Alex's POV

*Two months later*

“I can’t wait to see you” Jack spoke.

I looked at my laptop screen and smiled. I was on Skype with Jack at 5am in the morning. The two months wasn’t that long, but I missed Jack like crazy, my bed was lonely and empty.

“So I’m staying the night and we leave for tour tomorrow?” he continued.

“Indeed we are” I replied.

Jack smiled and I smirked as I flicked between Twitter abd Skype. Almost everyone knew about Jack and I, except one person, my other best friend Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men, he was going to be pissed I didn’t tell him first.

“When will you be here?” I asked.

“What time is it now?” Jack questioned.

“5am” I answered.

Jack silent for a minute.

“Around 1pm” he spoke.

“That’s fine with me, I’ll go visit Austin for a couple of hours” I mused.

“He’s going to murder you” Jack chuckled.

I laughed as I sat back in my chair and admired Jack on the screen. Even on a laptop screen he still looked gorgeous.

“Alex, you’re staring babe” Jack chuckled.

I blushed as I sat back up and yawned slightly.

“Hey Lex, I’m gonna head back to bed for a while, I’ll see you at one” he mumbled.

“Alright Princess, I love you” I answered.

“I love you too” Jack cooed.

I smiled as I blew him a kiss then ended the call. I might catch up on some sleep as well before I go to Austin. I want to at least be remotely awake.

*Time lapse five hours*

I pulled into the driveway at Austin’s house and stepped out. He lived a few houses down, but I was too lazy to walk. I heard barking as I approached the house. Before I even got to the door I was tackled to the lawn by Austin.

“Alex!” he yelled.

“Austin, can’t breathe” I wheezed.

“Sorry” he chuckled, standing up and helping me up too.

I dusted myself off as we walked inside and I was greeted by his dog.

“Drink?” Austin asked, walking into the kitchen.

“Just some water” I replied.

Austin nodded as he opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, handing it to me. We walked outside and sat down on some lounge chairs by the pool.

“New pool?” I asked.

“Oh yeah” Austin replied, sliding his sunglasses on.

I chuckled as I took a sip of water.

“Now, Mr Gaskarth, I heard a little something about someone getting cosy with Mr Barakat” Austin spoke, pointing at me.

I started to blush as I tried to hide it.

“Tell me” he continued.

“We kissed, and confessed we love each other” I replied.

Austin flailed his arms and shrieked.

“I knew it! I fucking knew it!” he yelled.

“Calm your tits” I laughed.

“No!” Austin whined, throwing his arms in the air again.

I laughed again as I sat my water down beside me.

“So what’s he like?” Austin questioned.

“What?” I asked.

“You know, in the bedroom department” Austin sneered.

“Oh god Austin, we haven’t gotten that far!” I yelled.

Austin burst out laughing as I grabbed my water and threw some at him and he screamed.

“You’ll pay for that!” he roared.

“Oh yeah? Try me” I chuckled.

Austin tackled me as he took my jacket off and I shrieked.

“Don’t you dare!” I yelled.

“I think I just might” Austin sneered.

He picked me up as he hung me over the pool and I started flailing my arms.

“No Austin! Bad Austin!” I yelled.

“Don’t test me Gaskarth” he laughed.

“Please! I’ll do anything!” I cried.

Austin put me down and got right in my face.

“Anything?” he whispered.

“Anything” I replied.

*Time lapse half an hour*

“Oh yes Alex, uh, you’re so good with your hands” Austin sighed.

He let out another sigh as I ran my hands along his shoulders and started started to massage them. With the noises he was making it could pass off as sex noises and I tried to contain my laughter, the neighbours would be petrified.

“Oh my god, oh yeah that’s the spot” Austin moaned.

“Will you quit moaning, people will think we’re up to no good” I snorted.

“Well we already did that” Austin chuckled.

“That was back in high school” I muttered.

“You had a huge crush on Jack, I can’t believe you hid being gay all these years” Austin replied.

“We were drunk Austin, I never was gay back then, was a phase. But Jack’s changed all that” I mused.

“You really love him huh?” Austin questioned.

I went silent for a moment.

“With every beat of my heart” I whispered.

Austin stayed quiet as I continued to give him a massage. I never did tell Jack about what happened back in high school.

*Time lapse three hours*

Jack was going to be here any minute now and I was extremely nervous. We haven’t hugged, kissed or cuddled in two months. What if he doesn’t feel the same when he sees me? I shook the thought away as I sat down on the couch, twiddling my thumbs. I jumped as I heard a knock at the door and I walked over to my front door. I opened it and saw a woman standing at the door.

“Are you Alex Gaskarth?” she asked.

“Yes” I replied.

“Your boyfriend Jack said he missed his plane, so he’ll be meeting you for your tomorrow, he sent me over with flowers as an apology” she spoke.

“Oh” I answered.

My heart sank as I took the flowers and closed the door behind me. I walked into the kitchen, sitting the flowers down and wiping a tear away.

“What’s a man gotta do to get a boyfriend around here!” a voice called.

I ran into the lounge as I saw Jack standing by the couch, a rose in his hand.

“Jack!” I yelled, running towards him.

I threw my arms around him as he hugged me close. He smelt like cocoa butter and I felt tears well up in my eyes. We pulled away and he rested his hand on my cheek.

“Hey, hey Lex, don’t cry” Jack soothed, resting his forehead against mine.

“I thought you weren’t coming” I sobbed.

“Surprise” Jack chuckled.

I smiled as Jack sat the rose down on the couch and put both hands on my cheeks. He lent forward and kissed me passionately as I kissed back. God I missed this, it was so good to have Jack here again.

