Olivia POV:

Well it’s time to leave for California. Spring came here in a flash and there’s no telling how soon it would end. Our bags were at the front door and my makeup was all done for the long day ahead of me. I got dressed quickly and met my lovely boyfriend downstairs so we could leave for the airport. We got the bags into the car and drove off into the dawn. I tried to get some sleep while Alex drove but my eyes just wouldn’t shut. Butterflies filled my stomach at the thought of going on vacation with him. It would be our first vacation together and that’s something that I’ve never done with a boyfriend before. This was going to be a year of firsts. Sure, last year we had many firsts, but this year was going to hold more. I tried not to smile stupidly at the thought of having new experiences with Alex.

We were at the airport in no time, pulling into the parking garage like no time had even passed. I got out of the car and went around to the trunk with Alex so we could get our bags for the flight. Once we had them he locked up the car and handed me the keys to keep in my purse.

Slowly but surely, we made it to gate. It only took about an hour and a half, which is pretty good I guess. We sat down in some seats by the front of the boarding area. Alex was kind enough to get us first class in all of our flights. I’ve never flown first class before; I hope the seats are more comfortable than these.

“Do you want something to eat?” Alex asked after a while. The sun had been up for a while now and it was around seven.

“Sure, I could go for a coffee too.” I thought about food for the first time this morning.

“Alright, well there’s a sandwich shop down there and then there’s a Starbucks right next to it.” He stood up from his chair.

“Do you want me to come with?” I asked.

“Nah, you should keep the seats and watch the bags.” He leaned down and kissed my forehead. “I’ll be right back love.”

I smiled to myself as he walked away. Thankfully he hadn’t been spotted yet this morning and hopefully he wouldn’t be spotted later in the day. I leaned back into the seat and tried to see if I could get some more sleep, but in these chairs, it’s no use. I sighed and checked my phone to see if I had gotten any messages.

Have fun on the trip ;) Be sure to send me some pictures! Or at least post them online so I can stalk you or something like that.

To: Cass
I’ll be sure to do something, don’t worry.

I went to check my other message just to see what they had to say.

From: Drew
Hey, text me when you get back so we can go out for lunch. I have barely talked to you since I started working with you guys.

Oh Drew. I honestly wish I could go out to lunch with him but he’s kind of flirty. I mean, I almost thought of him as my brother and now he’s trying to hit on me. And the worst part is that he knows I’m dating Alex. Fuck, he even met Alex. I don’t know what shit he’s trying to pull with me but I’m not going to let it fly.

“Hey babe,” Alex had his hands full.

“Oh sweetie, why didn’t you text me to come help you out with some of this?” I grabbed the coffees from him and at them on the table in front of us.

“Well someone had to keep an eye on our stuff, right?” He laughed.

He sat down and opened up the bag that held our breakfasts. He handed me a bagel sandwich and I gave him his coffee. We ate in silence for a while until two girl appeared in front of us and started whispering something to one another. They would keep looking up at us and start giggling and continue their constant whispers.

“Can I help you?” I asked politely, wanted to know what was going on.

“Um yeah,” the older looking girl giggled.

“Um, are you Alex from All Time Low?” The other one asked.

“Yeah,” he smiled up at them.

“Would you mind if we take a picture with you?” The first girl spoke up again.

“Of course you can!” He replied cheerfully. He got up and went around the table and sat between the two girls.

“Here,” the second girl handed me a camera and sat back into place next to Alex. I lifted the camera up and looked at the screen to make sure that they were all in the shot.

“Alright, say cheese.” I smiled at them.

“Cheese,” they all said at the same time but Alex speaking the loudest. I quickly snapped the picture and handed the camera back to the second girl.

“What are your names by the way?” Alex started a conversation with them.

‘Oh, I’m Laney and this is Felicia.” The first girl answered his question.

“Well you already know who I am, and this is my girlfriend Olivia.” He gestured to me.

“We know who she is silly.” Felicia laughed. “We kind of figured it out from all the pictures.”

“So people actually know who I am?” I tried not to sound too confused.

“Well I mean, we already knew because Rian tweeted you like all the time.” Laney responded like it was something I should have known.

“Yeah and then you guys would post pictures of each other with really cute captions and stuff.” Felicia shrugged.

“It really wasn’t that hard to figure out.” Laney agreed.

“Besides, we like her so much better than Lisa anyways.” Felicia flipped her bangs to the side of her forehead.

“Well anyways, we have to go on our flight soon.” They stood up and Alex did as well.

“It was nice meeting you guys.” Alex pulled each girl into a hug. They walked over to me and gave me an unexpected hug. I hugged them back and thanked them for coming over and talking to us. Our flight was called to board and we got to go on earlier since we were in first class.
