The Lion and The Lamb

Alex's POV

We walked inside of Drew's flat and it was really nice and we walked in the sitting room and I noticed which one was Drew straight away as he had this manner and he was just staring at Josh the whole time Josh was walking.
I got hold of Jack's hand and held it tight and tried to hide behind him but it didn't work very well.
"Did he really answer the front door in my t shirt?" Drew asked and Jack chuckled as he ran his thumb over my knuckle for a bit of silent support.
"Yeah he did, can I say I didn't want to see his pants either." Jack said and Drew looked at Josh.
"What? It's only Jack and Alex, not like either of them are going to be after me." Josh said and sat on Drew's lap and Jack guided me over to where everyone was sitting and we sat on the floor.
"You okay?" Jack said quietly in my ear and I nodded and looked at him and smiled a half smile at him.
"Just say if it gets too much and we can go okay." Jack said and I nodded and Jack kissed the side of my head which made me smile.
"Babe, get them a beer and I'll give them a joint to share." Drew said and Josh nodded and kissed Drew and he got up and walked to the kitchen.
"Where's Finn and his boy whatever he is." Jack said.
"They are currently fucking in my shower because Finn decided to drink too much and Robbie gave him some fucking strong weed and he can't handle the strong weed so he got up, pass out, Finn said he was going to have a shower and Robbie followed him and that's how they have ended up in my bathroom fucking." Drew said and reached over and gave me and Alex a joint each and Josh came back and gave us a bottle of beer each as well.
"Robbie sounds like my ex." Jack said and I just looked at him.
"Well technically he wasn't your ex, he was your fuck buddy who did that to you." Josh said and waved his hand in the air which got me confused.
"Yeah well were not talking about that son of a bitch, so let's just drop this conversation." Jack said quietly and had some of his beer and he looked at me which made me look down.
"Okay you need to introduce me to that adorable person sitting next to you Jack." Drew said and Jack chuckled and pulled me to his side.
"Drew this is my boyfriend Alex. Alex this is Drew the poor bastard to has to suffer with Josh." Jack said and I smiled and looked at Drew.
"H..Hey." I said quietly with my stutter in full swing because of new people.
"Can we swap boyfriends?" Drew asked and Jack pulled me onto his lap.
"Nope, he's mine." Jack said and I couldn't help but smile at him and Jack kissed me which I returned.
"There's you telling me that Jack wasn't going to settle down." Drew said.
"I said Jack isn't likely to settle down unless it was with the right person and obviously Alex is the right person for Jack. I mean he can keep up with Jacks high demands in sex." Josh said and I just looked down hoping Jack wasn't going to say anything which he didn't which I was thankful for.

I was sat on the sofa, stoned out of my ass watching Jack and Josh mess around when I felt the sofa dip beside me which made me look and saw it was Drew.
"Thought you could do with some company and another beer." Drew said and handed me a beer.
"T..T..Thanks." I said quietly.
"That stutter just makes you even more adorable." Drew said and I looked down.
"So your the Alex that Jack phoned Josh about when you was in hospital and disturbing our romantic evening." Drew said and I nodded.
"I..I..I'm sorry. I..I..I didn't mean for a..a..anyone else to g..g..get involved." I said.
"Hey don't be sorry. We can have another evening like that. The main thing is that you are okay. Come on be honest with me here, you okay?" Drew said and I looked at him and looked down and shook my head.
"I..I..I'm not o..o..okay." I whispered.
"Does Jack know?" Drew asked and I nodded.
"H..He knows e..e..everything. H..H..He gets me to o..o..open up." I said and Drew smiled.
"I won't get you to tell me what's wrong as you are talking to Jack about it. But I know it seems impossible for you right now, but it does get better. What you are feeling does get better and you will get better because I thought exactly the same. I was like I'm not getting better, nobody is going to like me because of my scars or the fact I have paranoia which can lead to psychosis. But I was wrong, I found Josh and to be honest I wouldn't know what I would do if I didn't have that nutter in my life. Yeah you have the good days and the bad days but that the whole point of recovery. I know that you are a strong person Alex and you can do this. You have the full support from me and Josh. We're friends and you can talk to us if you need somebody to talk to." Drew said and I looked at him with a smile.
"T...T..Thanks Drew, t..t..that means a..a..a lot ." I said and Drew smiled and he got up and walked over to Josh and Jack and joined in with whatever they was doing.

