Alex POV
I was lying on Jacks chest with his arms wrapped around my waist. That’s when Tom ran in shouting about something. He soon stopped in his tracks when he saw me and Jack… “Okay so maybe what I have got to say can wait until you’re dressed”
“Maybe you should learn to knock “I yelled flipping him off although I and Jack were stifling giggles. When we had got dressed we went downstairs to see what Tom was so happy about.
“Hey Tom. What are you so existed about?”
“I got into uni to study science”
“Well done which uni?”
“Both Cambridge and Oxford” I then ran up to Tom to give him a hug.
“So you will finally be able to teach just like you always wanted”
“Yeah hopefully. Now all I need is a teaching placement”
“Well why you don’t apply to Brookside. They always have student teachers and over the summer they are having the science labs refurbished. So they are going to have all mod cons”
“Okay I will write them a letter to see if they are taking student teachers. That was a good idea Alex. I think you are the one with the brains “
“Thanks Tom but I am not that clever”
“Alex stop putting yourself down. You are clever I mean how else you would be able to write songs. Also I have heard your band play they are awesome. I mean if one direction can get a record deal so can you. You’re 10 times better than them and better looking”. Just then my mum came home from work.
“Hi Alex, Jack, Tom. So Tom did you get in?”
“Yes to Cambridge and Oxford”
“Well done we will go out for dinner tonight to celebrate I will ask your dad when he gets home. I am so proud of you Thomas” As she said that my dad walked in the door.
“Hi how is everyone?” he asked as he walked into the kitchen.
“Estatic” Tom yelled in joy
“What are you so happy about Tom?”
“I got into Uni”
“Well done which ones?”
“Both Oxford and Cambridge”
“Well done we will have to go out to celebrate”

Jack stopped over “Do you want to go out shopping for prom suits tomorrow, I mean prom is next week” I asked
“Yea sure or we won’t get one” The next morning I woke up early. I also woke Jack up. We walked into town. We got a lot of dirty looks off people. A lot of people around here don’t agree with same sex couples. I and Jack didn’t care what anyone else thought we were happy and that’s all that mattered. No one could bother us while we were this happy. We walked in to the suit shop.
“What can I do for you?” The man asked
“We have got our school prom next week what suits would you suggest?” We tried on a few different suits. I picked a black one with a white shirt and Jack picked a white one with a blue tie.
“Sir is you sure your girlfriend will approve” Jack looked towards me.
“Babe does you like this?” He asked
“You look wonderful in anything babe” I told him. The shop assistant gave us an evil look. We paid the as we were leaving the shop assistant made a comment.
“I can’t believe they actually allow gay couples to go to prom. I can’t believe they allow gay people at all its disgusting and wrong”
“Well we don’t care what people think. We are happy together and that’s all we care about”
“Well its disgusting get out of the shop” We walked out the shop.
“Tom said that he would drive us to prom. Well he can do if you want”
“Yeah why not”
