Dark affairs
Mornings
I storm past the guys and into my bedroom, slip into bed and turn off the lights. I lie in the darkness and try to calm down enough to fall back asleep.
A few minutes later a figure stumbles into the room that I recognise as Jack by his lanky silhouette. He tries to be quiet but runs into a few things in the dark before he finally reaches the bed and sits down to take off his shirt and jeans. Then he lays down beside me but giving me space.
" 'm sorry, Mickey." He mumbles before he turns his back to me and soon his breathing evens out as he falls asleep.
I have no such luck as I'm still agitated and my mind is racing.
A long time later as I'm just about to doze off, I'm disturbed again by another body sliding behind me. Alex.
I'm too tired and past caring so I just shuffle away towards the centre of the bed to give him more room.
"Lemme cuddle" he drowsily murmurs and pulls me back towards him and we're spooning as his arm is lazily draped over my waist.
I just sigh and close my eyes. Whatever!
......
My alarm shocks me out of a deep sleep that I finally managed to fall into. And I reach over another body to slam my hand onto my phone that is on my nightstand.
I'm confused for a second until I remember last night.
I look around realising I'm squeezed in between two bodies that seem dead to the world softly snoring. Jacks arm hangs from the bed as he is half lying on his stomach with his back towards me and Alex,...uh, oh! okay,
Alex still lies behind me with his arm around me but further down something is clearly poking my thigh.
I look back at him and check but he is fast asleep still, so apparently only little Alex is an early riser.
Huh, no pun intended.
Anyways, I'm out of here and I push his arm away and scramble over Jack's body to get out of bed as fast as possible.
I walk to the bathroom and start my morning routine and take a quick shower, then I put on a bit of makeup run my fingers through my curls and I'm done.
I go to the kitchen and quickly slap eggs and bacon into the pan and prepare glasses of orange juice and two Advil for each of the drunkards.
I push the clutter aside with my forearm to make room for the plates and put the bread in the toaster.
Then I try and wake up the boys because I need to talk to them and they don't deserve to sleep in after their behaviour last night anyway.
I enter the bedroom to see them in the exact same place as before, I huff and take Jacks dangling arm and start pulling until he falls over the edge and lands with a thump on the carpet.
The only reaction I get is a groan as he tries to snuggle into the fluffy rug. I sit on his back and start pinching him while he tries to swat me away without opening his eyes.
"Mickey, stop that." He croaks, his voice raspy, "I'm dying here."
"Even more reason to get up, and have a greasy breakfasts to fight the hangover. Up you go, Mister." I say without pity and push him some more for good measure.
As he makes an effort to get up, I climb onto the bed and roll Alex backwards and he falls out the other side. This however wakes him up with a start and he sits up immediately holding his head in his hands in agony.
"Ow, my head hurts, why do you hate me so much, Mickey." His morning voice is sexy but I did already know that.
"I don't hate you, this is just payback for waking me up last night. And be grateful, cause I made you breakfast although none of you deserve it." I shake him because he was about to lie back down.
"I meet you in the kitchen, suckers. And don't even think about going back to sleep." I yell over my shoulder as I leave the room, earning groans from the boys.
I smile and busy myself making coffee for all of us while I wait for them to finally get up.
A few minutes later two very hungover guys shuffle into the kitchen wordlessly and sit down at the breakfast bar to immediately take the tablets I set out for them and pour them down with orange juice.
Jack starts to devour his breakfast whereas Alex looks at his plate in disgust before he pushes it away only nibbling on his dry toast instead.
"If you don't want it , can I have that?" Jack asked pointing to his friends plate with his knife.
"Help yourself." Alex replied sipping his coffee looking pretty pale.
"Your stomach is too weak, Alex." Jack notes. "You sure you don't want it, it would make you feel better?"
"Absolutely, the smell itself is revolting." He sits down his cup. "Mickey, can you please make me some tea?" He pushes out his lip making round eyes.
I groan but turn around and get another mug from the shelf, drop a teabag in it and put the kettle on. "You are the best, love you" He blows me a kiss and a multimillion dollar smile.
I lean back on the counter with my arms crossed and frown at him. "Okay I will have to leave for work soon but I need to talk things over with you. If you're free tonight why don't you guys make dinner here and we can talk when I come home from the park." I order more than suggest.
Jack who has been dumbly staring at his empty plate, snaps back to reality and his head shoots up.
"What are you doing at the park?" He sounds surprised.
I roll my eyes. "I go to the park with Max after work." I answer in a duh voice.
"Who the fuck is Max?" He wonders. "I swear to god, Mickey, if that is this waiter of yours...." he threatens.
I shake my head at his stupidity and bend down to lift up the puppy that has been following me around all morning.
"This is Max, dumbass, Alex got him for me." I explain holding out the puppy to him. Max tries to run in the air excitedly to reach this new guy.
Jacks face lights up at the sight of the new addition to my household and he reaches over to grab the little dog cooing and peppering kisses all over its face, giggling when the puppy starts playfully yapping at him. Then he looks up with his brows furrowed.
"Alex has bought you a dog?" He looks from me to him and back."When? Why does no one ever tell me stuff?" Alex just shrugs his shoulders at Jacks accusing glare.
I can't bite back my sharp remark. "Well maybe because you're piss drunk half of the time and there is no use talking to you." With that I grab the dog from him and point to the junk on my kitchen counter.
"See you for dinner and yeah while you're at it, sort out this mess, will you?"
With that I'm out the door leaving the guys behind with baffled faces .

I took me so long to get this chapter out and it's only meh, well off to the next one.
Aw, you're very welcome! You deserve it! :D
And oh, gotcha. Those are often the most promising ideas, so I'm glad you went for it! :) And that it worked out, sweet. :D
Awesome, I will definitely check it out. I occasionally check out the main stories page once I'm done reading updates, so I'll probably see it. :) But if not, feel free to always let me know in a message when you post it. :)