Jack’s POV

“All packed” Alex mused, dumping his guitar case next to the door.

We decided to pack for tour now instead of later, I wanted to spend some time with him.

“So what shall we do now?” I questioned.

Alex shrugged as he rubbed his back slightly.

“My back is killing me” he whined.

I turned my head slightly and raised an eyebrow.

“Fancy a massage?” I questioned.

“You don’t have to” he mused.

“Lex, come on, I don’t like seeing you in pain” I replied.

He sighed as he slipped his shirt off and I couldn’t help but stare.

“Alright, come on upstairs” he replied.

I nodded as I followed Alex up the stairs and down a short hallway to his room. He opened the door and smirked at his wall covered in Green Day and Blink-182 posters.

“Still collecting I see” I chuckled.

“Always” Alex answered with a smile.

He lay down on his stomach across his bed and I stood to his side.

“Your full back or a certain spot?” I asked.

“My upper back mostly” he mumbled into the sheets.

I nodded as I pressed my hands against his shoulder blades and started to work my hands along his upper back. Alex sighed as he started to relax. He had extremely soft skin, it felt so nice. I decided to be cheeky and move my hands to the middle of his back and work my hands on there. Alex let out a relaxed groan and I bit my lip slightly. I somehow felt like I was seducing him and that turned me on a lot. I decided to move down lower and circle the palms of my hands on Alex’s lower back.

“Jack” he gasped.

“Mm?” I replied seductively.

Alex moved as he turned around and sat up. He motioned me down and I lent down.

“What is it?” I asked.

Alex ran his hand under my jaw, leaning forward and connecting my lips to his. I rested my hands on his legs as I rubbed them slightly and he moaned. I didn’t pull away as I pushed Alex back down on the bed and straddled his lap. Alex traced his lips down my neck as I moaned and ran my hand down his stomach.

“Jack” Alex gasped again.

“What?” I purred.

“Stop being a tease” he whined.

I smirked as I flipped us over, Alex now straddling me. I kissed along his collarbones as he arched his back slightly.

“Someone like that?” I growled.

Alex ran his hands through my hair as he tugged it gently and I ran my hands along his jeans. I went to undo his belt until he stopped me.

“What’s wrong Lex?” I questioned.

“We shouldn’t rush” he replied.

“If this is about Billie, then we can fix it” I issued.

“No Jack, not that, just, I’ve already had my first time” Alex replied.

“That’s no big deal, my first was with Billie” I answered.

“I guess you’re right” he sighed. “I just want to wait though” he added.

I smiled as I held him close.

“I understand” I replied. “So who was it?” I chuckled.

“Austin” Alex replied quietly.

“No way! Alex, damn” I laughed.

Alex blushed as he slapped me playfully and I smirked.

*Time lapse one hour*

“Lex! I’m going out to get takeaway and some movies, you want anything?” I called.

“Surprise me!” he called from the kitchen.

“I’ll be back soon, taking your car” I issued.

Alex walked out of the kitchen and walked over to me, planting a kiss on my lips.

“Drive safe” he ordered.

I smiled as I grabbed the car keys and walked out of the house, closing the door behind me. I yawned as I unlocked the car and got in as I turned on the ignition and pulled out of the driveway. Suddenly there was a bang and the car stopped abruptly.

“The fuck!” I yelled.

I turned around as I saw a car behind me. I grumbled as I stepped out and was confronted by two men.

“You wrecked my car asshole!” one of them yelled.

“Piss off! You were obviously driving too fast!” I barked.

Suddenly I was thrust against the car and pinned there.

“Let me go!” I roared, spitting in the guy’s face.

“Deal with him” he growled.

I panicked as the other guy approached, cracking his knuckles.

“Help!” I screamed.

Sharp pain hit me as I was punched in the face and kneed in the stomach. I dropped to my knees, gasping for air as I was winded. I was kicked several more times, once in the face, my lip left bleeding.

“Hey! Hey! What the hell are you doing!” a voice yelled as I heard feet thudding against the road.

I turned my head slightly as I saw Austin. I groaned as the guys ran back to their car and sped off.

“Jack! Jack!” Austin screamed, dropping to my side. “Alex!” he roared.

I heard the front door open as Alex gasped.

“Jack!” he exclaimed, running towards me. “What he hell happened?” he asked.

“Some guys were beating the shit out of him” Austin replied.

I groaned as I tried to move, my ribs and stomach throbbing.

“Easy Jack” Alex whispered.

I managed to sit up and I started sobbing as Alex held me close, Austin holding my hand, trying to calm me down.

“I’m here for you Jack” Alex whispered.

*Time lapse two hours*

Alex slipped into bed as he wrapped his arm around me gently.

“How are you feeling?” he questioned.

“Better” I sighed.

I had bruised ribs, black eyes and a busted li[, I’ve had worse I’m sure.

“Will you be alright for tour?” Alex asked.

“Alex, I’m not a wimp” I chuckled, hissing at the pain in my ribs from chuckling.

“I know” he whispered. “You’re so brave” he added.

I ran my and under his chin as I kissed him softly.

“I love you” I whispered.

“I love you too” he replied.

Alex snuggled into my chest and sighed slightly.

“Something wrong?” I asked.

“No, just wish I’d gone with you tonight” he mumbled.

“It’s not your fault Lex” I mumbled.

“Feels like it” Alex whimpered, a tear sliding down his cheek.

I wiped it away as I lifted his chin and looked into his eyes.

“Alex, stop it alright, let’s get some sleep” I ordered, kissing him again.

Alex snuggled into my chest as he drifted off quickly, snoring softly. Whereas I was wide awake.
