Jack is looking at me with shock and confusion plastered on his face. See? It was a fucking crazy idea. I mean with us always touring and working and shit, how the fuck would I be able to fit in caring for a kid?

"Sorry... I got caught up." I say. "I guess I always have to be caring for someone." I sigh and stand up.

"No, it's fine." Jack says, standing up too. "Um... So.. Want to ask Flyzik?" I look at him wide eyed with surprise. "What?" He asks with a little laugh.

"You... Wouldn't mind?" I ask. He shakes his head. "It'd be nice having someone else around! Everyone else around us is a dick." He jokes. I laugh and hug him.

"You know that was just a crazy thought right? I might not actually want a kid in two hours." I tell him. He shrugs.

"I realize." Jack says. I laugh and run inside.

Tay is still bolted in the back of my head. I still want her back. I miss her. I just wish she wasn't so angry at me for not talking to her. It was because I was fucking upset. We walk in and I feel unsure.

"Jack. What if Flyzik flips?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"He won't flip." Jack says. I sigh. We see Matt. "Hey, Matt. Can we ask you something?"

"Sure." Matt says.

"Well... Alex is feeling a bit lonely and wants to adopt. So... If he did, could she possibly come on tour and stuff?" Matt thinks for a second and smiles.

"Sure! They could help Vinny with merch!" Matt says. That is not what I expected. Okay. That was easy. "Just not now. We're touring. Just think about it before you actually go through with it. See if you actually want to, then you can."

"Really?" I ask. He nods. I smile and hug Jack, thanking him for asking. I sit in the back of the bus with the guys, Greico and Danny. "Danny, Zack's right there! Get him! Get him! Oh... You're dead."

Zack, Danny, Rian and Grieco are playing Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Team Death match. Zack is the fucking master.

"So, Alex." Zack starts, focusing on the screen. "I heard you wanted to adopt a kid?"

"Yeah... I feel kind of lonely."

"Awesome! It'd be nice having a new kid around here!" Danny comments. I smile. Glad they're supporting me.

"We'll all care for them! Just make sure they're in the age range of 11 to 14." Grieco says. We laugh.

"Why?" Rian asks. "They're capable of everything, but as immature as us." Grieco answers. I laugh.

"Fine."

"That'll be so awesome!" Jack cheers. "Honestly, I hate everyone around here." Jack jokes.

"Hey!" Danny says hitting Jack. "Hate you too!"

"I'm kidding!" Jack says.

"I know." Danny says. We laugh and I lean my head on Jack's shoulder. I sigh and yawn. "Tired?"

"Lil' bit." I say. He nods. "Danny, didn't you have to call that girl... um... What was her name?"

"Oh... Yeah." Danny says.

"Dude... Don't end up like me." I say. He cocks his head. "Tay broke up with me for not talking to her."

"SHIT!" Danny yells running out of the back lounge, throwing the remote at me. I hand it to Jack.

"I don't wanna play." I say. Jack nods.

"Why?" Grieco whines.

"Leave him be." Rian says. I laugh and make a pouty face imitating Greico.

"Jerk." Grieco says. I laugh.

"So, yeah... anything else you need to get off your chest?" Zack asks me pausing the game and looking at me.

"Well I told her Caroline um..." I trail off. "You know... and the only way Tay acknowledged it was saying I'm sorry then adding why wouldn't you text me."

"You told her you were upset right?" Rian asks. I nod.

"I told her I was mourning and that I would've texted her when I was done." I say. They giggle and I laugh a little.

"What did she say?" Jack asks.

"She asked when I was planning on finishing." I tell them.

"What did you say?" Greico asks. I laugh and look at them.

"A month." I say. We all stare at each other with blank faces and then burst out laughing. Danny walks back in and we're all laughing our asses off.

"What the hell'd I miss?" Danny asks. We just laugh. By this time we're all laughing at each other for laughing at our conversation. If that made any sense to you.

"I told them about my conversation with Tay." I say wiping my eyes of tears that slipped out while laughing so hard.

"I listened..." Danny trails off. I hit him opening my mouth in offense. "You were standing right there! How could I not listen!"

"Asshole!" I yell.

"I can see why he listened." Jack says. I look at him. "When you hear someone talk it's an instinct to listen! It's not his fault."

"Fine. I'm going to bed." I say. I hop into my bunk and shut my curtain. Three more stops and we're home. Home sweet home.

Back in Baltimore. Home! I head to my house and Jack comes over ten minutes after I get home.

"Alex, want to go adopt?" Jack asks obviously sounding bored out of his mind about being at my house without anything to do. I forgot about my request to adopt.

"Why now? We just finished the tour, my sister is still gone and Tay still hates me." I explain. He shrugs.

"I know you forgot about this." Jack says. I shake my head and give him a slight laugh that indicates I did forget. I sigh.

"Sure, let's go." I say. We hop in the car and sit in silence as we get to the orphanage. We walk into the orphanage and walk up to the lady at the desk.

"Hi." I greet. She looks up and gives me a sweet smile. "I'm-"

"I know you. You're Alex Gaskarth. Lead singer of All Time Low and that's Jack."

"Hi." Jack waves.

"I'm Avril." She says. I smile at her. "So what're you doin' here?" She asks.

"Wanted to adopt." I say. She smiles.

"Any suggested kids?"

"There is this one girl. The past two weeks she's been here she hasn't been treated very nicely. No one talks to her either. Sure you wouldn't mind adopting her, right?"

"Cool, let's go!"
