Jack's POV

"So my mother is wondering since you are pretty much family wether you want to spend the weekend round ours with everybody since we're all going to be home." My best friend Jasey Rae said as we walked out off school.
"I possible can't ruin your weekend with your family." I said and Jasey chuckled.
"Jack, you have been part of my our family since we was both 7 years old. You are definitely family now." Jasey said but I could sense there was another reason why she wanted me round hers for the weekend.
"Spit it out Jasey, what's the real reason why." I said seriously amd Jasey sighed and linked her arm with mine as we headed towards her house.
"Jack I know something is wrong, what's the matter?" Jasey said and I sighed.
"I'm fine okay. Theres nothing wrong so just drop it okay." I said and Jasey didn't want to drop the subject but she did anyway.
"You know I'm always here for you. Just like how your there for me." Jasey said and kissed my cheek.
"I know." I said quietly and I could sense Jasey smiling.

We got to Jasey house and I heard someone walk behind us.
"Jesus Christ Joshua don't sneak up on us like that!" Jasey said and Josh chuckled.
Josh was Jasey younger brother he was 14 years old and he went to a different school to me and Jasey since he had ADHD and some other problems and our school didn't have the funding for him to go to the same school.
Jish didn't say anything but he just laughed and he ran off inside.
Me and Jasey went in and before I could get my senses in gear I had a pair of arms wrapped round me and the life being hugged out of me.
"Jacky how are you doing!" Jasey only sister, Mille, said and I returned her hug and noticed she had grown her hair out.
"I'm doing good thanks, what about you Mills? And have you grown your hair out?" I said and Millie let me go and I did the same.
"That's good, I'm good just busy with deadline that's all. Yeah, what do you think? If it makes it any easier for you it's just past my shoulders and it's now blue." Millie said happily.
"I like the sound of it." I said with a smile.
"Mills, we have to do homework before Wes, Felix, Alex and pops get here." Jasey said.
"Have you got Jack with you Jasey Rae!?" Mrs Gaskarth shouted from the kitchen.
"Yes mam!" Jasey said loudly which made me flinch as I wasn't expecting it.
Jasey chuckled and caught hold of my hand and we went upstairs.

We was all sat downstairs watching a film, well everyone but me. I was sat outside smoking a cigarette what Jasey rolled me since I couldn't do it myself.
I heard the back door open and shut and someone walking over and sat next to me.
I knew who everyone was because they all had their own personal smell and the person next to me was Alex but he smelt a bit different since the last I've been round him.
"How you doing Jack?" Alex asked and he started to smoke his cigarette but it didn't smell like your normal cigarette.
"Wish people would stop asking me that." I said quietly and looked down.
I could feel Alex looking at me.
Alex was going to say something but the back door opened and someone walked out.
"Let's have some Lex." Wes said and I guess Alex passed whatever he was smoking over to Wes.

I got up and went to walk inside but I tripped get something and fell flat on my face.
"Jesus Christ." I said loudly and I heard someone run over.
"You okay Jack?" Alex asked.
"How the fuck am I meant to know?" I snapped and I felt my nose run.
"Come in let's get you inside." Alex said and I felt myself being picked up.
The back door opened.
"Alex what happened?" Jasey asked.
"Someone moved the pot and Jack fell over it." Alex said and I could feel him talk and it was strangely comforting.
"Shit his nose is bleeding and he has a cut on his forehead." Jasey said.
"I've got this Jase, go back spend some time with Millie." Alex said.
"Shit, Jack your cane is broken." Jasey said.
"Its fine. I have some more at home." I said quietly.
"Where is Jack sleeping tonight?" Alex asked.
"He normally has your room, I would have Jack in my room but I habe Mills, Josh needs a room to himself and Wes and Felix are downstairs." Jasey said.
"Would you mind sharing a room with me for He night?" Alex asked.
"I don't mind." I whispered falling asleep.
"Hey, wake up Jack, don't fall asleep on me yet buddy." Alex said and shook me gently which made me open my eyes but it was just like being asleep.
"Jase, you can trust me with him." Alex said and I could feel Jasey eyes on me.
"I'll see you in the morning Jack." Jasey said quietly and kissed my cheek and I felt Alex move and soon the warmth of being inside hit me.
"Come in buddy, lets go to bed." Alex said and I felt him walk up the stairs.

