Alex’s POV
I was sat in the library to get away from everyone and also to try and find what the hell was going on between me and Jack.
I was miles away inside my head when someone came over and sat with me so I looked up and saw Jack.
“This is where you hide.” Jack said and I smiled as I stood up and put the book back and picked another book up and I walked over and sat on Jacks lap and started to read the book.
“I just wanted some space and some peace.” I said quietly as I felt Jack put his hand on my leg.
“You okay?” Jack asked quietly as he nuzzled my hair with his nose and I sighed.
“Yeah, just everyone’s thoughts are really loud at the moment and it’s just getting too much I guess.” I said quietly as I turned the page over in the book.
I was reading something which caught my eyes and I looked up and frowned as I got off Jacks lap and looked at him.
“You died.” I whispered which made Jack frown at me.
“No I didn’t.” Jack said confused.
“Yeah you did, it all makes a tiny bit of sense now.” I said as I gently threw the book at Jack as I turned round and looked at more books.
“Please explain, I’m really confused.” Jack said as he stood up and I put another book in his hand.
“You died Jack, the only way this thing works is when you die and your soul goes to the land of the dead. The only way I brought you back is..” I said but stopped as I took a deep breath and looked at Jack.
“I brought you back when you pretty much died in my arms and I pulled your soul from the dead.” I said quietly as I turned round since it hurt a lot even though Jack was still alive.
I heard Jack walk over and he spun me round gently and he made me look at him.
Jack wiped a tear which had rolled down my cheek and he kissed me softly.
“I’m meant to be dead as well but somehow managed to bring myself back. It makes sense Jack.” I said as I stood back and looked at Jack.
“So I’m technically meant to be dead then? When the hell did this happen as I haven’t even been in a decent fight for ages.” Jack said and I frowned as I thought about it.
“That night when you came back injured, I knew they was meant to find me as soon as you got back but they literally got me just as you was dying. You passing out was you dying.” I said and Jack looked really confused.
“But you healed me, not bring me back.” Jack said and I shook my head.
“No I thought I healed you, but in reality it was me bring you back.” I said and Jack still didn’t seem convinced but before I could explain more someone came into the library.
“We’ll talk more about this when we get back to the dorms.” I said and Jack nodded as he picked the books up and walked ahead of me as I followed him still very confused and focused on what me and Jack was talking about.
“Babe, you have to eat.” Jack said as he walked into the sitting room of the wolf dorm and sat next to me on the floor.
“Food later, I need to focus on this.” I said quietly as I went to pick this book up but Jack moved it away from me which made me look at him.
“You haven’t eaten all day and you are over thinking this right now.” Jack said and I frowned at him.
“But this is who we are Jack, we need to research what we are the best we can so we can understand this and probably the spirit better.” I said and Jack rolled his eyes at me.
“Yes this is who we are now but right now you need to let this go just for a short while so you can focus on yourself.” Jack said.
“But...” I started but Jack kissed me to shut me up.
“No buts, now up and go and get some food.” Jack said and I sighed loudly as I stood up and Jack did the same.
“You’re not my mother.” I said and Jack chuckled.
“Well someone has to be since you have shown you are not capable of putting yourself first when you have got your nose stuck into something.” Jack said and I glared at him.
“Don’t make me say it again Alexander.” Jack said seriously.
“Well if your going down this road then I might as well pull rank and say it’s Prince Alexander to you and I can do whatever the fuck I want to do.” I said and Jack walked over and spun me round and pretty much pushed me towards the kitchen but I wasn’t making it very easy for him.
“Don’t make me throw you over my shoulder because I bloody will.” Jack said seriously and I stopped and turned myself around so I can look at him.
“You don’t get to do that to me.” I said seriously.
“Well I kind of can considering I think of you as my boyfriend before a Prince so you can suck my dick.” Jack said just as Tate walked past.
“Oh please don’t suck his dick here you both have a bedroom.” Tate said.
“I have some class thanks.” I said sarcastically as I went to walk past Jack who pretty much got hold of my arm and before I could do anything I was being put over his shoulder.
