Fire in the sky.

Jacks POV

I stayed in wolf form and watched Alex sleep.
He was cuddled into my side and I used my tail to keep him warm since it was cold outside.
Alex quickly sat up and looked round to see where he was.
I nuzzled my nose into his side.
Alex let out a shaky breath and looked at me and smiled and put his hand on my head and made a fuss.
"I'm going to go back to the dorm." Alex said but looked up towards the darkness.
I did the same but I couldn't hear anything.
"Do you hear something? Like your being watched?" Alex asked quietly.
I shifted back into human form and stood up and so did Alex.
"I hear nothing." I said quietly and looked at Alex.
He was looking out to the darkness.
"Show yourself." Alex said softly and 2 wolves showed up.
"Turn back to human." Alex said softly again and they did.

"Why you two hiding in the darkness?" I asked.
"Well you was missing and we thought something happened to you." Luna said and walked towards me and Alex.
I stepped in front of Alex.
"I was with Alex." I said.
"You need to go back to your dorm sir." Seth said.
"What if I don't want to." Alex challenged.
Seth moved forward and Alex moved his arm back.
"Don't touch me. Understand." Alex growled and Seth backed away which wasn't like him.
I looked at Alex.
"Sir I think its best if you go back to your dorm." Seth said.
"And I say different. Don't even think about getting the guards, I can read your mind very easily." Alex growled.
Seth and Luna looked at Alex confused and I was just on the edge waiting to protect Alex.
"Jack make sure Alex gets back to his dorm safely." Seth said and him and Luna went back into the darkness.

"For a quiet person you seriously know how to throw your weight around." I said as me and Alex walked back to his dorm.
"Have to throw my weight around. Get no respect otherwise." He said.
"But people walk all over you everyday." I said confused by this.
"It's all part of the plan." Alex said quietly as we got to his dorm.
"You staying or going?" Alex asked before we reached the stairs to his room.
"I'll stay." I said and Alex smiled.
We got to his room and quietly walked in without waking the guard up.
