Fire in the sky.

Alex's POV

Jack has spent the last 2 days asleep.
I never left his side.

Someone knocked on the door and they walked in.
Like normal I hissed loudly and showed my fangs.
"Chill Lex, its just me." Seth said quietly and I relaxed a little since I could somewhat trust Seth but not that much.
"Fuck Alex you look rough, when did you last feed?" Seth asked and I just hissed at Seth and stayed close to Jack.
"Alex I know you don't trust me but you have look after yourself." Seth said and I just looked at him.
"I'm fine. Jack is more important right now." I said and looked at Jack and messed with his hair.
"Have you even seen Brooke and Noah? They are worried about you and they won't set foot in this dorm because they are scared off us, even after we have said to them we would not hurt them." Seth said and I looked at him.
"I want to make sure Jack is okay." I said quietly.
Seth went to say something but I felt Jacks hand move.

Seth kept his distance but he moved closer towards the bed.
Jacks eyes fluttered opened and he groaned loudly.
"Hey Jack." I said with a huge smile on my face.
"Hey babe." Jack said hoarsely.
Jack looked at Seth and he smiled at Seth.
"You gave us heart failure Jack." Seth said and Jack chuckled.
"Don't play the hero next time." I said quietly and kissed jack.
"What happened?" Jack asked and sat up and I sat on his lap.
"I'll leave you too explain." Seth said and he went to touch me but decided not to touch me.
Seth walked off and I waited until me and Jack as alone before I started to explain what happened.

"So you brought me back to life?" Jack asked confused.
"Yeah. You must of jumped in front of me or whoever and something happened and you died." I said and looked down feeling myself begin to cry.
"I brought you back to life because I can't live without you. You make me feel safe and complete. I feel that my feet are on the ground when I'm round you." I said and sniffed loudly and Jack made me look at him.
"Its okay, I'm not mad at you for bring me back because I would do exactly the same if I was in your shoes." Jack said and kissed me which I returned.
"Don't try to save my life again." I said seriously and Jack looked down.
"He was going to kill you Alex." Jack said.
"I had him under control." I growled and Jack caught hold of my hand.
"Don't get yourself worked up. Come and cuddle and have some sleep as it looks like you haven't slept for ages." Jack said quietly and gently pushed me off him and he rolled onto his side and traced patterns on my cheek.
"Sleep, you've done your part now. Let me protect you while you sleep." Jack said quietly and I nodded and yawned.
I moved closer to Jack and just breathed him in and smiled and I let myself fall asleep.
