Rebecca’s POV

Today has got to be the greatest day of my life! I fucking met Green Day you motherfuckers! Suck on that! I turn around having just met Mike and Tre to find Alex talking to someone.

Wait…not just someone…Billie Joe Motherfucking Armstrong. I slowly walk over to Alex not believing my eyes. I’ve been in love with this dude since I was 7, and here he is…right in front of my eyes. I stumble over next to Alex staring at him.

“You’re…you’re Billie Joe Armstrong…oh my god.” I mumble staring at him.

“That I am.” He replies chuckling while smiling.

“Your…you're my hero d-dude!” I half yell before mentally slapping myself.

“Well that is lovely to know, hey come here.” He replies before wrapping me in a hug. Inside I have a fangirl moment, oh my fucking god! Billie Joe Armstrong is hugging me! He is fucking hugging me! I am in Billie Joe Armstrongs arms! When Billie lets go I feel a little downhearted but at the same time, so happy, I got a hug from my idol.

“I can’t help but thank you so much.” I mumble when pulling out of the hug.

“Why would you need to thank me?” he asks sincerely.

“Wake Me Up When September Ends, the song helped me so much.” I mutter staring up at him. From the look in his eye he knows what I’m talking about and leaves the subject be, answering by pulling me into another hug. While we hug I feel him lean down to my ear.

“The person you lost will be so proud of you.” He whispers in my ear before pulling away.
I see Alex shoot me a questioning glance and I wave him off. I thank Billie one last time before he mumbles he must now leave.

“I must go now, I have a show to get ready for, hope to see you there tonight, thank you for being loyal fans, bye” he says before walking off. I feel my heart drop at the fact we don’t actually have Green Day concert tickets but I shrug it off, at least I got to meet my hero.

Soon me and Alex are leaving the building walking side by side. This is when Alex decides to bring up what happened.

“What happened back there Rebecca?” He questions, turning to look at me.

“What are you on about?” I ask hoping he means something else.

“You know what I’m on about…what did Billie whisper to you?” he asks again, stopping us from walking.

“Alex just drop it.” I reply while trying to walk away. Alex goes to say something else but quickly decides against it, starting to walk again. I follow him quickly before stopping him and turning to face me.

“Alex I’m sorry, just I’d rather not talk about it and ruin this amazing day!” I reply smiling at him. He soon returns the smile and wraps me in a hug.

“I’m sorry I just worry about you Becc’s.” he mumbles into my hair, hugging me tighter. I pull out of the hug and look up at him.

“You have nothing to worry about.” I mumble starting to get lost in his eyes. They are so pretty and inviting, a lovely chocolate brown, they’re like a river, so easy to get lost in. Wait what am I saying, this is Alex, you do not get caught up by Alex. Quickly I pull away out of his arms shaking my head. I look back at Alex to see him confused for a second before snapping back to his normal charming self.

“Well thank you for today, but we should probably get home now.” I mumble starting to head towards the car.

“But we can’t” Alex shouts to me, I turn round to face him realising he didn’t follow me and is infact a couple of feet behind me.

“and whys that Alexander?” I ask confused as to what is stopping us from leaving.

“We still have the concert!”
