Laura's POV
This must be their manager, Matt Flyzik. This is real! This is happening! But then I noticed that the boys looked none too happy, so I tried to focus on the conversation, just nodding when appropriate.
ATL POV
"Well boys, you've certainly outdone yourselves. Laura, I heard your audition. You're amazing, it'll be an honor to have you in the band," Flyzik said, "but since you're not over 18, I'll need to talk to your parents."
"No!" Zack shouted, "Don't bring that up, OK Flyzik? Her parents are dead, she hasn't had a guardian in years. She's been living alone."
"That's what we were trying to explain, Matty." Said Alex.
"Oh, sorry dude! I thought these guys were just messing with me, I'm sorry Laura. Hey, are you okay?" Matt said
"Um, yeah. Do you mind if I just step away for a sec? I think I remember where the bathrooms are, don't worry about me. Carry on." Laura said, walking away.
"Sure, I'll just wrap up what I need to talk about with these guys, and then I'll leave you to some band bonding time before we start rehearsals tomorrow. Bye Laura!"Flyzik called.
"Alright guys," Flyzik said after Laura left, "I won't get in your way here. Just, look out for her okay? It seems like she's had a rough life."
"Bye Flyzik." The guys said in unison.
"Um so guys, there's something we need to talk about," Zack said, "It's about Laura."
He proceeded to tell them her life story, or at least what she had told him.
"That's so fucking awful!" Was the consensus.
"Hey, she's been gone a terribly long time." Jack said, "I think I'll go look for her and bring her back here when I find her."
