Twenty-Nine
I was pretty excited that we weren't leaving for tour until after the holidays. I liked going out for Halloween, and this year would be no different. I was always willing to take Liam and Noelle out while Mom, Dad, and Tom stayed at home to run our haunted house we built every year on our front lawn.
This year, Liam was going out a Indiana Jones. Dad made sure he got everything he needed for his costume. Noelle was dressing up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I was going out a Tinkerbell since I had been dying to do it.
"Jack, what are you doing for Halloween," I asked Jack as I tried on my costume. He was over to hang out with me before we went out to dinner tonight.
"I'm taking Alex out to trick-or-treat. Maybe we can team up since Alex and Noelle are so close and all," Jack offered.
"That's a great idea. What's your costume going to be," I asked him.
"I'm going out as the 10th doctor from Doctor Who," he replied.
"You'll look absolutely dashing," I replied in a British accent.
"You such a goofy girl, but I love you so much," Jack pulled me onto my bed and kissed me deeply.
"Jack," I breathed as he kissed me down my neck, "It's only us with Noelle in the other room. I promised Dad I wouldn't have sex with you when we're alone with her."
"Doesn't mean I can't have some foreplay," he replied before he continued kissing me.
It was Halloween night, Noelle, Liam, and I were dressed and ready to head out to meet up with Jack and Alex. Mom was snapping pictures of us three together, ready to head out to get all the free candy we could carry home.
"Mom you don't need to take our pictures. You get paid to take other people's pictures," I whined after the last picture.
"It's not the same, Stella. When you and Jack have kids of your own you'll understand the feeling of wanting to record every memory," Mom replied as Dad snickered behind her as he and Tom finished up the touches on their face paint. Dad was doing his old skeleton face paint since he was dressed as the Grim Reaper and Tom was painted up as a zombie. Mom was dressed up at a witch and was going to hand out the candy to the trick-or-treaters.
"Well we're heading out now. I'll bring these two home when we're done," I hugged Mom and Dad before I lead Liam and Noelle out the door.
Together, the three of us walked down the road to Jack's house. Noelle held onto my hand and Liam held her other hand. I held onto mine and Noelle's bags and Liam held his. Like any kids, our bags were old pillowcases that would hopefully hold a lot of candy.
When we arrived to the Barakat house, Jack and Alex were on the porch waiting for us. Noelle and I ran off to our Barakat companion, Jack caught me in his arms and Alex welcomed Noelle into a bear hug. Jack and I thought to it was cute with how close Alex and Noelle were. They remind us of when he and I were around their ages.
"You ready to get all the free candy we can carry, Doctor," I asked Jack.
"Of course I am, Tink. let's get going before these three get tired," Jack led the way as we began our raid on our neighbors for their stock of candy.
When we finally got back to our house, Noelle ran into the haunted house to find Mom and Dad. I heard her scream and then squeal with giggles, meaning Dad was tickling her when he caught her in the haunted house.
I went up to my room to change out of my costume and warm up from the cold air of the night. I was sitting up on my window sill, looking out over the neighborhood while I sipped on my soda, when I saw Jack walking up to the house dressed in his usual skinny jeans, t-shirt, and hoodie. I hopped up from my seat and ran downstairs to let Jack in.
"Stella, he has to leave at midnight," Dad said when he knew I was running to greet Jack.
"I know, Dad," I replied as I let Jack in.
I took Jack upstairs and I pushed him onto my bed. I could careless about my parents being downstairs, I wanted to enjoy my boyfriend. I straddled his lap and slammed my lips to his. I couldn't get enough of Jack, not since we went to the carnival. The simple fact he wanted to marry me one day drove me crazy. I wish I was 18 already so I could spend the rest of my life as his wife. I knew we had to wait for that chance, a whole two years at the least, but I'm hoping I can get permission from my dad to let me move in with Jack when he gets his own place instead of waiting until I was 18 to live with him.
"Jack, have you started looking for a place of your own," I asked him as I cuddled with him in my bed.
"I haven't thought about it yet," he replied.
"Maybe we can spend a couple days looking for the perfect place. That way we can find the perfect place for both of us when I can move in with you, we'll have a home that will be ours," I told him.
"That's a great idea. Then after tour, if I have a place of my own, I could move in," he replied.
