Jacks POV
We made our way towards ITU where we knew Tom was when we got stopped. “Excuse me! Where do you think you are going young men?”
“We are going to visit my brother”
“Who is your brother?”
“Thomas Gaskarth”
“Sorry only family members are allowed to visit him and only people who are approved my his parents”
“I am his brother. And this is my boyfriend. My mum has allowed Jack to see Tom before”
“Okay fine make your way up” We walked up to ITU where Tom was. He still wasn’t awake yet. Alex sat down on the stool next to Tom’s bed and started to play guitar. That’s when Tom opened his eyes. Just seeing him open his eyes made me so happy. I mean if I was this happy how happy was Alex going to be when he found out. I got a text from Rian.
Hey Jack you and Alex need to come back to school ASAP Zack may have done something stupid and Mrs Smith is looking for you. Rian
That’s when one of the machines connected to Tom started to sound some sort of alarm the nurse hurried over and called the doctor.
“What’s going on” Alex asked panicked
“You two need to wait outside while we deal with your brother”
“Please tell me what is going on with my brother”
“Just step outside and let us deal with your brother”
“NO! Just tell me what is going on with my brother” I dragged Alex out of the room kicking and screaming but it would help his brother. I took him to the waiting area. “Jack gets off me. Let go of me” He yelled while pushing me and doing everything and anything to make me let go of him. When he realized I wouldn’t he just broke down in front of me. “I am sorry” he sobbed “I just want Tom to be okay, I dunno what I would do if he died. I just panicked, I wanted to stay with him>”
“I know, its okay” I told him while stroking his hair. He started to calm down. “We need to go back to school. Rian text me Zacks done something stupid and Mrs Smith is looking for us. We will come back here after school. Then they might have stabilized him”
“Okay fine” He sniffed. I grabbed his hand and we walked back to school where Rian met us.
“What has Zack done now” I asked
“I think he might have given James and Sam something to think about. Anyway you have got to go to Mrs Smith’s office.” We made our way to the office and knocked on the door.
“Come in boys” We opened the door and walked in. “Why did you leave the building during school hours. Alex, Jack gives me a good reason why I shouldn’t give you a punishment for leaving.
“We went to see Tom” Alex told her “Also if you wanted to keep your rule of no violence then it was best that we left after what James and Sam told us”
“What did Sam and James say to make you want to leave school and visit Tom? How is Tom?”
“He has detorated and they told us that it was a shame me and Jack didn’t end up like Tom and at least they got one of us”
“Okay I will call Sam and James into the office but that doesn’t excuse what Zack did to them”
“What did Zack to James and Sam?” Alex asked
“Well we found them with bleeding noses so we assume Zack hit them”
“Well they deserve it. Do they know how Tom is no they don’t? I really love Tom. I want him to survive and they don’t care how he is. They also told us they hope Tom dies.” Alex yelled at her.
