I was still crying in the bathroom when Alex came to get me.
"Lauren? Why are you in there? It's show time!" He said. I walked out of the bathroom and looked up at him.
"Why are you crying?" He asked. I sighed.
Flashback" I whispered.
“Oh well, it's not real, alright?” He said as he gave me a hug. I can't believe he believed that. I felt horrible. How could I do this to Alex? I loved him and I just kissed his fucking best friend. I put on my best fake smile, pulled out of the hug and looked up at him.
“Lets blow the roof off this place” I said and he smiled down at me.
“There's the energetic little Lauren I know” He said and we walked off the bus hand in hand. My
smile disappeared when I re entered the dressing room, Jack had his head and his hands and Zack had his arm around him, Zack looked up at me and gave a sad smile, Alex didn't see any of that though, he was too busy tweeting. Jack stood and rushed out of the room and Zack mouthed 'meet me behind the bus in a minute' I just nodded and then he left.
“How long until the show?” I asked Alex.
“Uh, half an hour” He replied. I was only a little nervous now, I was getting used to performing in front of crowds.
“Right, well you go do whatever you do when you disappear before a show” I said, giving his hand a squeeze. He offered a small smile and left. I slowly made my way to the bus and saw Zack standing behind it.
"Zack" I said.
"When are you going to tell him?" He asked.
"After the tour" I replied.
"Right" He sounded pissed off.
"Look Zack, I hate myself for it, but he kissed me, okay? I pushed him off" I replied.
"Yeah, I know. It's all just a bit stressful" He sighed.
"You're not the one who's got to tell him" I said and squeezed my eyes shut to try and stop the tears. Zack pulled me into a hug.
"It's going to be okay" He said.
"Thanks Zacky" I replied.
“No problem, now show starts in 15. We should get going” He said and we walked back to the venue and went backstage where everyone was already warming up. I did some stretches and vocal exercises, grabbed my guitar, made sure it was in tune, had a big drink of water them waited for my cue to go on.
"Lauren, you're on in 10" A producer said. I counted back from 10 and ran on stage.
"What's up you smelly lot?!" I shouted into the microphone in my best English accent. The crowd roared and I announced my fisrt song.
“So I'm gonna mix it up a bit and play 'easier to lie' by Cassadee Pope!” I looked out of the corner of my eye and Zack and Jack's heads snapped up. Only they knew why I was singing this one.

I finished my set and ran off stage to give everyone their good luck hugs. It was awkward for me and Jack, but we didn't want to make Alex suspicious.
“You shouldn't have sung that, he'll piece it all together, he's smarter than you think” Jack said as I hugged him.
“Trust me, he wont” I said and gave Alex a kiss and they all ran on and began playing. I watched their set with a big smile on my face, but with a war going on in the back of my head.

Time lapse.

"Can you believe this is the last show?" Jack asked.
“I know, its gone so quick! Its gonna be weird when we get back, I hope nothing changes when we get off tour” I said and Zack and Jack glared at me then looked nervously at Alex.
"Why would anything change?" Rian asked.
“I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid” I shrugged. And yes, I have been using this to my advantage all week, making Jack think that I would tell Alex. Zack didn't like me doing it, but it was the best revenge I could get.
“I don't know why, but I'm really not looking forward to going home, I keep feeling like something bad will happen” Alex said. Me Zack and Jack all looked at each other then at Alex.
"Its probably just your anxiety, you know how it gets near the end of tour" Zack said.
“Yeah, you're probably right” Alex smiled and we all went silent. I got my phone out and checked twitter. I replied to a few people then got up and announce that I was going to get ready and I'd meet everyone backstage 15 minutes before show time, then went back to the bus, got showered, did my hair and make up then sat down and skyped Jay, Emma and Max.
"Hey Lauren!" They all shouted. I still haven't told them what happened.
"Hey guys" I sighed.
"What's wrong?" Max asked. I looked around to make sure the bus was empty.
"Something happened last week" I said.
"What was it?" Jay asked.
"Jack kissed me, but I didn't kiss back, I swear it." I replied.
“I'm sure Alex will understand. I mean, if you took him back after what he did, I'm sure he'll understand.” Emma said.
"I dunno, I've just got a feeling something bad will happen" I sighed.
"Just stay positive" Jay said.
“Yeah, well I better go and warm up, I'll text you after the show” I said. We said goodbye and I ended the call then turned around and there he was, Alex. He was stood there in tears.
"Alex" I whispered.
"Y-you didn't kiss him back, did you?" He asked.
"No, I swear to god I didn't" I said.
"Well I guess I forgive you, but I don't know about Jack" He said.
"wait until after the show" I replied. He nodded and I stepped forward and hugged him.
"I love you Alex" I whispered.
“I love you too Lauren” He whispered back. I wiped his tears away and we walked back to the venue in silence. We got back and I went off to warm up, then everyone gave me a good luck hug.
"He knows" I whispered to Zack.
"How?" He asked.
"He heard me on skype to Jay" I whispered back.
"Oh" I pulled out of the hug and hugged Jack so that it all looked normal, then went on and did my usual thing. This time, I started off by doing a cover of Stay Awake by All Time Low. The guys laughed when I announced that.

The whole show was over, we were all showered and relaxing on the bus ready for the drive home, no one felt time partying tonight, well Rian did, but that's because he didn't know about any of this. Zack could tell no one wanted to start the conversation about the kiss, so he kicked it off.
"Anyone want to say anything?" Zack asked.
"Don't you just hate it when people go behind your back?" Alex asked. Jack's head shot up and he glared at me.
"Don't glare at her Jack, its not her fault" Zack snapped.
"What the hell's going on?!" Rian asked. We all looked at Jack.
"I kissed Lauren" Jack mumbled.
"Why Jack?" Zack asked.
"It was an in the moment thing, alright?" He said, sounding pissed off. Alex started shouting at him then and Jack shouted back, but no one could tell what they were saying.
“Stop it! STOP. IT” I shouted and stood up. “Maybe I shouldn't have come on this tour. Alex, he didn't mean it, can't you see that? Just forgive him and we can all move on” I said.
"Oh, so you're taking his side now?" Alex shouted, standing up aswell.
"No, I'm saying what we're all thinking!" I shouted back.
"Whatever" He sighed.
“You're in no place to talk, really, are you?” I asked he didn't reply, so I carried on. “When I found out about Sasha, my opinion on you changed completely, but I overlooked that in the end, didn't I? I still love you, so why can't you just forgive Jack?” I said.
“Alex cheated on her like he cheated on me, but she went crazy and ended up in a mental institute” I said.
“Wow, Alex you really aren't in any place to talk if you did that.” Rian said.
“So you're all on his side?!” Alex shouted.
“No, we just want this to be over” Zack said. Alex just slumped down into the chair and mumbled something about everyone.
“Maybe I shouldn't have come back into your life Alex, all I've ever done is caused you trouble, haven't I? I left you when you didn't want me, and that clearly damaged you, I came back and tried to forgive you, but that clearly isn't enough for you, is it? WELL WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?!” I shouted at him.
“Lauren, I love you and you know that, I'm just pissed off and I shouldn't be taking it out on all of you” He said.
“I'm sorry, what I did was uncalled for, it wont happen again” Jack said then walked off. Rian went after him and me, Zack and Alex sat there in silence, wondering what was going to happen when we all got home.
