We all got back to our homes last night. Alex didn't stay with me, he said he needed to think a few things over so I went and stayed with Jay and Emma. Max was away on another business trip.
“How are you, Lauren?” Jay asked as I walked into the kitchen.
“I feel like shit” I said, then filled them in on everything that happened.
“I'm sure he wont leave you” Emma said.
“Yeah, plus it wasn't your fault.” Jay added. My phone rang then and it was Alex. My throat constricted and I found it hard to get any words out.
“H-hello” I said.
“Hey Lauren, we're meeting at Zack's at 2, please come” He said.
“Okay, I-I'll be there” I said.
“I love you Lauren” He replied.
“I love you too Alex” I smiled. He hung up and Jay and Emma were looking at me expectantly.
“What did he say?” Jay asked.
“We're all meeting at Zack's at 2 so we can sort all of this out” I replied then checked the time. It was 1o'clock. I had an hour to get ready. I stuck around and chatted with Jay and Emma for a while then went home, got showered, threw some clothes on and made my way to Zack's.

I rounded the corner and walked up to Zack's front door and rand the doorbell. Alex appeared a few moments later and pulled me into a big hug, I hugged back.
“I'm so glad you don't hate me” I said.
“I couldn't ever hate you” He smiled. We made our way down to the basement where everyone was already sitting.
“Good we're all here” Rian said.
“I'm sorry Alex and Lauren, it was an in the moment thing, it didn't mean anything, I just I regret it so much” Jack said.
“I forgive you Jack” I said and he smiled at me.
“Jack, I don't know if I can forgive you. I mean, its not the first time this has happened, you kissed Lisa when I was still with her” Alex said.
“I know and I'm so sorry” Jack said.
“Save it” Alex replied. I knew this was all my fault.
“I'm gonna use the bathroom” I said and rushed out and locked myself in the bathroom. I sat on the floor and burst into tears. I've ruined everything. The band might even split because of me. How could I be such an idiot? I should never have gone on tour with them, everything always end badly when I'm around. Maybe I should just disappear, never come back, start a new life, anything. As long as I don't fuck Alex's life up any more.
“Lauren?” I heard someone say from the other side of the door.
“Who is it?” I asked.
“It's Zack, open the door” He replied. I got up and unlocked the door. He saw me crying and pulled me into a hug.
“I've fucked everything up for Alex. I should just leave.” I said.
“No you haven't. This is in no way your fault, we want you to stick around, and we'll sort this out Lauren, please don't blame yourself, okay?” He said and carried on rubbing my back as I cried. When I was done crying we went back down to the basement and I sat next to Alex and he put his arm around me.
“I'm sorry Lauren” Jack said.
“Don't speak to her” Alex snapped.
“No, Alex. I've forgiven him, it was a mistake, why can't you just realise that?” I snapped at him.
“Because I know Jack. And it wasn't a mistake” Alex said. I shook my head in disbelief then walked out. I heard Alex calling after me but I just ignored him and walked all the way back home.

I got in and collapsed on the sofa and cried and cried and cried. This really was all my fault. I felt horrible about it all.
“Lauren?” I heard someone shouting as they hammered on the door.
“Go away!” I shouted back.
“It's me, Jack. Just please let me in” He said. I sighed and opened the door and let him in.
“I'm so sorry Lauren, I shouldn't have done it, I feel horrible about it.
“Don't Jack, it was a mistake, Alex just doesn't realise that, you're still my best friend” I said and he smiled. I went into the kitchen and made us both a hot chocolate. I handed it to him and we sipped our drinks silently.

About 5 minutes later, I heard my front door slam and Alex came running in. He just glared at us then turned his attention to me.
“I love you Lauren. I mean it” He said. Then bent down and kissed me.
“Now as for you” Alex pointed his finger in Jack's direction. “Don't ever do what you did again”
“You're forgiving him?” I asked.
“No, but I'll be civil” Alex said. Jack smiled at me and I smiled at Alex.
“Well, its a step in the right direction” I said as I threw my arms around Alex.
“So, should we go back to Zack's then?” I asked and we made our way back to Zacks.

“Well you look happy” Rian commented.
“They're being civil for now” I explained. Rian and Zack smiled to each other. I went upstairs and got us all some beers from the fridge and we all sat down and laughed with each other like nothing ever happened.

Alex decided he would sat round mine tonight, so when everyone got bored and made their way home, me and Alex walked back hand in hand.
“I'm glad you're being civil with him Alex” I said when we got in.
“Me too, its easier that way” He replied.
“Now, what do you say we go upstairs?” I smiled. He nodded and we walked upstairs and well, you know what happened next.

Notes

I know this chapter's short and crappy, but I needed it here to set up the last 1 or 2 chapters. Yeah, it's almost over!:(

But fear not, as there will be a sequel with more drama and tears and fluffy stuff and unexpected shit and I can't wait to start writing it because I'm really excited for it!
