Throwing Stones at Glass Houses

Chapter 23

Who would have known school could change in a week. I walked down the halls again alone. I sat, alone. Again, I was alone. I had no one. Alex had turned all of my friends against me. Even Zack wouldn't talk to me. "Hey Zack," I said approaching him at his locker. "Stay the hell away from me Stella," he said slamming his locker and walking away from me. I watched him walk down the hallway. I walked down the hall towards the main enterence to the school. I walked passed Alex's friends. Alex stuck his foot out, tripping me. I went flying and landed on the ground. My binders went everywhere. I had banged my wrist pretty badly. Alex stood there with his friends laughing. "Get lost," Chris said helping me up. Alex and his friends ran out of the school. "Thanks Chris," I said holding my wrist. "No problem. That smart ass kid has been bothering me for as long as I can remember," he said putting my books back in my bag. I had never noticed Chris's accent before, until now. He held my backpack. "Need a ride home," he asked me opening the school door for me. I looked over to see Alex, Rian, Jordan, and Cameron pilling in Jack's car. "I guess so," I said almost tearing up. "Hey, don't cry. You don't need Jack," he said trying to comfort me. "You're right," I said grabbing my bag from him. I walked down the steps of the school. I walked down the side walk not looking back. "Stella," Chris said running behind me. "What," I said looking at him. "Why don't you let me drive you. It's cold," he said. "I think I'm fine Chris. Thanks for offering," I said pulling my hood up. He hugged me and I started heading towards my house again.

Notes

I figured i'd add a few more chapters today! And here they are <3

Comments

So I originally found this on Mibba, but came over to this site once I saw it wasn't finished on there (and seeing you said you had a profile on here in an author's note), to see if you maybe finished it on here...
You didn't, which is a bummer. :( But you did get one more update up on here in comparison to Mibba, so that's something.
I really like what you have of this story, and bummed that you didn't continue/finish it. Especially after reading this last update; I had a feeling what all was between her and Vic was kind of rigged, but wasn't sure. Now... :O
I'm just wondering why Alex hates her so much. I mean, at first I thought it was because he liked her, so he teased her, but then he just started getting awfully harsh and then like almost took advantage of her... like WTF. I also can't believe Jack would be friends with him after seeing him hit his sister, just because he seemed "alright"... that was a bit weird.
But I think you're a really great writer, other than those missing factors. Some of those you were probably leading into explaining more and just didn't get to, which is really unfortunate.
If you ever find yourself wanting to write for this story again, I will be here to read. I also subscribed to it on Mibba too, although this seems to be the most up-to-date version. But regardless of which platform you post on, I will read. :) I think it's a really intriguing plot line and I would love to see how it all ends.
Hoping this comment will maybe inspire you to continue. If not, just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed this and just wanted to show you that people like me are still stumbling across your story. :)
