Alex's POV

Lily looked so peaceful, I felt bad that I had to wake her. Mark and Danni cleaned up the important stuff but I told them that I'd finish. This involved moving her and Annabelle. I bent down and patted her shoulder. "Wake up."

"Umm...don't take her away...," she babbled before opening her eyes. She smiled as she saw me.

"Hey, we need to clean you up, come on," I began to help her sit, she swiftly swooped Annabelle into her arms.

"Do you think she's hungry yet?" she asked as we entered the bathroom. "Before I fell asleep Danni and Mark took me through breast feeding her, I think I'll-"

"Don't know but I'm hungry," I winked, she snorted and sighed.

"Stop it," Lily moaned.

Well that little joke didn't go down the way I'd planned. "Sorry. Umm I'm gonna need you to take your clothes off."

Lily widened her eyes as if what I'd said was shocking. "Isn't that how this happened," she smirked a little as she motioned towards Annabelle.

"Babe, I'm trying to clean up not give you some bed action." She giggled. I smiled, I wasn't sure if I would see her back to herself so soon after giving birth.

"Bed action? Is that what it's called now?" she asked as she gently placed Annabelle down on the toilet, slipping out of her messy clothes and shoving them at me and went back to attending to our daughter. "Chuck them out if it's easier."

"Y-yea I will..." I trailed off as I just stared at her walk out of the bathroom, naked. I don't think she even cared if anyone else saw. Well let's hope nobody else does... I shrugged and returned to the living room.

I quickly grabbed a bin bag, chucked all the dirty sheets and towels in. Just as I opened our wheelie bin Jack caught my attention, I'd totally forgotten he was here. "Hey, you're a dad," he patted my shoulder and pulled me into his embrace. "Congrats man."

"Where's Lily?" Sophie suddenly shouted as she rushed up the driveway.

"They're upstairs," I said stepping away from Jack. "Umm Sophie, if she's not dressed could you cover her up?"

Sophie nodded, seemingly absentmindedly as she barged passed.

"Jack, she must've been in labour before her water broke. If that's even possible, Annabelle seemed to come really quickly."

"Or she was getting bored inside of Lily, so literally slid right out," he chuckled.

"True, there's so much a baby can do in there."

"How are you?" Jack asked, nearly cutting me off.

"Good, she's gorgeous. Lily's double. She doesn't seem to have much of my looks...yet."

Jack laughed, "so she's safe from bushybrow-itus."

"For now." I laughed.
