Kelsey's P.O.V.

"Kels... There's something I have to tell you, but please don't punch me..."

"I swear to god Jack what did you do this time?! And I promise not to punch you as long as you promise to shut your mouth while you chew. I do not need to see the food inside your mouth!"

He grinned big, "I promise" obviously making sure to open his mouth up wide as he spoke, showing off his half chewed burrito." I sigh to myself, gotta love Taco Bell eh...

"So, what this thing you needed to tell me?" I asked once he finished his bite.

He looked around and made one of those signature smirks, the one you always see someone do when they planned some kind of prank on someone. I subtly glanced around, searching for any signs of a bucket of water placed over my head or something of the sort, I mean, this is Jack, you never know...

"Well..."

"Fucking hell Jack just spit it out!"

"You mean my burrito or...?"

I shook my head. He was worse than a four year old, really, I think the blonde side of his hair might be overtaking his brain!

"Yes Jack, please spit out your burrito and feed it to me like a momma bird... Not. Just tell me what's going on! Come oonnnnnn!"

"On a scale of one to ten, how much would you hate going on a date with Alex?"

"Uh, wait up, is this even related to what you wanted to tell me or are you just stalling?"

"I'm serious Kels, would you like, consider going out with him? Look, I know it seems weird me trying to get you two together it's part of my 'best friend duties' ."

"Oh, sure Jack, so now being someone's BFF means you have to get them a hot date too?"

"So you think he's hot?"

"You're annoying, you know that.?" I couldn't help but laugh at this point.

"Look, as a best friend it's my job to try and convince my bro's crush to go out with him, isn't that what you girls usually do anyway?"

"Well that's sweet of you, and fine, alright, I'll go. On one condition: he does not, under any circumstance take me on one of those cheesy dates that everyone has. I hate classy restaurants, I hate expensive activities or whatever and above all I find movie dates stupid because it ruins the whole idea of a date. As for the 'what girls usually do' thing, I wouldn't know because your my first girlfriend Jacky!!" I stuck my tongue out at him and he proceeded to smack my chin upwards, making me bite my tongue.

"Fuck.shit.whore.cunt." It was bleeding a tiny bit, "That hurts so goddamn much Jack! What the actual hell?!"

"That's for calling me a girl."

"Asshole."

"As for the date thing, I'll make sure to pass the info along to Alex. Although I am interest in you explaining what you have against movie dates, seriously, I could use the advice from a girls perspective because I suck at getting long term girlfriends...

"Well it's simple really, I always thought dates meant learning to know the other person, you don't do much of that when sitting in front of a movie screen... Either that or the only thing you learn about them is what the inside of their mouth tastes like..."

" On second thought never mind, I think I'd really much rather have a different girl every few nights."

"Only you Jack... Only you." I stood up, playfully punching his shoulder.

"Liar. You promised you wouldn't punch me!"

"I never actually told a lie, I acted one out. It called breaking a promise, not lying. So there, I never told a lie but apparently now I'm a liar? Admit it Jacky, you don't make sense at all!"

ALSO. sorry this chapter is even shorter, I just wanted to set the grounds for the next chapter which should contain the date!! Let's hope Alex isn't too much of a doof to get it right :P