“Put me down right now.” I said loudly.
“Not until you have eaten.” Jack said as he walked beside Tate.
“Dude is this necessary?” Tate asked.
“Yes.” Jack said seriously and once we was in the kitchen Jack put me down where I just slapped him round the face which made everyone go quiet.
“Never fucking do that again!” I said seriously as I barged past Jack and went to my spot where not many people know about.
I was lost inside my head when someone sat next to me.
“Fuck off.” I said quietly as I hugged my knees.
“Lex please.” Jack said softly and I glared at him.
“I said fuck off.” I said using compulsion on him which made Jack stand up and walk away from me and I sighed as I went back to some serious over thinking.
I don’t know how long it was but someone else came over and sat with me and I knew by this smell it was Luna.
“Jack is worried sick about you.” Luna said softly as she picked at the grass.
“I don’t really care right now.” I said quietly.
“Jack said that you’ve worked what you and him are then.” Luna said and I just shrugged my shoulders.
“It’s nothing, I mean Jack doesn’t even care so why should I even care about it.” I said as I looked down.
“Jack does care but being a Alpha he tends not to show it that much.” Luna said and I looked at her.
“Really? I would of thought being an alpha would make you interested in everybody’s business. You think I’m allowed to show an interest in people’s lives but I can’t help that I’m interested it’s part of who we are and considering you guys are pretty much dogs, somewhere down the line your curiosity does get the better of you.” I said as I stood up and Luna did the same.
“Alex come home.” Luna said softly and I glared at her.
“Leave me alone.” I said accidentally compelling Luna as I walked off to another spot.
I don’t know how long I had been outside for but I heard someone walk over and before I could protest about them being with me I was being picked up and being carried somewhere.
“I found him.” The person said as the bright light of going indoors blinded for for a couple of seconds.
“Where the fuck was he?” A person asked as I was being put on the sofa.
“Exactly where Jack said he would be.” The person who found me said.
“For fuck sake just let me in.” I heard Jack say sounding really pissed off.
“No, not when your in this mood.” The person who I worked out to be William said seriously.
“He fucking needs me.” Jack said.
“Go and calm down and then you can be here.” William said seriously.
“No, I want him here.” I said quietly and William looked at me.
“You sure because he’s unbearable at the moment.” William said and I looked at Jack and I could see him relax a little but he wasn’t going to relax fully until he was beside me and warming me up.
“I’m sure.” I said quietly and William moved and Jack walked over and sat next to me and I just cuddled into him the best I could to warm myself up.
“Jesus your freezing.” Jack said quietly as he got the blanket and wrapped me in it as he moved me back to his side.
“Can we get you anything Alex?” William asked and I shook my head as I rested my head on Jack’s shoulder.
With that everyone walked out the room and left me and Jack alone.
“I was so worried about you.” Jack whispered as he turned his head and kissed the top of my head.
“I’m sorry.” I sniffed as I moved closer to Jack and hid my face in his neck.
“It’s okay, we found you now.” Jack said quietly as he moved and made me look at him and he smiled softly at me which I returned as Jack kissed me softly which I returned as I moved even closer to him.
“Mind out a second.” Jack said softly and I moved away so Jack could reach for the tv remote and sat back where I cuddled back into his side as Jack turned the tv on and found something for us both to watch.
“I tell you something, it’s bloody strange just slipping into your head and feeling everything what you feel and just seeing the world through your eyes.” Jack said and I couldn’t help but chuckle at this.
“Well it’s safe to say I can now say welcome to my world.” I said and Jack chuckled as I moved and got myself comfy using Jack’s lap as a pillow and he started to mess with my hair.
“It’s definitely something different.” Jack said and I smiled as I watched the film and let my eyes slip shut.

“So basically you brought Jack back from the dead?” Brooke asked as we sat in the vampire common room having a catch up since it’s been a while.
“Yeah, But you aren’t to tell anyone okay. Who knows who will be after us otherwise.” I said and Brooke smiled at me.
“I won’t tell as soul and you know this.” Brooke said and I smiled at her.
