Alex POV:
Olivia texted me a picture of her in her bridesmaid dress. She looked beautiful of course. I sighed and looked up at Rian in yet another tuxedo.
“Guys, I think this is the one.” He adjusted his cufflinks and checked himself out in the mirror.
“Well Jesus Christ,” I sighed, “It only took you a few hours.”
“Oh shut up.” He scoffed and walked around a bit.
“Hey,” Zack joined in, “It did take a really long time.”
“Oh please.” Rian rolled his eyes.
“No man, all of the girls got their dresses.” I told him.
“What? You’re kidding.” Jack looked shocked.
“No, I’m not.” I shook my head.
“And how do you know this?” Rian pressed.
“Because I’ve been texting my girlfriend all day,” I explained.
“Did she send pictures?” Jack sat up from lying down on the leather couch in the cozy waiting area.
“Yep,” I nodded.
“Well,” Zack shot an eyebrow up, “Do we get to see?”
“Sure.” I pulled up the picture of Olivia in her dress along with one of each member of the bridal party.
“Wow,” Jack nodded with a side smile, “She looks amazing.”
“I know,” I sighed.
“Well pay for the damn suit asshole.” Matt finally started talking.
“Yeah I’m fucking hungry.” Zack started to rub his belly.
“Why don’t we go meet up with the girls for Panera?” I suggested.
“Sounds great,” Jack lay back down onto the couch while Rian went back into the dressing room.
“Go ahead and call Olivia.” Rian said from behind the curtain.
“So how was tux shopping?” Cassadee asked once we were all sitting at a huge table.
“Your fiancé is a piece of shit at picking out a tux.” Jack shook his head.
“It took him a few hours.” Zack rolled his eyes.
“Hey. You’re my best man Zack.” Rian punched him lightly on the arm, “You’re supposed to be on my side.”
“Sorry dude,” Zack shrugged, “You took forever.”
“Even Cassadee didn’t take that long.” Olivia looked at him.
“Oh yeah and the dress is so nice.” Cassadee smiled widely. “But poor Rian doesn’t get to see it for two whole months.”
“And I saw the most gorgeous dress ever while we were there.” Olivia smiled.
“Yeah she made Cass try it on.” Ashley took a sip of her drink.
“But it wasn’t really Cass’s style though.” Olivia frowned. Rian kicked me under the table. I made a face and looked up at him.
“What?” I mouthed to him. He just shook his head and rolled his eyes.
“Well I’ve got to get back home.” Matt stood up first. We had already finished dinner and the sun was starting to set.
“That sounds like a good idea.” I got up and everyone else followed suit.
Cassadee and Rian went into their cars while I got into mine with Olivia by my side. I started up the engine and turned on the heater.
“You have to work tomorrow huh?” I asked once we started down the street.
“Yeah,” she sighed, “But you can always be my mode of transportation.”
“Hmm,” I thought about it. “I suppose that would be alright.”
“Well gosh; I would hate to be a bother.” She giggled. I pulled into the driveway and parked the car in the garage.
Olivia POV:
“Do you want to have fun tonight?” Alex whispered into my ear when we were in the shower.
“Not really.” I rinsed off and stepped out to grab a towel.
“Why not?” He whined.
“It’s been such a busy day hun,” I went into the closet to get myself out some pajamas. “Can’t we just snuggle?”
“At least I’ll be close to you.” He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my nose. I threw on a baggy shirt and some underwear before crawling into our bed. Alex was out right after I was and he lay down next to me. I snuggled up into his chest and turned on a movie. We decided to watch Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, since it was my favorite Harry Potter movie.
“Oh come on Myrtle, Harry’s in the bath!” I almost shouted.
“Whoa there, calm down.” Alex laughed.
“No way, she’s a perv.” I laughed with him. I listened to her tell Harry about how there were less bubbles when Cedric was in the bath.
“Well she is a perv.” He laughed again.
“Oh come on,” I giggled, “If Cedric Diggory was taking a bath, you’d peek too.”
“Oh how could I resist?” He rolled his eyes. “I’d mess up and call him Edward though.”
“But he was Cedric first.” I argued.
“Good point.” He said.
“Why doesn’t she ever creep on Neville?” I asked.
“I don’t know, why?” He returned a question.
“I used to have the biggest crush on him.” I laughed and thought about myself in my younger years.
“Why?” He looked confused.
“Look beyond the teeth.” I faked a wise old woman’s voice.
“I don’t know…” He scratched his head.
“Oh my gosh, have you seen him now?” I sat up.
“I don’t think so.” I grabbed my phone and pulled up a picture of him on Google before Alex could finish his sentence.
“Look.” I shoved the phone in his face and I saw his eyes widen.
“How’d that happen?” He looked confused.
“Braces.” I set my phone down on the bedside table and returned to Alex’s arms.
“So why’d you like him?” Alex asked.
“I don’t know,” I shrugged, “I guess I’ve always had a thing for British boys.” He smiled down at me and kissed my forehead.
“Do you want to move in with your British boy?” He snuggled me into his chest. I was pretty much over all the time, but I was ready to take this step with him. We were ready to live together. After all we’ve been together for a few months now, but it feels like we’ve been together forever.
