Alex POV:
Ashley looked stunning in that dress. She kept asking me where we were going, but I wanted it to be a suprise. I was taking her to one of my favorite restaurants. It was quite new, so Ashley didn’t know the place. I parked the car and stepped out of it. I walked over to her side of the car to open the door for her. “Wow, Alex. You shouldn’t have done this..” she began. But I put my finger on her mouth so she would stop talking. “Shh. I know I shouldn’t have, but I wanted to.” I answered. She smiled at me, I took her hand and together we walked inside. “I made a reservation on the name Gaskarth.” I said to the woman standing behind a little desk. “Table for two?” she asked. I nodded and she leaded us towards our table. “What do you want to drink?” I asked Ashley. “Hm, whatever you want.” “What do you think of champagne?” “Sounds good.” I ordered 2 glasses of champagne. After only a minute, the waiter came back with our champagne and the menu.
“Have I already mentioned how extremely beautiful you look tonight?” she blushed a little. She was so goddamn cute when she blushed. “I think I will go for the salmon.” She said. I looked at the menu. “Hm, I think I’ll go with the steak.” We ordered our food and another drink. “I saw Noah earlier today.” she began our conversation. “You should go by his house sometime, he is a big fan of you guys.” I hadn’t seen Noah in years.. He was Ashley’s neighbor and we used to play together sometimes. “Cool, I’ll stop by sometime. How is he?” I asked. “Tall.” She laughed. “So, did Jack really choose your outfit?” I didn’t know Jack had some fashion sense at all. “Actually, he did. Emily helped him a bit, but he came up with this dress.” “Wow, can’t believe it.” We both laughed. After a while, the waiter came back with our food. When we finished I asked if she wanted dessert. “No, thank you. But you can take one if you want.” “I think I’ll pass, too.”
When we walked back to the car, she entwined her fingers with mine and looked at me. “Thank you for this beautiful evening. I had a great time.” She said softly. I looked back at her and grinned. “Oh, but this isn’t the end of our evening yet.” She looked confused at me. I smiled and opened the door for her. “Get in the car, I want to show you something.”
