Alex’s POV

I yawned as I poured some coffee into a mug. Damn, why am I up so early? We don’t leave until tomorrow morning. I sighed as I took a sip of my coffee. Suddenly two arms slipped around me, I could tell it was Jack.

“Good morning beautiful” Jack cooed.

I smirked as I turned around and kissed him softly, looking into his tired eyes.

“Morning goof ball” I replied.

“Bitch please, I’m Princess Barakat” he spoke in a high pitch voice.

I burst out laughing and covered my mouth so not to wake Zack and Rian up.

“Want a coffee?” I asked.

Jack nodded as I turned around and he slapped my ass, making me scowl as he chuckled and walked out onto the balcony, the cool breeze blowing in. Damn this ever changing British whether. I walked over to Jack and handed him his coffee, sitting beside him.

“Did you sleep ok?” Jack asked.

“Well with you keeping me safe and warm of course I did” I replied.

“You have the cutest sleeping face” Jack chuckled.

I blushed as I took a sip of my coffee. Being in a relationship with Jack doesn’t feel odd at all, we still act the same, it’s as if it just came naturally. I was happier than ever now, I’m glad I finally found out why I was so lonely.

“What you did last night was unbelievable” I chuckled.

“I actually planned to walk out during Therapy and start singing but you had other ideas” Jack laughed.

I smirked as I held my free hand out to him and he took it, giving it a soft squeeze. He’s so loving sometimes.

“What shall we do today?” Jack asked.

“Grab some lunch maybe, go for a walk, go annoy the British folk” I answered.

“Sounds like a plan, how about I take you shopping too?” Jack asked.

“Oh you don’t n-” I was cut off by Jack’s gentle lips against mine.

“But I want to” he whined with a pout.

“Alright Princess Barakat you can treat me to some shopping” I scoffed with a slight snobby wave.

“You snobby bastard” Jack teased.

I whacked him on the chest and he whined.

“Ow, meanie” he cried.

I chuckled as I kissed him softly and rubbed his cheek gently.

“At least I know these kisses are real” I whispered.

“Always will be” Jack mused.

I smiled as I stood up and finished my coffee.

“Get ready Princess, let’s go spend as much time together as possible” I issued.

“I love you” Jack replied.

I blushed as I took his hand in mine.

“I love you too” I answered.

*Time lapse half an hour*

“How long will you guys be out for?” Zack asked.

“We don’t know, why?” I questioned.

“Billie and the guys want to have a farewell, well, end of tour dinner” Zack replied.

“Sounds good to me” Jack mused, looking at me.

I shrugged.

“Why the fuck not?” I asked.

Zack smiled as he started typing away on his phone, he must be texting Billie.

“We’re off” I spoke, taking Jack’s hand.

Zack waved his hand slightly and I rolled my eyes as Jack and I walked out of the room.

“Where should we go first?” I asked.

“Wherever you want, babe” Jack replied.

“Did you just call me babe?” I questioned.

“Hmm, I most certainly did” Jack smirked, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close.

“Jack not in the landing” I chuckled.

Jack grinned as he kissed me lovingly and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I heard chuckling as I pulled away and saw Rian and Zack peering around the corner, cameras in hand.

“Idiots!” I called.

Jack laughed as he pulled me down to the elevators and we got in. I lent against Jack as he stroked my arm. I yawned a little and rubbed my eyes.

“Still tired Lex?” he asked.

“Little bit” I sighed.

“Aw, we will have an early night tonight” Jack cooed.

I smiled as the elevator got to the ground floor and we walked out, hand in hand.

“To the town we go!” Jack yelled, running out the lobby door like a superhero.

I burst out laughing but stopped as I saw people glaring at me like I’d committed a crime. God some British people are so stuck up. I’m just glad I’m not, or maybe I am a little. I smirked as I walked outside and saw Jack standing with his arms open.

“Lex!” he yelled.

“Princess!” I exclaimed.

We slow motion ran to each other and hugged, going into absolute hysterics.

“Come on you, let’s go for a walk then do some shopping” Jack ordered.

I nodded as he wrapped his arm around me and we walked down the street to the park.

*Time lapse two hours*

“Jack, I think we bought too much stuff” I chuckled.

We sat down in a booth at the diner and I shoved all our shopping bags to the side.

“Oh we’ll manage to fit it into our suitcases” Jack replied with a smirk.

I smiled as I looked at the menu sitting at the table. I was hungry as hell, I’m pretty sure Jack was as well. A blonde waitress came up to the table and she smiled.

“Hi” she spoke.

“Hello” I replied.

Her eyes widened slightly when I looked up.

“Holy shit, you’re Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low” she whispered.

“Indeed I am” I mused.

She lent against the table and smiled.

“I love your music” she purred.

I raised an eyebrow and looked at Jack who was frowning.

“That’s nice” I replied. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m here on a day out with my boyfriend” I added, looking at Jack.

“Oh...I’m sorry, well um, can I take your orders?” she mumbled.

We gave her our orders and she walked off to serve more customers.

“She clearly only knows who you are in the band” Jack mused.

I reached across the table and took his hand, squeezing it lightly.

“At least I acknowledge your existence” I whispered.

Jack smiled as he lifted my hand up and kissed it softly.

“You, my dear are the sweetest ever” he mused.

“Just for you” I answered.

Jack blushed slightly and I grinned as he kissed my hand again. Every time I looked into his eyes I just see a glint of happiness and love.

“What are you staring at?” he asked with curiosity.

“Your gorgeous face” I retorted.

Jack blushed furiously and I burst out laughing. I don’t want today to end.

Jack’s POV

“Lex! You ready!” I called.

I heard the roller on the bathroom door open as I turned back to the mirror and saw Alex.

“Well hello gorgeous” I chuckled.

