Night Drives

Alex's POV

I got to Alaska's dorm and knocked on her door and waited for her to answer.
Turned out Alaska room mate answered the door.
"Who are you?" The girl asked.
"I'm Alex, Alaska brother." I said and the girl nodded and let me in.
"Shes in her room. I dunno what's wrong with her but she's been crying all morning." Her roommate said and I nodded and headed towards Alaska's room.

I knocked on her door and let myself in.
"Hey sis, what's up?" I said softly and walked towards her bed and sat down and Alaska sat up and sniffed.
I got her a tissues and handed it to her and she smiled and wiped her eyes and her nose.
"What's up?" I asked.
"I'm pregnant." She whispered.
"Woah Alaska how did that even happen." I said and Alaska looked at me.
"I was stupid and had sex without a condom." Alaska said.
"I know how babies are made. What I mean how, your always so careful when having sex with people." I said but I knew she was holding something back.
"What you holding back, come on Alaska I know you and I know you know me." I said.
"I don't remember what happened I'd been drinking and gotten high and the next thing I knew I was being.." Alaska said but stopped.
"Don't say it's the r word." I said and Alaska nodded and started to cry again.
I pulled her to my side and kissed the top of her head.
"It's going to be okay. Do you even want the baby?" I said.
"I don't want it. Drew is going to kill me when I tell him and he's going to leave me and I can't live without him Lex. I can't risk throwing away 4 years worth of relationship down the drain because I was fucking stupid." Alaska said and moved away from me.
"If you tell Drew what happened he'll understand." I said.
"If I book an appointment to get rid of it can you come with me? I don't want to go on my own." Alaska said and I smiled and pulled her to my side.
"I'll be by your side." I said quietly and kissed the top of her head.
"Cheers Lex." Alaska said quietly.

After her little breakdown we got some food and watched a film or two and catches up.
"What's new in he land of Alex then?" Alaska asked.
"Me and Jack are together." I said and Alaska smiled.
"Way to go bro. He's definitely a keeper and he's very lucky to be with you." Alaska said and I smiled and looked down and I saw that I had a message from Jack which made me smile even more.
"Is that lover boy?" Alaska asked.
"Yes it is." I said.
"But I scared Alaska, what if I have a complete epic breakdown and he can't cope and he leaves me." I said and looked down my smile fading away.
"Well he would be a twat because he can't be beside you when you mostly want someone by your side. But I get this feeling that he won't be like the others you've been with. I think he's a nice, caring person and will probably do anything to make sure that your happy." Alaska said and the smile soon found it way back to my lips.
"I need to get going, I have to dump Asher, Luna and Aurora of at home and then go round Jacks and s e his nan." I said and Alaska frowned.
"His parents dumped him. But his nan is nice." I said and Alaska nodded.
"You know my number if you need me." I said and I hugged her which Alaska returned.
"Will do, have fun and be safe and wear protection." Alaska said and I chuckled.
"I will." I said and I went back to school.
