The Lion and The Lamb

Alex's POV

"Get up will you, we have to go to school." Jack said and pulled the covers of me.
"I'm not going." I muttered and I felt Jack lie on the bed and cuddle into my back and pulled me closer to him and I felt him kiss the back of my head.
"Babe, you have to go. You've missed loads of school, the head is on the verge of kicking you out of school because you haven't been at school. I don't want you to get kicked out of school and regret it a few years later when we get to go to college. I don't want you to fuck your future up Lex." Jack said and I rolled over to face him.
Jack moved some hair out of my face and kissed the end of my nose.
"I miss him Jack. I miss having him waking me up in the mornings and bringing me a coffee in bed because he knew that I wouldn't get out of bed until it was 5 minutes to leave for school. I miss him sitting on my bed and we have a heart to heart at 3 in the morning. It hurts Jack and after losing my mum I don't know if I can get over this." I sobbed me Jack pulled me into his chest.
"I understand you miss him Alex, but he wouldn't want you to fuck your life up because of this. You're a strong person Alex and yes this will take a lot for you to get over but you'll have me, Rubes, Josh and Finn to support you through this. I am always here if you need to talk." Jack said and maybe me look at him and he kissed me softly whitch I returned.
"Go and have a shower and get dressed while I sort Ruby out." Jack said softly and ran his thumb over my bottom lip.
"Have a shower with me, I don't trust myself." I whispered and Jack smiled and kissed me.
"Does this mean you will go to school?" Jack said and I smiled and nodded.
"Good and I'll be by your side." Jack said quietly and he sat up dragging me with him and he dragged me to the shower.

"Shut up, no way did that happen?" Jack said as he laughed since it was lunch and like normal me, Jack, Josh and Finn was outside smoking like normal. Well I was smoking, listening to Jack's iPod which I stole from him and doing homework.
"Yeah, was literally about to have a good fuck and Drew's room mate walks in and just stared at us both before he slowly walked out backwards shutting the door behind him." Josh said and everyone laughed at Josh's embrassing sex story.
"What about yours Alex? You've got to have some embrassing story about getting laid." Finn chuckled.
"I'm not talking about my sex life." I said writing something down.
"Well if you don't talk then we'll just get Jack to talk, since he likes to boost yours and his sex life." Josh said and I looked at Jack and looked at the others.
"What Jack talks about when I'm not with him is up to him but I'm not talking about it." I said and put my books in my bag and stood up.
"Where you off too?" Jack asked.
"The study center." I said and Jack frowned at me.
"You okay? Want me to come with you?" Jack asked.
"I'm okay, I just need a bit of quiet so I can get this essay done. You can stay here if you want." I said and kissed Jack and went to the study center.

I was miles away listening to Greenday in full swing of doing my maths homework since I gave up with my essay when out the conrer of my eye I saw someone sitting next to me.
I felt a headphone being pulled out of my ear and a kiss being planted in my ear.
"Have I disturbed you?" Jack asked quietly.
"Kind of, but since its you I will allow you to disturb me." I said and looked at Jack and smiled at him which Jack returned and kissed me which I returned.
"So how's the essay going?" Jack asked as he sat closer to me and put his hand on my leg.
"I gave up on the essay and moved to doing maths." I said.
"How does your head not hurt from all this." Jack said and looked at my work.
"Because my brain can take doing loads of work, unlike your brain." I said and Jack looked at me.
"I work in a garage, my brains get used in a different way." Jack said and I chuckled.
"Look I was thinking." Jack said and I looked at him.
"Well that's dangerous, you planning on world domination or something." I said and Jack playfully hit my leg and looked at me with a fake hurt expression.
"Totally planning on the world domination. But we haven't had a proper date yet. So I was thinking that I if I found someone to look at Rubes and I'll take you out somewhere nice with this weeks wages." Jack said and I smiled and put my hand on his cheek.
"We need to think about if we have enough money for the bills and food Jack." I said and Jack turned his head and kissed my hand.
"I've saved up some money for the bills and the food. So you don't have to worry that pretty little head of yours." Jack said and kissed he side of my head.
"Right I have classes so I'll see you later. Don't work that brain too hard." Jack said and stood up and kissed me and I just watched him walk off with a smile on my face.