“Hey yourself, sexy” Alex laughed.

I smirked as he walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me.

“You look stunning” he whispered into my ear.

“You look beautiful” I replied, fixing my tie.

Alex reached up towards my tie and kissed my neck softly. I shuddered a little at the touch.

“Thank you love” he answered.

Alex sorted my tie and then spun me around, planting a soft kiss on my lips. We heard someone cough and turned to see Rian at the door.

“Come on lovers, we gotta go” he mused.

I chuckled as Rian walked away and I held my hand out to Jack. He smiled as he took my hand and laced his fingers through mine.

“Did Billie say something about a different restaurant?” Alex asked as we walked out the bedroom.

“I think he did, I’m not sure where though” I answered.

Alex and I met Zack and Rian out on the landing.

“Our cars waiting downstairs, Billie, Mike and Tre said they would catch up with us later” Zack explained.

I nodded as we caught the elevator down to the ground floor and walked into the lobby. I heard Zack and Rian whispering to each other and it made me curious.

“So where are we going?” I questioned.

“It’s a surprise apparently” Rian responded.

“I see” I mused, a little skeptical at the answer.

I somehow sensed they were up to something, but I’m probably just over thinking. I should enjoy tonight while it lasts.

*Time lapse one hour*

“We’re here!” Zack yelled.

We got out of the car as I set my eyes on a river. A river? Where the hell is the restaurant?

“Uh, Zack” I spoke.

“Relax guys, our restaurant is there” Zack replied, pointing his finger.

I turned and Alex gasped as I saw a brightly lit ferry. Zack and Rian started walking and we followed them to the peer. Tre appeared at the gate in a sailor uniform.

“Welcome aboard!” he exclaimed.

I laughed as we walked onto the boat and we were ushered inside.

“This way” Tre issued, walking through the bar and seating area.

We came out to the back of the boat and I saw a table centered in the middle, with two chairs and a candle on the table. Rose petals were scattered around the deck and dimly lit party lights hung from some palm trees. There was gentle music playing and some wine by the table.

“But there’s seven of us” Alex muttered.

“Surprise” Rian whispered.

I raised an eyebrow at them.

“Evening gentlemen, I will be your waiter this evening” Mike spoke as he appeared on deck.
It suddenly hit me.

“You all planned a romantic dinner for Lex and I?” I asked.

“Of course we did” Zack chuckled, putting his hands on our shoulders.

A crackling sounded and I looked above.

“This is your Captain speaking, we will be departing shortly on the River of Love Adventure, please make yourselves comfortable and enjoy” Billie said over the intercom.

Alex snorted and smiled at me.

“Enjoy” Zack and Rian said in unison as they disappeared into the lounge area.

“Tre, get to the kitchen and start cooking” Mike ordered.

Tre nodded as he went below deck and I smirked. Alex and I walked over to the table and I held the chair out for him.

“Thank you” he whispered.

I smiled as I sat across from him and Mike appeared at the table as he opened the bottle of wine. He poured it into glasses and then put it back in the bucket.

“Enjoy it” he mused as he winked and walked away.

I looked at Alex and took his hand and squeezed it gently. I felt the ferry moving and I relaxed a little.

“I can’t believe they did this” Alex issued.

“Me neither, it’s absolutely beautiful” I replied.

Alex bit his lip as he looked away and I squeezed his hand.

“Lex?” I questioned.

“Yeah?” he replied with a whine.

“Babe what’s wrong?” I asked.

Alex looked at me with a few tears in his eyes.

“I’m just going to miss you” he whispered.

“Aw” I replied, kissing his hand gently. “We’ll Skype together” I added.

Alex nodded as I stood up and pulled Alex up with me. ‘Last Night On Earth’ by Green Day started playing and Alex smirked as I wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled him close. He slipped his arms around my neck and we started to slow dance to the music.

“I love you Alex Gaskarth” I whispered.

“I love you too Jack Barakat” he replied.

I smiled as I lent forward and kissed Alex romantically as we danced. I’m going to miss the warmth of his lips against mine, the hugs, the cuddles and these moments. But I’m sure I can last two months, when I see Alex again I’ll love him more than I do now. Where would I be without him?

*Time lapse two hours*

I carried Alex in my arms as we walked off the ferry, he wanted it to happen and I thought it was cute. We had an amazing night, great food and memorable company. I just wanted to get back to the hotel and sleep now. I put Alex down on the peer as he smiled and wrapped his arm around me.

“Have a safe flight! Hopefully we will catch up soon!” Billie called.

“Thank you for everything!” Alex called back.

Billie nodded as Zack, Alex, Rian and I piled into the car again and headed home to the hotel.

“So did you enjoy it?” Rian questioned.

“Yes, thanks guys we’ll never forget it” I answered.

*Time lapse half an hour*
I walked into the room, Alex clinging onto my back. Rian and Zack went off to a bar and said they’d be back later. I closed the door and kicked my shoes off as I walked into the bedroom. Alex slipped off my back and I walked out to the lounge and closed the curtains to the balcony. I yawned as I undid my tie and slipped it off. I walked back in the room and saw Alex snuggled into bed. I took my clothes off and slipped some PJ’s on and slipped into bed beside Alex. I wrapped my arms around him as I pulled him close and nestled into the crook of his neck.

“I’ll miss you” I whispered.

“I’ll miss you too” he whispered back.

I kissed his cheek softly as I pulled the covers up more.

“Goodnight Lex, I love you” I cooed.

“Goodnight Princess Barakat, I love you too” he replied.

I yawned as I heard the gentle snoring of Alex. He was so adorable. I sighed as I closed my eyes, holding Alex close, his warmth making my heart skip. I slowly drifted into a deep sleep. I’m going to hate saying goodbye tomorrow.
