“Oh my god Veronica! This is so unlike you”

Abby exclaimed, a hand was over her mouth. We were in the lockers as she tried to remain sane in listening to me tell the story

Two days have gone and I am still not over the inglorious fact that Alex Gaskarth got the nerve to surprisingly will his lips against mine
Two days have gone and I can still feel those lips; they were so soft, so gentle. The way it was, I could recall entirely. I had my guard down; I have gotten my heart win the war

Ugh I have become an emotional wreck
I don’t know what to exactly feel anymore
Well I could blame this all on that man. This was his fault.

Though Abby was my best-est friend in the whole world, and I love her to bits. I couldn’t tell her half of the story. The truth from Alex, his dark and traumatizing past
Alex, even if he is the annoying yet charming jerk he is, held such a burden for a long time and hid this from everyone until now.
It takes a lot of courage and guts for a person to open up
And I wanted to respect that

It feels like he gave me a piece of himself to me, from the many fragments that makes up him. He was still a mystery to me, but slowly I am learning and uncovering more secrets from the enigmatic Alex.

“Earth to Veronica?? Girl, you are seriously thinking too much” Abby giggled then she said

“I know you might be confused with all your fucked up feelings right now. Trust me, I’ve been through that”

I bit my lip and mumbled
“Abby, I-I don’t know. I’m terrified”

Abby shushed me
“ You might or might not fall in love with him. Just allow time to pass and fate work its wonders”

“But let your heart decide, that’s what matters the most”

“Don’t be afraid, coz love is a beautiful thing! There will be lots of plot twists and villains. However in the end, you’ll get your happy ending” She shouted in joy while grinning ear to ear
I had to laugh

“You talk of this strange feeling as if you are an expert on it”
“Well loving Kellin for like half of my life can teach you a lot of things” She put her hands on her waist

“Your gorgeous friend here, Veronica, is right” somebody chuckled behind us

Abby’s eyes widened then she said
“I’ll leave you two guys alone” exiting so quickly with traces of her grin earlier

“Guess who?” that somebody wrapped his arms tightly around my waist, also laughing so melodically
“I don’t need to. I already know who you are mystery guy” I smirked
“You’re no fun, Veronica Di Angelo” Alex pouted his lips then just had to tickle me
“Alex, oh no, please stop it!” I was already laughing my lungs out and was being tortured by his constant tickles
“Go first to our gig later. And I will stop”
“What gig? YOU GUYS GOT A GIG??!? That’s great!”
“Hell yeah we have! And I’m giving you free tickets. Abby and the rest of the gang can join.7168 Club at Munroe Lane. 5 pm. Front row. Because only you deserve the best”
“And of course, you’ll have to cheer for me and my band”

“You up for it?” Alex was pleading desperately on his knees, how could I say no?

“Okay we’re game for it”

“Awesome! God, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH VERONICA!!” He was deliriously happy and he suddenly had to raise me and shower over a thousand kisses on my cheek

“Woah there! I might fall” I was never afraid of heights but I am afraid of getting my bones broken, if Alex accidentally drops me

“You have already fallen, Veronica”
“Fallen for me…” He gave me a sweet and crooked smile and I swear
My heart might have practically skipped a beat

Unexpectedly the bell rang
We got caught by the bell and so we have to go back to each of our own classes.
I ran in exhilaration and in pure thrill
Major excited for tonight’s upcoming plans for the both of us

I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD :) LOL I HAVE BEEN RAISED LIKE A PHOENIX (hint hint: fall out boy haha) I'm sorry if I have been out for too long :( exams and tons of problems happened. but not to worry. it's break for us already and expect more recent updates.
This chapter is kinda short because the next one will be even bigger and better :D
