Alex's POV

Me and Jack have been back from our holiday for a week and it was time for me to go back to work.
"You sure you want to go back? I mean your still not better yet." Jack said and I walked over to him and wrapped my arms round his neck and Jack hands automatically went to my ass and he pulled me closer to him.
"Yes I want to go back. You can't wrap me up in cotton wool, I'm not a baby." I said.
"I know your not, but I don't want you to rush into this and get yourself run down again. I mean you still don't eat enough as it is." Jack said.
"Half the girls I work with hardly eat Jack, it's not like I'm the only one. Anyway, at the end of the day I know I've got you ridding my ass to make me eat." I said and Jack chuckled.
"I always ride your ass baby." Jack said and kissed me which I returned.
"Well if you want to work, we need to get going otherwise you'll be late." Jack said and playfully slapped my ass which made me smirk.
I kissed Jack again and I let him go and grabbed my bag and said goodbye to Hank and I caught hold of Jack's hand and we went to work.

"Alex! I've missed seeing your face around here." A friend called Page said and pulled me into a hug which i returned.
"Hey Page, I've missed you too." I said because it was true, I did miss seeing the girls no matter how much they complained about stuff.
"Where have you been? And how are you so tanned?" Page asked as I was dragged over to our spot and sat down.
Other than Quinn and Beth, Page was pretty much my only friend here.
"I've been somewhere hot and sunny with the fiancé. And a load of shit went down and I needed some time off." I said and looked down.
"Hold up, fiancé? You telling me that you and Jack are engaged?" Page asked and her hands made their way to her mouth covering it.
"Ain't wearing this ring for no reason bitch." I said with a smile on my face as I showed her the ring.
"Oh my God!" Page said loudly which made all the other girls look over at us.
"You two kept that quiet. How come neither of you are on the cover on some magazine?" Page said.
"Well we've been out the country for the last 2 weeks, hence the tan. Also we've sort of kept it quiet as we just wanted to enjoy it and let Jack tell his family first before we go public about it." I said and Page smiled.
"Are his family nice?" Page asked.
"Yeah, their really nice but I can't say much as it's Jacks privacy and I'm privileged to get enjoy Jacks life outside of work and I'm not saying anything." I said and Page chuckled.
"Right ladies, I need you all dressed and on that stage in 15 minutes." The photographer said.
"Guess I'm the girl with a dick for the day." I said and Page chuckled and we got up and got changed.

Notes

Feel like this story had been abandoned..

But I have been so busy with work and working nights for the last month has likely sucked the life out of me.
My mental health hasn't been the greatest right now but hey I managed to make 1 month clean from self harm :)
but I don't think it will last..

Comments

I don't think so! It's well written, nothing much happens but it doesn't have to be super dramatic all the time. I like it :)

Hey lovely, seems like your stories reflect how you feel. You are definitely not wasting your time if it helps you to express yourself and be assured there are a lot of silent readers out there that enjoy your writing. Stay strong!

I adore your stories. They are always so creative. I have been seeing marked improvement in your writing. Keep chugging along my dear. I will read what you write. Keep doing the best you can.

so I have no idea if you will understand this (since you have dyslexia and all that), but I would like to suggest that you should have a beta to proof read your stories. Because trust me, I think almost all of your plotlines are really creative and good, but since some people aren't aware that you have dyslexia they'd probably assumed you're not that good at writing and stuff. I'm a grammar nazi myself, but since I know about your condition I can bear with it, while other people can't.

I salute you though, you don't let your condition stop you from writing so... keep it up!

You just need a beta to make your stories greater than they already are.
