Haha, Peter Parker. What would've made that scene even better? Using Bruce Wayne. XD C'mon now, that's his fav! But I thought it was cute, though, still, and it is a superhero, so it makes sense. XD And maybe he's used Bruce Wayne countless times before so he couldn't use it now. XD
One logical thing I was questioning, he took his shoes off to walk through the sand! My feet would have fried if I tried that! XD I mean, this is daylight, right? The sun scorching down? Just the only thing I thought of when he took off his shoes to walk through the sand. I mean, I know it's a hassle to walk through with them on, but it makes it a bit more tolerable than burning feet. XD
lol, I'm being really critical, but just giving thoughts that crossed my mind. It's better than just saying great update, right? XD
But yeah, it was a great chapter overall. He's refreshing and that's good. Makes me want to go to a beach myself now though, lol.

And yeah, it's weird how those Future Hearts songs were played but now I'm not hearing anything on the radio with the new record. I guess maybe cause they're in that transition phase? Idk how radio play works lol.
And lol, in an interview they were asked about that song and they were like, "yeah, we totally gave him permission to use that as the title. He asked us and we were like, 'okay.'" XD Like yeah right. Although it was a bit hard to tell whether they were being serious on if they just simply knew him or not. XD

Yeah, it was when they were playing it every day for like two weeks. And I believe in that two weeks they aired their Silent Library episode, so that made me nervous too. Like, girls we're going to watch it and see how cute they are and suddenly they're this "major" fan but only for that reason. But once they fell off MTV's radar I wasn't so nervous anymore until "Something's Gotta Give" was played on Hits1 a few times and then "Missing You". I haven't heard any of the new stuff played yet, but everytime "All Time Low" by Jon Bellion(?) comes on I nearly have a heart attack XD

Oh wow, that long? I wouldn't have personally connected it that far, considering after that it took them a while to get back into that rotation, you know? Plus, like around that time, they also showed bands like Hey Monday and The Maine, and since then they haven't shown either of them. I personally started getting concerned with Future Hearts, and them starting to be played on satellite radio. Like, the next step is just the regular and once they've hit that point... well, we've seen what's happened with Twenty One Pilots and their popularity. I mean, fan base wise and I can understand their true fan base's annoyance with that.
And really? I make the connection with Last Young Renegade, because it kind of has that love/nostalgia type of feel that their past few records have had at different points. Plus like that freedom vibe that pop punk music brings me, if that makes sense, lol. Nice2KnoU is probably second to that, but mainly because it makes me think like they're saying goodbye to Baltimore (especially with the music video) and that makes me sad. :/ Like, it seems like they're saying goodbye to Baltimore and hello to their new life in LA, you know? :///
But I don't really have hope that the rest of the album will sound anything like their old stuff. :/ Especially with the synths and rhythms they've been working with. But who knows? Maybe it actually will.

Honestly I've been dreading this ever since MTV threw "Dear Maria" into their rotation when it came out. I feel like of all the new songs "Nice2knoU" is the one that sounds like them the most. I'm so nervous to hear the rest of the album. I know bands are constantly changing their sound but I just hope it's nothing too drastic. Like, "Life of the Party" is as different as I can handle haha

I'm honestly right there with you. :/ They just released their new song, and the video includes Baltimore, and I can't help but feel it's their way of saying goodbye to it, like, "thanks for everything, but we're moving on now." Like nice to have known you (bringing the title in). So pessimistic but that's just my interpretation. It's really sad.

Excited that you updated this one again. :D I'm excited to see where you take it, and interested in seeing what all happens.
Is it sad if I feel ATL may be headed down this path this story is showing? I hope it doesn't get to that point, though. But I could totally see Jack still being all into it if this were to happen, and Alex feeling different about it. That contrast or feeling each of them have in this seems scarily accurate. So kudos for making that believable.
Great job with the update overall. Can't wait for more! :)

I'm so excited for him to get to Hawaii! I also like how even though Jack couldn't relate to how Alex was feeling, he understood that he needs to get away. Can't wait for more!!
