doorway to hell was finally opened. In front of the king stood the demon known as Alvah, a snake demon. The king was finally going to get the revenge that he craved. Of course, he would have to pay with his soul, but perhaps he could just offer up all of his servants souls instead.
Alvah made his way to the cottage. This was going to be easy. The angel was currently in heaven doing important work. He easily entered the house to find a screaming woman holding her baby close to her chest. She begged for him to not harm her baby. She said that he could do whatever he wanted to to her as long as he didn’t hurt her child, so he did. He raped her before finally biting her neck to inject his incurable venom. Not even her angel would be able to heal her. He had made sure to give her a lot more than it would take just to kill her.
He was about to leave, but then he remembered the child laying in the corner of the small building. Alvah made his way over to her and picked her up. He thought about what he could do to her. He was not going to keep his promise to the queen. Finally, he thought of the perfect way to make the angel suffer. Why kill his only child? Why not just take her back with him? That way the angel would still feel hope even though there would be hardly any. There was no way that he was going to let the angel get his child back. He cut the child’s wings off and absorbed them into his hand. The place now hand a picture of wings.
Alvah took the girl back to hell but also made a stop on his way back to hell. The king made a contract with him to give him his soul, and Alvah really wanted it now, so he ripped it right out of his chest. Of course, he didn’t leave the servants. He thought that they would be good to take as well. Before going back home, he smiled and thought about how much fun he had had that day.
The demons in hell raised Angelique and called her Faida. Alvah was kind of like a father. He wasn’t a “father”, but he was the closest thing that she had to one. Eventually, she was old enough to travel around the world. She was not allowed to have any relationships with humans and to not let her secret slip, but she was alright with that. She hated hell so much. Faida would rather go out into the world and paint and draw and sing even if she couldn’t do it for people.
One day, she was in Baltimore in a park. Faida always liked parks. The swings were her favorite. The day was a very quiet one. There was no one there. That meant that she could sing all she wanted to, so she did. She sung with all of her heart and soul.
“Your voice is pretty,” a young boy’s voice said. She looked over and saw a boy sitting on the other swing. A big goofy smile was on his face that also held huge brown eyes and a large nose. He wasn’t very old at all. “You’re really pretty.”
“Thanks. Where’s your mother?”
“My big sis brought me here, but she saw a boy and started to talk to her, so I came over here because I heard you singing. What’s your name?”
Faida was going to tell him the name that the demons always called her, but decided against it when her actual name came into her head. “Angelique.”
“I like that name. My name is Jack.”
“Well, hello Jack.”
“Hello Angelique. Would you mind pushing me? It didn’t look like my sis will be here soon.”
“Of course.” She got up and started pushing him. Faida thought that he was the cutest kid that she had ever seen. His laugh was adorable as well. She stopped when she heard footsteps coming in their direction. It was just far enough where she knew that the person would not be able to see her. With her powers, she saw that it was a girl that looked like she was probably Jack’s older sister. “I have to go now, but your sister will be here soon.”
“I don’t want you to go though.”
Faida smiled at his innocence. If only he knew what kind of person she was. “I’m not leaving forever.”
“You’re not?”
“We’ll meet again one day, and I’m always be here.” She pointed to his chest and then his head. “And your memory as well.”
“Ok. I won’t forget.”
She ended up watching the little boy grow up. She didn’t understand what it was about him. He fascinated her. When he was older, she knew that she had to have him for herself. It took 8 years for Faida to convince Alvah that she needed someone even if it meant that person would be her slave. When he said ok, she started to plan everything out, and when the day came, she kidnapped the man named Jack.

“You were the girl in the park?”
“Do you remember?”
“Kind of. I was so young. I can’t believe that you watched me grow up. And I thought kidnapping was bad enough.”
She laughed. “Well, everything is ok now, so that’s good, right?”
“Yeah. I’m glad that you took me away. It may have sucked at first, but now look at us.”
“I still wish that I didn’t have to do it like this. I would have rathered just started a relationship like everyone else does.”
“Why do you have to do everything he says?”
“I told you that he took something from me. He took away my wings. As long as he has my wings, I cannot do anything without him knowing about it and my powers are weaker. He could easily take me down.”
“Is there anyway that you can get them back?”
She shook her head. “The only way I could get them back is if my soul mate was able to use magick to make me new ones.”
“That gives me an idea.”
“What’s that?”
“I’m going to paint something for you tomorrow.”
“Ok.”
“You’ll love it.”
“I love everything you do.”
“Trust me. This will be your favorite one yet.”

Notes

That's her story. It's not that hard to think of what Jack paints. This story is based on the song..... I even made it so that Faida is actually a princess. I am so happy that I got to write this part. I've been waiting to get to it. Now the fun can begin. Well, I don't know who long it will take for the one part. Hmmmm... Well, I actually have to update my other stories especially my favorite one. I just couldn't because I wanted to get to this chapter.....
Anyway....time for thank yous...

@ironi1234
I will if I can come up with something for them or their daugther like my sister told me too. I do have an idea for a story that you might like since you liked this. Of course, I want that one to be longer. It will be a super power one isn't of supernatural, but I feel that if you like the story line in this you might like that one because I feel like they are closer than my other stories. I just need to come up with her powers and one of her sisters powers because I've only thought of one.