“So how are things with you and lover boy?” Brooke asked and I chuckled.
“Things are good, it’s just strange knowing that I could have Jack in my head and I won’t even realize it.” I said and Brooke chuckled.
“And I thought just having a wolf as a boyfriend was bad enough.” Brooke said and I sighed quietly.
“It’s really not as bad as what people think. Yeah they smell bad but you get used to it and yes they have a temper on them but like with Jack for example I know that he could loose his shit and as soon as I walk in the room he changes. It’s a strange thing to explain to someone who doesn’t understand.” I said and Brooke nodded.
“You and Noah good still?” I asked and Brooke smiled widely which meant things was very good between them.
“Just remember what you say to me may not be in private.” I said before Brooke went into great detail about her sex life.
“Don’t worry I won’t tell you anything now.” Brooke said and I smiled as I looked down and thought about something.
“What’s up?” Brooke asked softly and I sighed loudly as I looked at her.
“I’m at dead end trying to find anything out about me and Jack. I mean I could ask William about it but he only says he has limited information about it.” I said and Brooke frowned at me.
“Maybe you need to find someone like you and Jack then.” Brooke said and I rolled my eyes at her.
“How? Because as far as I’m aware the spirit is a dying breed and is becoming more and more rarer as each generation is born. Even if there is more of us they’re more likely to stay hidden because there is nobody around who understands this. I mean there’s probably nobody alive that has something like me and Jack.” I said and Brooke frowned as she nodded.
“Have you researched it?” Brooke asked and I rolled my eyes at her.
“No I’ve had my finger up my ass, yes of course I’ve been trying to research it but there is literally nothing.” I said sarcastically.
“Oh shit.” Brooke said and I frowned at her as I turned round and saw this person walking over.
“Prince Alexander.” The person said and I nodded.
“Yeah that’s me.” I said and the person handed me a envelope and turned round and walked off as I opened the letter.
“Oh yay.” I said sarcastically which made Brooke frown at me.
“Let’s see how Jack copes with being in a room full of royals.” I said as I stood up and got my bag and stuffed the book in my bag.
“I’m confused.” Brooke said.
“I’ve been called to represent my family at this party.” I said and Brooke pulled face.
“Oh how it sucks to be you.” Brooke said and I nodded.
“Tell me about it.” I said as I walked off and went looking for Jack.

“Hey have you seen Jack, it’s urgent.” I said to Tate who was in the sitting room.
“Last I saw of him, he was with William talking about something.” Tate said and I sighed loudly.
“Do you know where they are?” I asked and Tate shrugged his shoulders at me which made me huff loudly as I walked off and went to my dorm.
I was looking for something when someone walked into my room.
“Do you mind, I could be naked here.” I said as I turned round and saw Jack walking into my room shutting the door behind him.
“Yeah but I’m allowed to see you naked so win win here.” Jack said and I smiled at him as Jack walked over and kissed me which I returned.
“Tate said you was looking for me.” Jack said as he stroked my cheek which made me lean into his touch.
“Yeah, I’ve got a thing later and I was wondering if you wanted to join me.” I said and Jack frowned at me.
“When you say thing, what do you mean by that?” Jack said sounding confused which made me chuckle.
“I mean a party that only royals and their mates are invited to.” I said and Jack pulled a face at me.
“Well actually you don’t get a choice in the matter so go find your best suit and try to smell less doggy.” I said and Jack raised a eyebrow at me.
“The smell of dog is something I can’t get rid off. I don’t even know if I own a suit.” Jack said and I smiled at him.
“I do know you have best clothes you wear when we have formal parties here and you’ve got to protect our sorry asses.” I said and Jack sighed loudly still being convinced on going with me.
“Please, you know I don’t beg.” I said and Jack rolled his eyes at me.
“I know you don’t beg but you compel me instead.” Jack said and I smiled at him.
“Then don’t make me do that now.” I said and Jack groaned loudly.
“Fine I’ll go, but the dog smell is not going anywhere and I want something in return.” Jack said and I chuckled as I kissed him.
“Deal.” I said against his lips and kissed him again.
