Thirteen.
Ashley POV:
When it was 4 pm Emily was still not home and so I decided to take a relaxing bath. I was fucking nervous about tonight. I didn't even know what to wear because I didn't know where he would take me. I just hoped Emily would be back soon, I really needed her help right now. I grabbed a towel to dry myself off when somebody knocked on the bathroom door. "Give me a minute!" I shouted and wrapped the towel around me. I opened the bathroom door and faced.. Jack. "Oh Jack! What are you doing here, where's Emily?" I felt a bit uncomfortable in front of Jack with only a towel wrapped around me. He grinned at my reaction. "I'm here!" I heard Emily shouting from the living room. "Why is Jack here AGAIN?" I said with the emphasis on again. "Well, he is going to help you pick out an outfit for tonight." She was standing beside Jack now. I was waiting for them to burst into laughter, but I could see on their faces that this wasn't a joke. "Why?" I managed to ask. "Well, Gaskarth wouldn't tell me what you guys were doing tonight. But Jack knows, so he can give a bit advise what to wear and what not." I looked over at Jack, who just stood there, amused. "Why wouldn't he tell you?" "Well, he said girls can't keep secrets." She rolled her eyes. "Now show me your closet!" Jack cheered.
"So maybe this black pants with-" "NO!" Emily snatched the pants out of Jack's hands. "No pants on a first date. Unless Alex planned someting adventurous?" Jack thought for a bit. "No, it's not really adventurous." he admitted. "What about a skirt?" he held up my favorite skirt. "No, wait! This is better." he handed me a dress with a huge smile on his face. "Oh, with these shoes!" said Emily, holding a pair of black heels. I changed into the dress and looked in the mirror. "Hm, no.." I said. "Okay, let's see.. This one?"
After I tried on every possible outfit I finally found the dress I was going to wear tonight, thanks to Jack actually. Emily helped me with shoes and accessories. When I was ready I did my make-up and decided to not straighten my hair. I knew Alex liked it more natural. "Wow, Ash!" Emily said with a huge smile when I came out of the bathroom and pulled me into a hug. "I'm sure Alex will love it." Jack winked. "Thank you so much, Jack." I hugged him, too. Then someone knocked on the door and I opened it. Alex looked amazing, as always. "You look beautiful." he whispered in my ear after kissing my cheek. "HAVE FUN YOU TWO!" Emily and Jack shouted. "I'm sure you two are also gonna have a fun time while I'm gone." They both blushed and Alex laughed.
"Where are we going?" I tried again when we were sitting in the car. "That's a surprise." he teased. "You know I hate surprises." I said and pouted. "Don't look at me like that. It's not far anymore." I looked at his face, he was even more sexy when he was driving..
