Twenty Two
Olivia POV:
“Yes! Let’s watch Home Alone!” Jack jumped up and down.
“Come on man, can’t we watch something else?” Zack groaned.
“No way, we’re going to watch it while we open presents.” Jack crossed his arms.
“Alright but we’re keeping the volume low.” Cassadee started getting gifts from under the tree.
“That’s okay; I already know all the words.” Jack smiled goofily.
“We know you do Jack.” Alex rolled his eyes. Cassadee set everyone’s presents in front of them. We had all bought each other gifts. I couldn’t wait to see the look on everyone’s faces when they saw their gifts. I made Cassadee go first, she loved the boots I got her. Since she was a country singer, I figured that she might as well have another pair. Besides, it wouldn’t kill her.
“Thanks you guys.” Cassadee laughed.
Rian opened his present next and laughed when he got the massage certificate.
“Oh cool, it’s good for two.” Rian smiled. “Couples massage.” He set his arm over Cassadee’s shoulder and smiled.
And then there was Jack. We already knew that he had them but we got him a boxed set of Home Alone and then a collector’s edition of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
“It comes with a Jack Skellington head!” Jack smiled all goofy and pulled Alex and I into a hug. “Thanks guys.”
“It’s no problem Jack,” I laughed.
“Yeah man.” Alex patted him on the back.
And then it left Zack. He opened the present and laughed when he pulled out the pink cheetah weights and girly lifting gloves I found at Walmart.
“Wow,” he laughed, “I’m going to get so many guys with these.”
“Well now it’s time to open Ri and Cass’s gifts.” Jack clapped his hands like a little boy.
“You two go first.” Cass pointed at me and Alex. I poked Alex so he would open his present up first. I watched as he pulled out a Glamour Kills sweater. He looked up at Rian who just smiled.
“And now Olivia,” I opened my present up to reveal a sweater as well. They weren’t the same but the idea was cute.
“Aw you guys,” I pulled them both into a hug, “It’s cute.”
“No problem,” Cass said and looked over at Jack. He got a sweater too and so did Zack. I guess they went with a clothes theme this year.
“And Zack’s gifts next.” Jack smiled.
Jack had the biggest smile on his face when he saw a new Ravens jersey.
“Dude, thanks.” Jack smiled.
“You can never have enough jerseys.” Zack laughed.
Alex got a Ravens football and gloves, Rian got the new madden game, and Cassadee got a gift card to a Forever 21. That left me to open mine last. I unwrapped the paper and saw a book. It had over 100 drink recipes and he also got me a bottle of vodka.
“Thanks Zack,” I laughed.
“No problem, I thought you should know how to make some great drinks.” He smiled.
“So that leaves Jack’s gifts.” Alex laughed.
“You all have to open them at the same time.” He had a huge grin on his face. We were all hesitant at first, but we all complied with his request. Once I looked down at my gift card to DSW, I saw that Cassadee got one too. But all the guys got sex books.
“Really Jack?” Cassadee rolled her eyes.
“You’ll love it later, trust me.” He winked.
“Well,” I stood up, “I brought some cookies.”
“I hope you’re sharing.” Jack laughed.

Alex POV:
“Oh Alexander,” my mom pulled me into a big hug, “I’m so happy you decided to stay with us tonight.”
“Mom, I promised you that I would spend Christmas here this year.” I smiled.
“Olivia,” my mother got distracted, “Would you like to help me cook dinner?”
“Of course,” she smiled and walked into the kitchen with my mother. It was only two now, so they were going to get started on something amazing.

“Oh my goodness Olivia,” my mom looked down at the traditional Christmas dinner. “It looks amazing.”
“I hope it tastes the same.” Olivia laughed. We all had some wine and water for drinks. I went and tried the dinner first. And I have to say, it was truly delicious.
“You guys did an amazing job,” I took another bite of the dinner and savored every last bite. I didn’t even realize it was gone until I heard my fork scrape the empty plate.
“Well Alex, you finished dinner quickly.” My dad over at me.
“Sorry,” I laughed, “It just tasted so good.”
“Well Olivia is a great cook,” my mom smiled at her.
“Oh please, I’m nowhere near your level.” Olivia waved her hand and laughed. “You’ll have to give me some of your recipes.”
“I’ll make sure to send you off with some tomorrow.” She smiled sweetly.