Alex walked into his room and into his bathroom he had in his room and I felt him sit me on the side.
"How you feeling?" Alex asked softly.
"My head hurts and so does my nose." I said and I went to put my hand on my forehead but I felt Alex's hand go on top of mine and he gently pushed it down.
I looked in his direction in a confused way.
Alex chuckled quietly and I felt something being put in my hand.
"It's a tissue, hold it up to your nose, the bleeding is slowing down but you just need to catch the blood which is slowly flowing out your nose." Alex said still softly and it felt comforting.
I held the tissues up to my nose and I heard Alex walk away.
"Alex?" I asked as I didn't know where he had disappeared.
"It's okay, I'm still here. I was looking for my first aid box." Alex said as his voice was getting closer and then it stayed the same which meant he had stopped.
"You go to college right?" I asked and I could sense Alex smiled.
"And you are blind, am I right?" Alex said and I smiled.
"Yes I'm blind, now answer my question." I said and Alex chuckled but I hissed as Alex put something on the cut on my forehead.
"Sorry, have to clean the cut on your forehead. But yes I go to college." Alex said.
"What do you study? I remember when I was little you wanted to be a musician." I said and Alex chuckled.
"I'm studying to be a nurse, but I'm specializing." Alex said and I winced.
"Sorry, I have to get the dry blood off. Can I look at your nose a minute?" Alex said and I nodded and moved the tissues.
"Well your nose has stop bleeding so there's a plus." Alex said and I smiled.
"What do you want to specialize in?" I asked.
"Sounds really stupid but it's something I really enjoy, but I want to be a learning disability nurse." Alex said and he sounded embarrassed when he said it.
"Hey, does that mean you have to look after me because I'm blind and stupid?" I asked and Alex chuckled.
"You're pretty much independent so you won't be needing my help and your not stupid. I've heard how Jase talks about you and you are no where near stupid. I will be helping people like Josh." Alex said and I sense a smile.
"Right that is you done. You are free to run wild." Alex chuckled and I smiled.
"If I went running off I would run into a wall." I said and I could sense Alex smiling at me.
"So do you want the sofa bed or the actual bed? To me the sofa bed is just as comfy as the actual bed." Alex said and I smiled.
"I'm used to sleeping in the bed." I said and looked down.
"Was wondering why my bed never smelt like me." Alex said and I felt him out his hand on my knee.
"I don't care, at least my bed is getting some use when I'm away." Alex said and I smiled a little.
"Come on little one, let's go to bed." Alex said and I felt his hand on my elbow and he guided me of the side and it was then when I worked out he was actually shorter than me.
"Why you calling me little one when you are shorter than me?" I asked and I could feel Alex looking at me confused.
"How do you know?" Alex asked as we walked in the bedroom.
"The way your hand is positioned on my elbow and the fact when you walk close to me your shoulder is lower down to mine." I said.
"The bed is on your right." Alex said quietly.
"I know it is. I've been in your room loads of times." I said and put my hand on the bed and gently lowered myself down on the bed.
I had my clothes I sleep in under the covers and I picked them up and felt my way to the bathroom.

Once I was finished I walked back out and I felt Alex watching me.
"I can feel your eyes burning into my soul." I said as I climbed into the bed.
"How do you know when people are looking at you?" Alex asked.
"Tell you in the morning." I yawned and got comfy in bed.
"It's like midnight, how are you tired?" Alex asked.
"My senses have to work twice as hard as yours, I get tired quickly." I muttered.
Alex chuckled and I heard him get up and walk over and the covers got pulled up me more.
"Okay, do you mind if I put the tv on quietly for me to fall asleep too?" Alex asked quietly.
"No, I normally put it on for background noise as well." I whispered and I heard Alex walked back over to where the sofa was and him pulling the sofa bed.
"Dude what you doing? We was going down to the strip club and hoping to get laid." Wes said loudly as he walked in the room.
"Shush Wes, Jack is in here asleep. Well you and Felix can go and get laid. I'm gay Wes, I don't exactly want to be hit on by a load of girls." Alex said and Wes sighed.
"But Lex, we was going to get shitfaced." Wes whined.
"Wes, fuck off otherwise you'll wake Jack up." Alex said.
"No fun Alexander." Felix said loudly.
"Well you can tell me your sex stories in the morning when you come home." Alex said.
"You don't know what your missing." Wes sang down the stairs and I sensed Alex rolled his eyes.
Alex got up and shut his door and turned the light off and he groaned as he got into bed and soon I heard Harry Potter being put on and with that I fell asleep.
