Laura's POV
"Zack, are you alright? Look, I'm sorry. I just poured almost all of my life's shit out on you."
He turned around slowly, looking like he wanted to punch me and hug me at the same time. I couldn't help but be a little scared.
"Laura, I'm sorry I ran out. Just...the thought...of you not even having basic needs, bathing in a creek. It was all to much for me. Look, I know it's barely been a day, but I really care about you." He choked out.
I stood there in awe. Zack, liked me? A boy had never liked me before, let alone a famous one.
"Zack," I said, "Thank you. You don't know what this means to me, to have you."
He looked at me with a little surprise as he stopped crying, smiling a little.
"Come here." He said, "I forgot I wanted to give you something."
Zack's POV
As she walked over, I planned this out a little in my head. Wow, was I nervous. But, I thought, she deserves this. You know that.
I pulled her close to me, bent down, boy was she short!, and kissed her softly and sweetly. She kissed me back, and I don't think I've ever been happier in my life.
"It was about time you got your first kiss." I grinned at her.
"C'mon, I've got my stuff together now. Let's head back to the tour bus."
"Wait, Laura. One thing. Do you still self-harm? Because that's got to stop. And also, you said you had told me most of the crap in your life. Is there more?"
"Well yes to both. With the cutting, it helps to be around people so hopefully I can stop that. As for the rest of my life problems, I'll tell you some other time. It's kind of hard to talk about."
I'm satisfied with this, as she locks up her little house and we head back to my car, and then the bus. We walk in to see a smirking Flyzik who greets us, "So this is her? Guess I was right after all."
