“Doctor!” I whisper/yelled, peeking around the corner.
He told me to stay still, but I was getting worried. Where could he have gone?
The Doctor still hasn’t explained what he is, and every time I bring it up, he gets very defensive.
I don’t understand what’s so hard about just telling me what he is. I’ve already seen so much impossible things, I doubt I wouldn’t believe him. We were on a different planet, a very quiet one. Luckily it had air, and Gravity, so we didn’t drift off or die from lack of oxygen.
The Doctor is a funny man from what I’ve seen so far. Funny, but so very clever. But when you make him mad, he seems to turn into a different man. I just want to know what he is. Where he came from.
The Doctor came from behind the corner, running. “Jack I told you to stay still! No time for that. RUN!”
That has become a really over used line for him. ‘run’. So he gets into allot of trouble, but always manages to save a race with just a screwdriver, or something he built.
Behind him, was a giant slimy looking creature. It stood tall, way taller then me, and looked like a giant spider, mixed with a snake. “Oh boy..” I mumbled, bolting towards the doctor. “What the hell is that!?”
He opened his Tardis door, just in time before the creature got to us. “I don’t know...But it was just BEAUTIFUL!” He looked over at me with a giant smile.
“Doctor? It looked li-”
“Now now Jack. Have you ever though about what other races think of you? So don’t be mean. That thing out there, I encountered it while messing around in a little alley. I’m convinced that it’s taking living things, and killing them.”
I chuckled. “Doctor you never fail to amaze me sometimes. So where do we have to go to investigate it?” One thing I learned from The Doctor, is that he never leaves anyone behind. If there is trouble on a planet, he won’t jump in his box and leave. He always tries his best to save it.
“To the Alley, but at morning. Of course I don’t have the patience for that...” He hit a few buttons on the Tardis, that I still don’t understand, and the ship started shaking as usual, then came to an abrupt stop. When we stepped out the doors, it was daylight, and we appeared in a little alley between two old buildings. “Doctor what is that?” I pointed to a large object, moving.
“What is wh- Jack.” His voice suddenly tuned to a low whisper. “Don’t make loud noises...”
He scanned the object, and cursed under his breath. “Into the Tardis, quickly.” I turned around, but hit a metal pipe making a loud noise. And whatever that thing was, it was waking up, and it was HUGE.
“Doctor what the hell is that!!?” He shrugged. “ I don’t know, but it’s a beauty! But it’s best that we RUN!”
The creature stood straight up on it hind legs, showing it’s really ugly face. It looked twisted, like someone just threw some genes together and left. “Doctor..In what way is that beautiful?!” I caught up with him, and we made into the Tardis. “It’s a new species. At least one I’ve never seen before.” I rolled my eyes. “And that makes it beautiful?”
The doctor looked up at me, his eyes shining. “Yes Jack. It does. I’ve seen alot of things in my time. So it’s rare when I see things I’ve never seen before. Make sense?” I nodded to him.
“You’re crazy...” I laughed.
“Says the one who jumped in a blue box with a mad man.”
“Whatever.” I chuckled.

Me and Jack really got along well. It was as if we were the same person sometimes, other than my cleverness. He very rarely shows his clever side, which he should more often. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t cute.
Jack asked me if we could go to the past. So I took him to the prehistoric days on earth.
Which he always talked about dinosaurs and how he thought they were kind of cool.
So I thought he’d like to actually see them for himself.
“Doctor..” He gasped. They’re huge...And in person they just look..”
“Impossible.” I smirked, finishing his sentence. He bit his lip looking at me.
“Doctor everything about you is impossible. What are you? And don’t avoid the question this time, we do have time for this.” He questioned. I knew I’d have to tell him at some point but right now, was not the time. He wouldn’t understand.
I heard one of the creatures roar, saying it’s name was Jamie.
“ Oh yes, hello Jamie.” I nodded at the giant long neck dinosaur.
“Doctor, who the fuck is Jamie?” He looked at me like I was crazy. “I speak dinosaur. That one is named Jamie.” Jamie roared again, making a purring noise.
“He does have some nice hair.” I said referring to the comment it just said about Jack’s hair.
Jack shook his head in disbelief. “You’re kidding me right?”
I chuckled. “Of course not. I’ve lived almost a thousand years with a time machine Jack. You just pick up a couple of things an the way.” I winked at him.
He looked down his cheeks getting a deep red. “I guess.” At least the subject wasn’t hard to change. But I knew someday I’d have to tell him what I am.
Why I’m here, and why I’m always there to save the world.
Jamie roared, telling me I was totally into Jack. I realized I was staring at him, noticing every single detail he had to offer. And he was beautiful.
“Shut up Jamie. Go eat your grass.” I chuckled, lying back into the grass. Jack joined me, staring at me. “Doctor. You are the most interesting thing I’ve ever met in my life.”
“I could say the same for you...” I mumbled under my breath.
This boy gave me so many different feelings. Just the other day he smiled at me, and my stomach felt so odd. It felt like I was going to throw up, but in a good way. It kind of tickled.
His eyes stared into mine, and before I did anything stupid, I jumped up. "Very well then. I have GOT to show you the little long neck babies. Jamie won't mind if we play with them." Jamie roared in response, saying it was okay. "See? She likes us."
Jack laughed again. "Yea, c'mon. I'd love to see them."
We got up and walked over to Jamies nest. She was very welcoming, and so were the little babies. She had four of them, and they all instantly charged for Jack when we made it to the nest. Seeing them lick on his face, and jump around him was to cute. I smiled wide, glad I could make this boy have an amazing life, and see amazing things.
