It was soon the day before prom everyone was excited about tomorrow. Thankfully the teachers had given all the year 11 students the day off. I supposed they guessed that all the girls would have “Doctors’ appointments” By that the meant they had hair and nail appointments. I and Jack spent the day together. We eventually got ready and got into Toms car. Tom drove us to the venue. “Give me a ring when it’s finished I will come and pick you up”
“Okay thanks Tom” We walked into the venue holding hands. We knew people would stare but we really didn’t care. Why would we. We had amazing night .At the end there was a slow song. Of course me and Jack got up and danced. It felt wonderful to have him in my arms. At the end of the song I pulled Jacks face towards mine and gave him a soft long kiss. I rang Tom.
“Hi Tom can you come and pick me and Jack up its finished”
“Of course I can I will be 10 minutes” Little did I know that the best night of my life would turn into the worst night. Both I and Jack got into the back of Toms car. I knew something was up as soon as he started driving.
“Tom something’s up you are scaring me. Have you been drinking?” I was panicking now. He only sped up. After a few minutes. He stopped and then started again more calmly. We stopped off at McDonalds. As we were driving back we came to a crossroads. The traffic lights on our side were green. The others were on red. As we were driving through that’s when I saw it. “Tom!” I screamed BANG!... Then it all went black…
