Alex's POV

Normal families only have 4 or 5 maybe even 6 kids.
But not mine, I have 11 brothers and sisters ranging from the age of 20 all the way down to 3 years old.
It was safe to say that our household was bloody loud and looks like a giant mess and full of madness but I wouldn't of thought of home in any other way.

"Alex!" My 8 year old brother Willam said loudly as he ran over to me and jumped and I just about managed to catch him.
"Hey Will." I said as I held him close to me.
"Are you home for good now? Your not going back to the hospital?" Will asked and messed with my hoodie.
"Hopefully yeah, I'll be home for a while now. As for the hospital I don't know. All depends on my silly head." I said and Will hugged me.
"Camt wait to tell the others when they come home." Will said happily as we walked inside.
"How come your not a school mister." I said and tickled Willam sides which made him giggle.
"Lex." My youngest brother Kit said as he toddled towards me.
"Hey Kit, did you miss me." I said as I put Willam down and picked Kit up and kissed his cheek.
"Lex." Kit said and wrapped his arms round my neck.
"Right you two, let Alex go upstairs and sort his stuff out and let him have someone me rest and then we can really welcome him home." Mum said and I put Kit down.
"I'm just going to put it all in the wash, get the smell of the hospital off them." I said and looked at mum.
"I'll do that for you sweetie. You go and rest." Mum said and kissed my forehead.
I smiled and went upstairs to my room.
My room tidy for once and my bed was actually made.
I crawled into my bed and just got lost in thought before I fell asleep.

"Alex, hey Alex wake up for me." I heard someone say and I opened my eyes and saw my older sister Alaska who had a smile on her face.
"How you feeling?" Alaska asked softly.
"Better than how I felt 5 months ago." I said quietly.
5 months ago I had a massive mental breakdown where I cut my arms deeply and tried to kill myself which apparently I nearly did.
"You can talk to me if it gets too much, you can even stay with me until you get your head round things." Alaska said and I smiled.
"Come here you." Alaska said and pulled me into a hug which I returned.
"Come on we're having a welcome home party for you. Rian is going to be here as well." Alaska said and I nodded and smiled.
"Let's go downstairs." Alaska said and caught hold of my hand and we went downstairs.

Everyone was winding down and the younger ones was slowly one by one going to bed while I was sat outside with Rian, Asher and Alaska.
"So what's it like to be back?" Asher asked.
"Its nice to be home, but need to get used to all the kids being around." I said and took the bong off Asher and had a hit from it.
"Such role models you three are to your younger siblings." Rian chuckled.
"Well Alex shouldnt of shared it while he was drunk." Asher said.
"Fuck off, your the fucking golden boy. Compared the me and him." Alaska said.
"Asher inside now!" Mum said loudly which made all 4 of us jump and quickly hid the bong up Rian top.
"Shit I stink." Asher said and looked at me for help.
"Swap hoodies." I said and took my hoodie of and swapped it with Asher and he went inside.
"When you coming back to school?" Rian asked.
"Next week, I got let out of the hospital a week early but I need to spend it at home so mum and dad can try and build a bridge and get me to trust them." I said and hit the bong again.
"Like fuck I'll trust them." I said and looked down.
"Lex you can talk to me and Rian. We're here for you." Alaska said quietly.
"I know." I whispered and stood up.
"Dude we still have alcohol to drink." Rian said.
"Tomorrow okay, I'm tired the trip here has tried me out a lot." I said and Rian and Alaska just let me go.
I went up to my room and just turned my tv on and watched crap until the early hours of the morning when I finally fell asleep.
