You've got to hold on.

Alex's POV
I knew I was going to be late for school which would result in me getting shouted at.
But if only the teachers knew what I had to put up with.
I was just your normal 14 year old boy who lived with his parents like a normal happy family.
But it all changed one day when I walked in on my parents fighting about my father cheating on my mother. But she couldn't say much as she was doing exactly the same behind my fathers back.
My father packed his bags and was gone the following day.
He didn't even bother leaving a note or saying goodbye.
My mother sold the house and moved in with her new boy toy.
I went as well but I didn't get along with him as he wanted to control me like I was his kid enough though I spent most of my time as far as I could get away from him, which made my relationship with my mother turn sour.
So after I came out as being gay I packed my bags and left.
For the last 2 years I have been surviving on the streets while at the same time trying to juggle school work and surviving the coldest winter the state has had in over 50 years.
So my life was far from being easy like everyone else's in this shithole called school.
this is so sweet
