Walls

The concerts were over, the fans were happy, we were all exhausted and I wanted a drink and I wanted to dance. The day was actually pretty uneventful, I had a little problem with Mike Fuentes when I was teching for them but that’s about it. Speaking of that problem here he comes.
“Hey sexy.” Mike said showing up next to me
He smelt of weed and beer it wasn’t a nice sent.
“Mike don’t you think I went through enough torture before the show?” I asked
“This is torture to you? Wait until I get you in the bedroom.” He said
“I would have to drink more than an elephant’s body weight for that to happen.” I said
Don’t get me wrong Mike was adorable just like Jaime, Tony and, Vic but he just creeps me out a lot and I don’t like it. He was just staring at me when I looked over at him, I got creeped out enough I walked away to go find somewhere else to sit. I ended up just going and laying on top of Avenged Sevenfold’s bus, I walked in it and climbed up to the roof. I pulled my phone out and texted Jimmy
“To: Jim Jim(:
If anyone looks for me I’m on the roof of your bus. Unless it’s Mike Fuentes, don’t tell him where I am. Thanks!”
I texted, I didn’t wait for a reply I just laid there and looked at the stars, they were absolutely beautiful tonight. I just watched them, they didn’t do anything but be pretty but that somehow helped me fall into a deep sleep.
I woke up the next morning frightened for my life until I realized I was in a bed with Baltimore curled up where my knees were bent, I looked around the room and it wasn’t my apartment. I got up and looked down, I was still wearing Alex’s clothes from yesterday. I left the bedroom and walked down the short hallway and into the kitchen where the smell of coffee was coming from, and there standing clad in boxer briefs was Alex.
“Morning.” I said
He jumped and looked at me.
“Good morning. Would you like some coffee?” He asked
“That sounds amazing.” I said
He poured me a cup and I looked in his refrigerator for milk, I poured some into the nasty black coffee and looked at him.
“Sugar is in the cabinet right next to the coffee pot.” He said
I smiled and found the sugar and put some in my coffee to make it taste just right.
“Spoons in the drawer by your hips.” He said
I opened it and pulled a spoon out and joined him at his little kitchen table.
“Cute place you got here.” I said
“It works.” He said
“You’re in a popular band, why not live in a house?” I asked
“Vic and Kellin are too.” He said
I just looked at him
“It’s all I need right now, I’ll get a house when I start a family.” He said
I nodded and sipped my coffee.
“What happened last night?” I asked
“I was looking for you and Jimmy said you here hanging out on the roof of their bus so I went to find you and you were passed out about to roll off of the bus, I got you back inside the bus and looked for Mackenzie so you could go home with her and she was plastered so I took you out to my car and drove you here. I didn’t want to wake you up to get you in your apartment so I just brought you here. I slept on the couch.”He said
“You’re so sweet.” I smiled.
I hear Baltimore whimper looking for me.
“Baltimore.” I said
He stopped and came out and found me.
“He really is the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen.” He said
“He’s my rock right now, he keeps me here.” I said
He nodded.
“Where did you live before you moved here?” He asked
“I lived with my dad.” I said
“You said something the other day about your mom.” He said
“I don’t want to talk about that.” I said
He nodded.
“What about you?” I asked
“I have my mom, dad, and my Lebanese best friend.” He said
“Who’s that?” I asked
“Jack.” He said
“Is he here a lot?” I asked
“Yeah all the time. What about Mackenzie at your place?” He asked
“Well since I just moved in no, she’s not there a lot yet.” I said
He laughed and nodded.
“I should probably get home.” I said
He nodded.
“Let me walk you.” He said
“Put pants on first.” I smiled
“I forgot I was just in my underwear.” He said
I nodded and he got up and walked to his room, I watched him walk away. He had a nice butt I must say.
“What are you smiling at?” Alex asked
I didn’t register what I was saying.
“Your butt.” I blurted out
After I realized what he said I slapped my hand over my mouth and looked up at him.
“I did not just say that.” I said
“Oh but you did.” He smiled
“Oh my god, I did.” I said
“Don’t get all flustered.” He said
“I’m so embarrassed.” I laughed nervously.
“Don’t be.” He said
I stood up and walked to his front door.
“Am I still allowed to walk you home right?” He asked
I nodded and he grabbed Baltimore’s leash and hook it to him. I opened the door and took the leash and Alex followed me out locking his door. I looked at him and smiled, he took my hand in his and we walked down the long hallway.
“Wow you are literally right down the hall.” I said
He smiled at me, I smiled back at his dimples and I unlocked my door with the key that was on top of the frame.
“I’m going to remember that.” He said
I rolled my eyes and Baltimore bolted into the apartment.
