Jack’s POV


”So Jasey was wondering if she can come over and you two could talk about what happened the other day, since you haven’t been at school for her to talk to you.” Alex said as he sat next to me on the bed.
”Since when did she ask for permission to come round?” I asked and sat up.
”Since you two aren’t talking, Look it’s not my business what goes on between you and my sister but you not talking to her is really getting to her, you’re her only true friend Jack and it is killing her not talking to you.” Alex said and I sighed and looked down.
”She has the right too see you.” I said quietly.
”Look babe don’t take this the wrong way but you are fucking miserable. You don’t go to school, you won’t talk to Jasey, fuck Jack you self harmed last night, you are losing your mind. You need Jasey just as much as you need me.” Alex said and I moved away from him.
”I don’t go to school because I’m terrified that Patrick is going to push me into a classroom and just fucking rape and have his own way with me. You have no idea what it is like to be fucking blind and have somebody take advantage of you and you can’t do nothing but let it happen to you because you know that if you fight you can’t keep that fight up.” I said and got out of bed and walked to the kitchen where I made myself a drink.

I felt a hand on top of mine which made me jump.
“Babe I don’t know what you have been through and what that bastard did to you. But you never have to have someone take advantage of you again. If your that scared about going to school then you can move schools or be homeschooled, because have to much of a brain to be wasted away sitting around here doing fuck all Jack.” Alex said quietly.
I shook my head.
”I don’t want to go back to school Lex, I don’t want to be homeschooled.” I said and looked towards Alex.
”Jack why are you wasting your brains?” Alex asked.
”Because I don’t have any Okay. I’m fucking useless, I can never do the job I want to do because I’m fucking blind. So what’s the point of going to school when nobody would want to hire a useless twat like me.” I spat at Alex and he sighed loudly.
“You are not useless Jack. You prove to me everyday that you are not useless so I never want you to call yourself useless ever again. So what if you can’t do the job you wanted to do, there are other jobs for you to do. Ones which you could enjoy. I never wanted to be a nurse but after spending time on the psych ward I knew that I didn’t want to do what I wanted to do but to help those who needed to be helped.” Alex said softly and I looked at him.
”I had so much I wanted to do and now I can’t do it. Fuck I can’t even see you Lex, the one thing I want more than anything is too see you but I can’t. Why would you want to be with someone like me? You can have someone so much better than me, someone who can see you and make the most of seeing how beautiful you, someone who you don’t have to explain what’s going on the tv. Why would you choose someone like me?” I said slowly having a meltdown because everything was just getting to me.
”Jack baby what is ticking in your head?” Alex asked softly and I shook my head.
”Come and sit down, we’ll talk this out.” Alex said softly and I felt him make me look at him.
”But Whatever you say will not make me love you any less.” Alex said quietly and kissed me.
I sniffed loudly and Alex pulled me into a hug.
”Don’t cry, Come on let’s go and talk I think we need a heart to heart don’t you?” Alex said softly.
”Yeah that would be good.” I sniffed and Alex took me to the sofa.

”You won’t leave me right?” I asked and Alex chuckled and pulled me into his side.
”I would never dream on leaving you.” Alex said and I felt his finger rub against my cheek bone.
”Now tell me what’s going on, don’t say nothing because something is wrong as you’re going batshit on me at the moment.” Alex said and I sighed and looked down.
”After finding out Patrick is back at school I’m finding it really hard to feel safe.” I said quietly.
”And you think hiding here all day and making yourself go batshit isn’t the right answer. You have Jasey to keep an eye on you and she will protect you while you’re at school because you have to be pretty stupid to try and fight her when she’s pissed off and looking after you because she is literally like a mumma bear looking after her cubs.” Alex said and I smiled.
”Jack you need to start talking to Jase again yeah I understand that she has hurt you for not telling you that Patrick was back at school but you need to understand that she was doing it to protect you. She needs her best friend Jack and I know you need Jasey as well.” Alex said and I sighed.
”Come on admit that you miss the crazy bitch.” Alex said and he tickled my sides which made me giggle and squirm next to him.
“Fine I miss her, there you happy now?” I said.
”Yes I’m happy now.” Alex said and kissed the side of my head.
”You going to text her to tell her the good news?” I asked.
”No just yet. I want you to promise me you will never think you are useless, that you’re not good enough for me because you are, because you are Jack. I don’t want you to give up your education because of the scum bag, you are a very clever man Jack and I have so much to learn from you.” Alex said and I looked at him.
”But..” I started but Alex topped me by kissing me and I felt my back on the sofa.
”No buts. I have a present for you, for your birthday.” Alex said and I frowned at him.
”But my birthday isn’t until the end of the week.” I said confused.
”So, I’m going to give you your present now and I think you’ll love it. Oh and by the way Jasey is coming over.” Alex said and brushed his lips over mine and he went to move back but I pulled him back down.
”If your going to kiss me at least kiss me probably.” I whispered and Alex chuckled and he kissed me hard which I returned.
”No, Jasey is stood outside the apartment and I don’t want her hearing what only I get to hear.” Alex said and kissed me again as I lifted my hips up.
”Please?” I said and Alex kissed me again.
”Nope, later I promise.” Alex said quietly and he got off me.
”If Jasey is outside I’m sure she doesn’t want to see my boner now does she?” I said.
”I can see that, but tough we can’t keep her waiting any longer.” Alex said and I heard him walk off.
”Alex.” I said as I sat up.
”Alexander please.” I said and Alex chuckled.
”Go and sort yourself out, I’ll keep Jase busy.” Alex said and I got off the sofa in a huff and sorted myself out.

