The Lion and The Lamb

Jack's POV

I walked in the front door after being at work all day to find Alex was listening to his music loudly and was greeted by Ruby in just her pants and Alex follower her in just his pj bottoms.
"Hey babe." Alex said happily which made me frown a little.
"Why is Ruby just in her pants?" I asked and walked over to Alex and he pulled me into a hug and kissed me which I was happy to return.
"Be like you and Lex!" Ruby said happily and spun round but she fell over which made me and Alex chuckle as Alex cuddled into my side resting his head on my shoulder as my hand was on his lower back.
"You better not be like this when your older otherwise that will be awkward." I said and Alex chuckled and walked over to Ruby and picked her up.
"So we was thinking that because I can't cook that well that we could have a takeaway for dinner." Alex said and I sighed.
"Do we even have the money for a takeaway?" I asked and Alex smiled sadly and walked over and caught hold of my hand.
"We have enough if I go without weed for the next 4 weeks." Alex said and I looked at him.
Since his dad dying Alex has relied a lot in weed to chill him out in a way.
"You sure you can go without for that long?" I asked because I knew if Alex didn't have the weed then he would be self harming or whatever he does when he loses the plot.
"Don't tell anyone but dad has a emergency supply for the both of us if we ran out." Alex said and I looked at him and frowned.
"I'll be fine, anyway we will all be fine because dad left all the money to me including the house which we don't have to pay for and the only thing we have to pay is bills. We'll be fine Jack." Alex said and kissed me and I returned it.
"I'm going to have a shower." I said and went upstairs to mine and Alex's room and had a shower and once I was done I got in my pj bottoms and joined Alex and Ruby.

"It's miles to big for her." Alex chuckled as we watched Ruby wonder round with one of my t-shirts on.
"She'll grow into it." I said and cuddled into Alex's side which wasn't like me.
"You okay babe? You never cuddle into my side." Alex said and kissed the top of my head.
"I'm okay, just had a stressful day at work." I said and Alex made me look at him.
"Well when little miss goes to bed I'll sort that out for your if you want." Alex said quietly which made me smile and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Better do." I said quietly and Alex chuckled.
The doorbell went and Alex got up to answer the door.
"Rubes, get me the blanket and the x box control." I said and Ruby looked at me but she grabbed the blanket and came over to me.
"Thanks, now the x box control on the table." I said and Ruby went over to the table and picked the controller off the table and walked over to me just as Alex walked in.
"And you tell me off if I use her as a slave to get me things." Alex said as he sat down being careful of Ruby with the pizza boxes.
"You get her to get your cigarettes. That's a no go Alexander." I playfully scolded him which made Alex look at me out the corner of his eye.
"Right Rubes, here's yours." Alex said and he put the pizza on my lap and Ruby looked at it.
"Just wait because it's going to hot." I said and Ruby pouted and slumped beside me.
"What film everyone?" I asked and looked at Alex.
"You know we don't get a choice in this." Alex said and I rolled my eyes since I knew this was true.
"Princess!" Ruby said and jumped up.
Me and Alex just groaned and I found Ruby's favorite film and out the on as we all ate our pizza and me cuddling up to Alex with Ruby on both our laps.

"So that's the child passed out asleep, now what about us?" Alex asked as he walked from the bathroom and just sat himself on me.
"Netflix and chill?" I asked and Alex smiled and he got off me and went into his locked draw he had which was where his weed was.
"Sounds good to me." I said and put Netflix up and when Alex joined me on the bed and I watched him roll us a joint to share.
"You need to learn how to roll, then I can watch you roll a joint." Alex said and looked at me.
I just lent over and kissed him which Alex returned.
"Your acting strange tonight. I mean you are strange since I'm your boyfriend, but your acting more stranger than normal." Alex said and looked over to me since he had made his way to the window and I got up and joined him.
"Just in a cuddly mood." I said and stood between Alex's legs.
Alex looked at me with something ticking in his head but he couldn't quite find the words what he wanted to say to me.
"You can talk to me, I don't have always be the sensitive one." Alex said and handed me the joint which I took and had my share before handing it back to Alex.
"I know, but honestly I'm fine. Just want cuddles that's all." I said and Alex smiled and lent forward meaning he wanted a kiss so I kissed which which made us both smile.
"Go find a film while I smoke this." Alex said and I nodded and walked back over to the bed and climbed in and looked n Netflix.
About 5 minutes later Alex joined me in bed and I cuddled up to him straight away.
"Am I going to be big spoon tonight?" Alex asked and I chuckled.
"No, I'll let you be little spoon." I said and Alex smiled.
I got comfy and watched the film.
When I look at Alex next he was spaced out watching the film with a twitch on the go which made me chuckle and moved a little and that didn't make Alex move a bit.

When the film was over I looked over to Alex who looked like he was about coming out of his trace.
"Hey stoner." I said and Alex looked at me.
"Fuck you." Alex said quietly.
"Get over here then." I said and Alex chuckled but he moved and cuddled into my side.
"Cuddles." Alex muttered.
I smiled and kissed the top of his head.
"Want to watch another film?" I asked and Alex nodded.
"I'm going to sleep." Alex muttered and turned the bedside lamp off and cuddled back in my side.
"Night Lex." I whispered and kissed the top of his head.
I watched the rest of this film and got comfy and fell asleep.
