I waved once more and then stepped off the stage, followed by Jack, Rian and Zack. I grabbed a water bottle and a towel, so did the other guys. "So, that Ashley girl." Jack started. "She's pretty hot, huh." he grinned. "Think so, she's just a friend. Besides, I don't know if I can even still call her a friend. I haven't seen her in years. Last time we saw each other I was like 14 or so." "Well, why don't you invite her over here tonight so we can just hang and you two can catch up?" Jack suggested. "And now don't lie to me and tell me you didn't just gave her your number without her knowing and sending a text to yourself so you have her number while taking that picture. I know you, bro." he teased. Crap, was it that obvious? "Okay, maybe I did that." I admitted. "So what are you waiting for? CALL HER!" Rian said. "OKAY OKAY I'M CALLING!"
I walked out of the room and dialed her number. I was nervously pacing through the hall when she picked up her phone. "Hello this is Ashley Sparks." Shit, no turning back now. "Hey Ashley.." I answered. "Alex?" "Yeah, it's me." "How did you get my number?" she sounded confused. "While taking that picture on stage I might have send a message to my phone so I had your number." I answered sheepishly. She didn't answer so I decided to break the silence and just ask her. "Anyways.. I actually called to invite you backstage. So we could, you know, catch up and just talk and hang." "Yeah sure, uhm, sounds fun. Can I bring my friend?" "Ofcourse!" I had a big smile on my face. "Okay, uhm, where do we have to go?" "Just walk to the other side of the building, there are fences there and probably a lot of fans. Just say your names to the security and I'll make sure they'll let you in. What's your friends name?" "Emily Benson." "Okay, I'll see you in a couple of minutes then." "Okay, bye." "Bye."