I walked back out tthere the sitting room and Alex was laughing about something.
”Hey Jack.” I heard Jasey say and I turned my heard towards her.
“Hey Jase.” I said and I could hear Jasey smile.
”So how are you?” Jasey asked.
”I’m better now I’m talking to you now.” I said.
”Come over here and give me a hug.” I said and Jasey giggled and came over and have memories a huge hug which I returned.
”I’ve missed you Jack, so much.” Jasey said quietly.
”I’ve missed you too.” I said and Jasey gave me a squeeze and she let me go.
”So me and Alex thought that we would both give you your birthday present 2 days early.” Jasey said as she caught hold of my hand and dragged me over to where the sofa was and sat me down.
”Yeah Alex told me that already.” I said now really confused.
”Okay I’m confused now.” I said and Alex chuckled.
”So you’ve been moaning about carrying your cane around.” Alex said and I frowned.
”Yeah but I have to put up with the bloody thing and losing it all the time.” I said and I felt something being put on my lap.
”The fuck is this?” I asked confused.
”Have a Feel.” Alex said and I felt it and it felt like a toy of some toy.
”You got me a sex toy, how sweet.” I said and looked at Alex.
”It’s not a sex toy but if you want one then I’ll get you one.” Alex said and Jasey gagged.
”Please guys can we not talk about this.” Jasey said.
”Fine, come here boy.” Alex said and I frowned.
”What is going on?” I asked and I felt something else on my lap.
”Have a Feel.” Jasey said and I did that and it felt like it had fur.
”Is this what I think it is?” I asked as I felt round and I felt a pair of ears.
”You got me a fucking dog?” I asked shocked.
”Everyone put some money towards getting you a dog and training it to be your guide dog.” Alex said.
”But you shouldn’t of done, I could of managed with my cane.” I said completely speechless by this and Jasey chuckled.
”Your family Jack and we heard that you’ve been getting annoyed with your cane and that you get lonely when Alex is working so we all thought that because 18 is a pretty big thing so we thought that getting you Moose you would have a companion and you’ll be able to feel confident on going out in the world.” Jasey said and I looked at her.
”He’s called Moose?” I asked and Alex chuckled.
”Well we had to keep in a secret from you hence why we haven’t been round mams for a while and we sort of gave him the nickname Moose and it kinda stayed, sorry about that one babe.” Alex said and I couldn’t help but chuckle.
”It’s fine, I’m sure Moose will suit him.” I said.
“Hey Lex, can me and Jack have a bit of privacy?” Jasey said and I felt Alex move.
”Yeah that’s fine, need to take moose out anyway so I’ll be about an hour.” Alex said and I looked at him.
”You’ll be fine okay.” Alex said and kissed me which I returned.
”Come Moose.” Alex said and I felt moose head leave my lap and I heard Alex walk towards the door and the door opening and shutting.

”So, Alex has told me that your too scared to go back to school, or even leave the apartment. What the fuck is going on Jack.” Jasey said.
”Maybe you should of fucking told me sooner that Patrick was back then I wouldn’t be too scared to leave the apartment.” I said.
”Jack I thought I was protecting you but it clearly didn’t work in my favor since you’ve been ignoring me for the last 3 days and you’re scared of leaving your home. Jack please I promise you I never meant for you to be that scared that you wouldn’t leave your home.” Jasey said.
”Well I am Jase, I keep on feeling his fucking hands all over me. Even when me and Alex are having sex in my head it’s not Alex that’s touching me but Patrick. I am living in my worst nightmare right now Jasey.” I said and I looked her.
”Jack you need to see a doctor about this. Because it isn’t healthy for you or Lex.” Jasey said carefully.
I looked down and sighed.
”I’m fucking everything up Jase.” I said quietly.
”No your not Jack.” Jasey said and pulled me to her side.
”I am Jase, I can’t sleep at night I keep Alex’s awake. Every time alex touches me I keep on having these flashbacks on how Patrick’s hands touched me. I can’t loose Alex Jase I can’t because if I loose him then I’ll loose you as well. I lose everything and I’ll be on the streets because I can’t go back to mums as she has thrown me out and want nothing to do with me.” I said and started to cry.
”Hey shush, don’t cry please don’t cry Jack. Your not going to lose Alex Okay, Alex fucking loves you and he’s been crushing on you since he was 18 now he has you he is to going to let you go anytime soon. Jack you need to see the doctor about this.” Jasey said.
”I have missed you so much Jase.” I sniffed and I felt Jasey kiss the top of my head.
”I’ve missed you too Jack. Can we forget about it amd be friends again?” Jasey said and I nodded.
”Okay.” I said quietly.
”Shell we watch a film until Lex and Moose come back and I’ll leave you in his hands.” Jasey said and I nodded and lead down resting my head on her lap as she messed with my hair.
”If you want to sleep then you can. I’m not going anywhere until Alex comes back.” Jasey said and I nodded and felt my eyes sleep shut and I fell asleep.
