"Thanks you sexy mother fuckers!" Alex screamed.

"I love you New York!!" Jack screamed as he walked off stage.

The guys walked off stage as the crowd screamed. Damn, it was a good show. Megan was standing on the side of the stage and spent the whole show watching the crowd's reaction to every little thing the guys did on stage.

Meg had no idea where to go. Alex told her he'd call but she figured it'd be a while. But she knew Jack would be looking for her, so she just waited where she stood. Jack talked to her for a few seconds before the show and for like one minute while Alex was doing 'Therapy'.

"Hey!" Jack yelled at Megan, which made her jump. He was like a ninja, he snuck up right behind Megan without her even knowing.

"Holy shit!" Meg screamed and turned around.

Jack, of course, was laughing and then finally calmed down. "You ok?"

Meg tried to act mad, but failed. She started laughing and joked, "You fucking asshole!" and playfully hit Jack in the arm.

Jack was started smiling now that he knew that Meg had a sense of humor like him. "How'd you like the show? Did you orgasm at the meer sight of our sexyness?"

"Ha, sure. Multiple times actually." Meg said sarcastically.

Jack was so happy that she was playing along and that Meg stayed to actually talk to him. "Well I am pretty damn sexy. So what are..."

"Sorry hold on a sec. Someone's calling me." Megan apologized and then looked at her phone to see who was trying to reach her. All her screen said was:

UNKNOWN CALLER

and Meg knew it had to be Alex.

"Hello?" Meg answered

"Hi. Is this Meg?" asked a voice on the other end.

"Yeah. Who is this?" Meg asked, even though she already knew it was Alex.

"Oh it's Alex. You still up for drinks?"

"Of course." Then Megan noticed the singer standing about 30 feet away from her. "Hey turn around."

"Wait wh-" Alex just hung up the phone and ran right for her and Jack when he saw them.

"Hey." Meg laughed.

"What are you doing back here? Jeez security sucks. How'd you slip past?" Alex was honestly confused because he didn't notice her on the side while he was playing and he didn't enter or leave from that side.

Meg just held up the makeshift backstage pass. "I let her stay back here. How do you know Meg?" Jack said with that smile that hasn't left his face since he met Megan

"She's Tay's cousin. I was the one who got her tickets and shit like that." Alex replied. "Wait. Meg's the girl you wouldn't shut up about in the dressing room?" He asked. Alex turned to Megan, "Oh my God. He wouldn't shut up about you. He was saying-"

Jack quickly cutoff his friend, who right now was being an asshole. "Shut the fuck up Alex! You're really being a dick right now."

"Aw Jack, no. I kinda think it's cute that you like me." Meg said. It was obvious that he liked her and she wasn't gonna say anything. But after Alex started making Jack feel embarrassed she thought she should make Jack feel a little better.

Jack was blushing a lot and was as red at a tomato. "Really?" She thought he was cute and Jack didn't know if that was a good thing. There were two types of cute; puppy-cute and attractive-cute. Jack just prayed Meg didn't think he was puppy-cute.

"Yeah. Of course. You're adorable when you're nervous." Meg said, not realizing that she was making Jack want to crawl into a corner.

'Fuck. I'm puppy-cute,' Jack thought. "Well then I must be really sexy right now." Jack joked, trying to make himself feel better.

"Dude chill out. Are you coming with us?" Alex asked his best friend who was sweating bullets at this point.

"Wait what? Where are you two going?" Jack asked confused.

"I was gonna show you guys around the city. You know, go to a couple bars," Meg explained with a smile Jack thought was adorable. Then Megan turned to Alex, "You didn't tell him?"

Alex just laughed. "I did. I told all of the guys. Apparently Jack-o over here was too busy running his mouth about you that he didn't even hear me."

"Oh my fucking god, Alex! I think we need to talk!" Jack said as he pulled his friend to the side without waiting for an answer.

Alex was giggling. "What?" he asked trying to hide his smirk.

"What the fuck are you doing? You're blowing it for me!" Jack scolded.

Alex just had to laugh. "Dude, I'm not the one making a fool of myself."

"I am NOT making a fool out of myself!" Jack protested.

"Yeah you are, bro. What's with you? I've never seen you like this." Alex was still mocking his skunk-haired friend.

"You're SUCH a douche! I'm not acting different," Jack lied. He was trying really hard to impress Meg, he knew she was definitely different from other girls. He knew it when he first saw her standing by herself. The first chance he got Jack went over to that really pretty brunette girl with a smile on her face. But when he finally got the chance to meet that beautiful girl, she had tears streaming down her face. Not happy tears like some of the girls had when he met them, they were sad tears, filled with pain and heartache. "Just don't make me sound like an idiot!" Jack spat as he walked back to Meg.

Meg heard everything the guys were saying. They were horrible at whispering and weren't that far away. She was laughing at their conversation, but when she saw Jack walking back she tried to stare blankly at the sound boards.

"Hey sorry about Alex being a dick." Jack apologized.

"Ha no it's fine. It's kinda funny." Megan admitted. "Hey were you really talking about me?" Meg asked curiously.

'God damnit! I'm gonna kill Alex!' Jack thought. He was beet red again, "Uh..." Jack sighed, "Yeah. God I hope you don't think I'm creepy."

Meg had a grin on her face, "No of course not! I think it's cute. Like a little school girl crush." she was really flattered that Jack liked her, but she was a little cautious about jumping into a relationship right after her break up.

'Fuck! Now she's comparing me to little girls! Fuck! Just act cool!' Jack's head was spinning, what was it about Meg that made him so nervous? "Do you-"

Once again, right as Jack was going to say something he was cutoff by Alex, "Hey, you guys ready to go?"

"Yeah sure!" Meg said excitedly and then walked over to the guys who were in a group near the door.

"God damnit Alex! I was about to ask Meg out!" Jack yelled in a whispered tone.

"Chill. She's coming with us! You can still make yourself look like an idiot, just now all of us get to laugh at you." Alex mocked.

"I fucking hate you!" Jack whisper-yelled and then joined the rest of the group.

"Alright, this is Meg. She's Tay's cousin and was nice enough to show us around the city tonight." Alex introduced Meg with a smile. All the guys said hello like gentlemen, that won't last long.

"But no one gets to hit on her! Jack's in love with her!" Matt shouted.

"Fuck you! You're making her feel uncomfortable!" Jack yelled. He turned to Meg and had to apologize once again, "Sorry my friends are such fucking assholes."

"Ha let's go. There's a really fucking awesome bar around the corner." Meg said with a laugh. She walked towards the door with Jack right at her heels.

Meg and Jack were standing next to each other in the front of the group and everyone else was behind them. Jack was babbling about something having to deal with dinosaurs. Meg definitely thought he was cute, even though he had a big nose, it fit Jack's face. She could tell he was nervous, and even though she tried to deny it, she liked him a little, too.

At this point Jack was sweating. A lot. He was babbling and he could hear the rest of the guys laughing at him. But Jack didn't care, he really liked Meg even though he just met her. He just didn't want to mess it up with her and was trying his hardest to impress her. Somehow trying to impress Meg meant a conversation about dinosaurs. 'Be cool. Don't mess up. Act normal.' was all that was running through Jack's mind.

Meg could tell that Jack was nervous and freaking out. So to calm him down she extended her hand and grabbed Jack's. It shocked Jack, but he got used to it and calmed down a little.

'Oh my fucking god!!' Jack thought when Meg reached for his hand. On the outside Jack was cool and collected but on the inside Jack was over the moon.
