Fire in the sky.

Alex's POV

I was walking to lesson when I heard sometimes thoughts which I haven't heard before.
"Hello Alexander haven't seen your pretty face for a while." Some royal said from behind me.
I looked behind me and saw a royal which I hated.
"Ruben. Can say the same to you." I said.
"So, how's the last ever Gaskarth going then?" Ruben asked.
"Fuck off Ruben." I said and turned round but Ruben got hold of my arm and pulled me round to face him.
"Its Prince Ruben or Sir to you. You little reject of a royal." Ruben spat and fire was in his hand.
"And I can say the same to you. I am a royal and I will be treated with the same amount of respect as you. Now I suggest you run along to mummy and daddy like the good little boy you are." I said seriously feeling the whole schools eyes on us.
I saw his arm raising up.
"I suggest you don't. Because I'm not the one who will end up hurt." I said.
But like normal Ruben didn't listen and he was going to set me on fire but instead the fire stayed in his hand and it was burning him.
"What you doing!?" Ruben said loudly and I walked over to him.
"You may think your powerful and all that shit. But just remember that just because you can't see my gift doesn't mean I'm not powerful. I can make your life a living hell so I suggest you don't mess with me Sir." I said and turned round and walked off.

"Alex." I heard Brooke say as I walked to the library.
I looked and saw Brooke, Jack and Noah following me.
"What Brooke, I have to study." I said and found a table and sat down.
"Who was that boy you was having a tiff with in the corridor?" Jack asked.
I looked at him.
"He's not my bit in the side if that's what your thinking. I'm more than happy being with you. The boy is Prince Ruben the asshole." I said.
"Why'd you say that, he looks alright." Noah said and we all looked at him.
"Ruben is a bully and uses his power to belittle everyone. He doesn't like the wolves and he will hurt them." I said and looked at Jack who had a worried looked on his face.
"But he acts all high and mighty but he's a fucking pussy. Jack only has to snarl at him and he'll run." I said a d Jack smiled.
Jack aura had changed and his thoughts was all muddled.
"Jack, the pack will be fine if we warn them about Ruben." I said putting my hand on his knee which made him jump.
"Jack, your going to have to trust me and I'll sort Ruben out if you want." I said and Jack looked at me.
"No. You are not doing anything with him. I have to go, I'll see you later." Jack said and kissed me and he went off.

"Well, Jack don't seem to impressed about darling Ruben." Brooke said.
"Can't you blame him? I mean Ruben hates the wolves and will do anything he can to make sure wolves and vampires don't mix." I said.
"Well that means you and Jack are fucked right away." Noah said.
"No shit Sherlock." Brooke said sarcastically.
" Anyway, I'm going to try and make sure that the bastard doesn't go near the wolves." I said.
"Well he'll be fucking stupid, only you can go and stay with the wolves. Everyone else will probably get their heads ripped off, and they smell how the fuck do you even put up with it." Noah said.
"The wolves aren't that bad. The smell grows on you. Trust me, after wearing Jacks clothes and sleeping in his bed the smell isn't that bad." I said.
"But you do smell of wolf though Alex." Noah said.
"I fuck a wolf, what do you expect?" I said.
Brooke rolled her eyes.
"I need to go to the wolves. Don't wait up as I'll probably stay there as well." I said and got up and made my way to the wolves.

They was all arguing about something but I could hear them.
"We kill the bastard before he kills us." Oliver said.
"I wouldn't suggest that." I said and everyone looked at me.
"And why would you say that?" Seth asked.
I walked over to Jack and kissed his cheek and stood in front of him like normal where Jack put a arm round my waist.
" Because Ruben is a royal like me. You kill him and the vampires won't ever trust you again. You will all be banished from our world. You live your lives the way you do and we live our lives. Anyone who is bonded like me and Jack will have to live life without our mate. Seth you should know what its like when your bonded." I said.
"You never want to leave their side and you always want to protect them." Seth said.
"Exactly. Which I why none of you go near him." I said seriously and looked at Oliver hard.
" You don't go near him Oliver." I said compelling him.
Oliver nodded.
"What do we do then? Just leave him to sturt his stuff round the school, waiting for him to kill us all off?" Someone called Jake said.
"Carry on as normal. At the moment Ruben doesn't know you guys are here. Actually he might of done because you guys smell as you are all aware. But not the point, I'll keep an eye on him and do the best I can to delay him finding out but there's only so much I can do." I said.
"Use your spirit gift." Jake said.
"If Alex uses to much spirit it'll drive him insane. We can't always relie on him to protect us. We have the numbers and at the moment we are vampires, that's if none of you hot headed ones get into a fight and shift then we're fucked." Jack said.
"Fine one to talk." I muttered and I felt Jack glare into the back of my head.
"Look all you need to know is that Ruben is a asshole. His power is fire, like my friend Brooke. Part from Ruben isn't hot headed as Brooke as Jack knows and he'll explain that to you." I said.
"Right guys I think this is enough for the day." Seth said and looked at me and Jack and we both went up to Jacks room.
