Zack's POV
"Zacky?" She says, grinning. And I know it. My Laura's back.
"Laura-boo!" I exclaim, practically picking her up out of the hospital bed in a huge bear hug. Some things work out really well that she's so tiny.
"I missed you Zack. You were the first person I wanted to see when I woke up."
"Laura, it's killed me to see you like this. I'm so sorry. Beyond sorry. I just care...a lot."
"I know, Zack. I care a lot about you too."
"But not in the same way."
"I didn't used to." My head sprung up at that. Does she mean it? Does she....like me? I feel like I'm back in high school.
"Do you mean that Laura? 'Cause I know I'm not exactly the best, and definitely not the greatest-looking..."
"Stop. Stop right now. You are the best Zack-o. You are a million times better looking, and I love you more than any of the other guys I've ever met. Not only do I like you like that, but you're my best friend."
This is amazing. There was once a girl who made me feel like this, special. But those feelings died, and she left. It broke me. But Laura's different.
Laura's POV
It's the first time. The first time I've ever truly felt like this. And it's beautiful. So is Zack, but you know. His voice, his touch. They're like my addiction.
"So now that we've got that figured out finally, there is some business stuff to attend to." Said Flyzik, smirking and walking through the door.
AWKWARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
"Oh, uhm, y-yeah. Thanks for becoming my guardian, by the way." I stuttered, getting up to give him a hug. "I know that my first show was supposed to be tomorrow, and I think I can still do it."
"It's no problem. And are you sure? Because it'd be great, but I don't want you to push too hard either."
"I'm totally sure. I do believe I was brought here to be the pianist."
"You were, but you've also been an incredible therapist."
"Awesome. Now let's get you out of here. Zack, you have clothes for her?"
He blushes. "I didn't want to go through your stuff so I just brought you some of mine."
I laugh. "That's fine, silly. Shorts and a tee shirt? Perfect, now I have sweatpants and a sweatshirt." I said, sticking my tongue out at him.
He giggles. "Not my fault you're so tiny."
I take the clothes, and head into the bathroom to change out of the hospital gown and into Zack's gigantic clothes. Thankfully they left my bra and underwear on.
"Alright, newbie. You're good to go." Said Flyzik, wrapping an arm around me and leading me out to the car. We drive back to the bus, to find all the guys and Cass in the lounge, watching a movie. It's Magic Mike. I blush and quickly walk away to my bunk, muttering about going to bed.
Ew. Nudity. I lay down, ready to fall asleep in Zack's clothes. They feel like home.