Finn and Robbie had come out of the bathroom and Finn was out in the kitchen with Jack, Josh and Drew which left me alone with Robbie, which I didn't like.
I had this horrible feeling about him and I sensed everyone part from Finn also had this horrible feeling.
I was miles away inside my head, sat on the floor this time, when I felt someone sit very close to me which I didn't like so I shuffled away from them a little and looked and saw it was Robbie.
"So your Jacks boyfriend?" Robbie asked.
"Y..Yeah." I said having no idea what way this was going to go.
"Don't know why he's with you, he's a good looking lad, he shouldn't be run down being with someone like you." Robbie said which got to me a bit, so I looked down.
"I know for a fact he doesn't want to be with you, he's just using you for sex and that he feels sorry for you and the fact he had no where to go with his sister." Robbie said and that got to me a little bit more.
"Your a cutter?" Robbie asked.
"Y..Y..Yes I s..s..self h..h..harm." I said and looked at my arms.
"Why do you do that for? For attention, to keep Jack close to you?" Robbie said and I looked at him.
"I..I..It's for n..n..none of those r..r..reasons." I said seriously.
"Do your parents know about that? They would be very ashamed of you if they found out. Hang on they can't be ashamed because their both dead." Robbie said and that really got to me.
"D..D..Don't say a t..t..thing about my p..p..parents." I growled.
"Can't you say anything without stuttering?" Robbie asked.
"I..I..I can't cope m..m..meeting new p..p..people without s..s.stuttering." I said and Robbie moved closer to me but I moved away from him.
"Why don't you just do everyone a favor and just kill yourself. Nobody would miss you and you'll be with your parents again. You'll be doing yourself and everyone else in your life a favor. Because you are a failure and that's all you will ever will be." Robbie said and I stood up and looked at him hard.
"Don't you t...t...think I've been trying to k..k..kill myself! E..E..Everytime I try I f..f..fail! Y..Y..You have n..n..no right to talk about my p..p..parents! I..I..I know I'm a f..f..failure that's why J..J..Jack is better of w..w..without me!" I shouted and I was pulled into someone's chest and I broke down and started to cry.
"Don't you fucking talk to my boyfriend like that! You never ever say anything what you have said to a suicidal person! You have no fucking clue what Alex has been through and if he kills himself because of you then you better get yourself into hiding because I will fucking kill you!" I heard Jack shout.
"Josh take Alex into our room where it's quiet and make sure you don't leave him." I heard Drew say softly and I felt Josh nod.
"Come on buddy, let's go somewhere quiet." Josh said and I nodded.
"You need to get your boyfriend out of here and just fucking dump him Finn. If you think of Alex as a friend then you would do the right thing." I heard Josh say as he guided me to his and Drew's room.

"The bed is behind you." Josh said softly as he gently pushed me towards the bed so my knees hit the bed which made me sit down.
I was still crying and using Jack's shirt I was wearing to wipe my nose in and sniffed loudly.
Josh reached over and got a box of tissues and put them on my lap which made me smile.
"Thanks." I sniffed.
"Its okay, Robbie was completely out of line there." Josh said and I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand since the sleeves on Jacks shirt was covered in snot.
"But he was right though, Jack can do so much better than me. I'm fucked up he can find someone better than me." I sobbed and Josh pulled me to his side.
"What Robbie said is not true okay. Jack fucking loves you, Jack would never lose his shit like he did for somebody he doesn't love. He fucking worships you and when Jack is ever round us and your not with him all he ever does is talk about you. You're his world Alex and I know that Jack is the same to you." Josh said and he kissed the top of my head.
"What happened to your parents?" Josh asked softly and I shook my head.
"I don't want to talk about it." I said quietly.
"It's okay. Why don't you lie down." Josh said and he stood up and pulled he covers back and I climbed into bed.
"Where will you and Drew sleep?" I asked.
"The sofa is comfy enough for us two for the night." Josh said and I saw Jack in the doorway.
"He's all yours." Josh said and he got off the bed and Jack came over.
"Thanks Josh." Jack said and climbed over me and cuddled into my back.
"Finn has gone with that bastard and he said he wanted nothing to do with us." Jack said and I looked down as I liked Finn.
"Well he'll come running back to us when he leaves the bastard." Josh said.
Jack just hummed in agreement.
"I'll leave you two to it the remote is on my side of the bed if you want to watch tv." Josh said and Jack nodded and he started to mess with my hair.
"Thanks Josh." Jack said again.
"No problems buddy, just look after Alex for us." Josh said and Jack pulled me closer to him.
"I will." Jack said and Josh smiled and walked out the room shutting the door behind him.
I rolled over and buried my face with in his chest.
"I'm sorry I let you down Lex. Please forgive me." Jack whispered and I looked at him.
"It's okay." I said quietly and kissed Jack which he returned and when I pulled back I cuddled back into his chest and fell asleep listening to Jacks heart beating and him messing with my hair.
