Alex POV
I knew Mark hated us but I didn’t know how much until he tried to kill us. Although he almost killed Tom. I hated him for that. We still didn’t know whether he was going to survive or not. He really deterated at the hospital this afternoon. I would have rather died than Tom dying. I couldn’t handle it if Tom died. I don’t know what I would do without Tom. I honestly loved Tom after Mrs Smith finished talking to us. I and Jack went straight to the hospital to see how Tom was. He still wasn’t responding to anyone. I picked up my guitar and started playing it. I knew Tom enjoyed hearing my play. I stopped after a while and just talked to him about things we did when we were younger. I picked up my guitar and started playing again. Tom then pulled down his oxygen mask.
“Hey Alex that was great.” I was shocked and dropped my guitar as a result. “Sorry little brother I scared you” He said giggling “How long have I been in here?”
“About a week the police will want to speak to you about the crash. The lorry driver was apparently Mark. He did it on purpose according to Sam and James”
“I bet he didn’t have any injuries. He better watch out when I get out of here”
“Sam and James said that it was a shame that we didn’t end up like you but at least they got one of us “
“I am so sorry Alex. I hate it when people are so horrible to you. There is no need for it. I mean why can’t people just leave you two alone and allow you to be happy. I am happy when you are Alex .I hate to see you upset. Don’t worry when I get out of here Mark, James and Sam will all get what’s coming to them.” He spat.
“Tom the police are dealing with it please don’t do anything stupid”
“Okay whatever makes you happy Alex” That’s when the police walked in.
“Can we have a word with Mr Thomas Gaskarth?”
“Yes” Tom slowly sat up ready to speak to them.
“Sorry can you two step outside until the interview is over. It will only take a few minutes” With that I and Jack stepped outside.
