Life isn't a fashion statement.

Alex's POV

After a whole day if dying from my hangover I thought it was best if I moved from the bed and went to the sitting room.
Jack was sat round the island like he normally does with his laptop, mug of coffee and some toast.
I walked over and cuddled into his side as I lent on him.
"Morning, how you feeling?" Jack asked and kissed the side of my head.
"Looks like I have a 2 day hangover." I said and rested my head in Jacks shoulder as he chuckled.
"You really did go to town in the drinking part didn't you." Jack said and put the top down on his laptop and got off the stool which I sat on and watched Jack make me some coffee and some toast which made me smile.
"I haven't been out for a good binge drinking season since I've been with you. Needed to let my hair down." I said and Jack chuckled.
"Well you certainly did that and now Quinn and Beth know what we really get up too." Jack said.
"Did I really blap about our sex life?" I asked and put my head on the island surface and groaned.
"Yes you did, but I don't mind since it Quinn and Beth." Jack said and walked over putting my coffee and toast in front of me.
"I'm not hungry Jack." I said and avoided his eye.
"Lex, you hardly ate before we went out, which might be the reason why you go drunk as quick as you did and then you didn't eat all day yesterday. You need to eat so then you don't go back into hospital." Jack said and I signed because what he said was true.
I sighed in defeat as i really didnt want a argument with Jack.
I picked some toast go and slowly ate it and Jack smiled and went off cleaning the kitchen which made me smile.

Me and Jack was cuddled in the sofa watching something and making small talk every now and then.
"I was thinking." Jack said and I looked at him.
"That's deadly, planning on taking over the world?" I said and Jack smiled and rolled his eyes at me,
" Not yet, but seriously, I was thinking about going back to the states to see my family over Christmas and new year. Then they can finally meet the person who I'm always talking about." Jack said.
"I don't know, I have never been to the seaside let alone leave the country to a different one." I said and looked down.
"That doesn't matter. I'll look after you." Jack said and kissed the top of my head which made me sigh and nod, agreeing to going to the states.