“Oh look there is people in here.” I said walking in.
I walked in and Mackenzie and Alex’s friend Jack were passed out in my living room.
“I swear to god if the other two are in my bed.” I said
He laughed.
“I’ll go take a look.” He said
I nodded and worked my way to Jack, I wasn’t going to wake Mackenzie up because she can stay.
“Jack, wake up.” I said
He rolled over and opened his eyes
“Why are you in my house?” He asked
“You’re in my house.” I said
He looked at me like I was an alien and I just stared at him.
“Jack you are in my house.” I said
“Now I remember.” He said
“What?” I asked
“Mackenzie drove here about three thirty in the morning and said I could sleep on the living room floor.” He said
“Are the other two here?” I asked
“Nope, all clear.” Alex said coming back to the living room.
“Jack get up.” I said
“No. I’m comfy.” He said
I laughed.
“You and Mack didn’t do anything right?” I asked
“She’s engaged, I’m not that stupid.” He said
Alex laughed and I smiled at him.
“Fine you can stay just don’t eat my food without asking.” I said
He nodded and rolled back over, I looked at Alex and yawned.
“Still tired?” He asked
I nodded, he took my hand and led me to my bedroom. I climbed into my bed and patted next to me, he climbed up and joined me.
“God your bed is better than mine.” He said
I laughed and turned on the TV.
“What now?” I asked
He shrugged and I pulled my comforter over us and I laid down, I felt him shift and lay down. We both pretty much went back to sleep.
“HOME ALONE! SHE HAS HOME ALONE!” I heard being screamed throughout my apartment
I opened my eyes and tried to get up but there were arms locked around my waist… Wait, Alex and I fell asleep together, I don’t know if this is good or bad. I carefully moved his arms and stood up.
“It’s just Jack.” Alex said
“Why is he screaming about Home Alone?” I asked
“He loves that movie. Now that’s he’s found it he will sit on your couch and watch it.” He said
I looked at the clock it was about five.
“That’s fine, I’ll make you guys’ dinner and we can watch his movie.” I said
“You’ve only just met him and you’re being so nice.” Alex said
“I’ve only just met you and I’ve slept the same bed with you twice.” I said
“I couldn’t help that.” He smiled
I groaned and walked into the living room and Jack was standing there bouncing on the balls of his feet cradling my movie
“Do you want to watch it Jack?” I asked
He nodded, he had extreme bedhead, and I was guessing I did to.
“We’ll watch it while we eat dinner?” I asked
“Okay.” He smiled.
“Where is Mack?” I asked
“She left about three hours ago.” He said
“Have you been awake by yourself for three hours in an apartment you know where nothing is?” I asked
“No, I went back to sleep. I’ve been up for about thirty minutes.” He said
I nodded and walked off to my bathroom to check out my hair, it wasn’t too bad just a little rifled in the back. I walked into my bedroom and Alex had his head under the pillow.
“Alex I’m getting ready to start dinner, it’s not going to be long I’m just making spaghetti.” I said
He shot up into a sitting position before I could turn and leave.
“Pasta?” He asked
I nodded slowly and confused.
He broke out into a big smile and I just walked away into the kitchen.
“Jack is spaghetti okay?” I asked
His head snapped towards me.
“Pasta?” He asked
I nodded the same way I did with Alex, Jack just nodded rapidly. I laughed and began to cook, just as I pulled the bowls down Alex came out of my room, his bedhead was worse than Jacks was.
As we ate we watched Home Alone and Jack was mouthing all of the words, I think he has seen it a few too many times.
“Do you want me to do the dishes?” Alex asked as I got up to take the three empty bowls into the kitchen.
“I’m just going to put them in the dishwasher after I rinse them out a bit.” I said
He nodded but got up and came into the kitchen with me anyways.
“I got it Alex, go watch the movie.” I said
“I’ve seen that movie so many times.” He said lowering his voice so Jack wouldn’t hear him.
I just looked at him
“I’ve known Jack since high school.” He said
“Oh. You can help then.” I said
He smiled at me and I noticed he has spaghetti sauce on his face, I grabbed a paper towel and wet it a bit and I reached up and wiped it off of his face.
“You had some sauce.” I said
“Thanks.” He smiled.
“No problem.” I smiled
I looked over and Jack was looking at us smiling.
“Ryan?” Alex asked
“Yeah?” I asked
“Go on a date with me.” He said
“A what?” I asked
“A date. Will you go on a date with me?” He asked
“Yes.” I said
“Good, I’ll pick you up at five on Friday.” He said
“Okay.” I said
He smiled and I smiled back at him.
What the hell was I going to do? I’ve never been on a date before, I have bad experience with boys.
