Forgive me. Please?

Jacks POV

Since Archie was bugging Isla me and Alex was making the most of the quiet while it lasted.
Alex was cuddled into my side messing with my hand which was over his shoulder.
"You think its wise leaving them two on their own in the sitting room?" I asked.
Alex chuckled and looked at me.
"Probably not. But I'm enjoying cuddles to much to give a shit." He said.
I smiled and kissed his forehead.
"Think we should tell them about us?" I asked.
"Yeah. Later. Too busy enjoying this." Alex muttered and threw his leg over my waist and looked pretty comfy.
" Comfy by any chance?" I chuckled.
"Very." Alex muttered and we was both slowly falling asleep.
Until we was jumped on by Isla and Archie.

"What you doing?" Isla asked.
"Having cuddles." I said.
"why?" Archie asked and climbed onto Alex's hip.
"That's what we need to talk to you two about." Alex said and rolled onto his back and sat up.
"Isla come with me." I said and got out of bed which made Alex groan quietly.
Isla stood on the bed and I picked her up and walked to the sitting room.

I sat on the sofa with Isla in my lap.
"Are you and Alex together?" She asked and messed with my hoodie.
"Yeah. Is that okay with you?" I said and she looked at me.
"Does this mean you won't have much to do with me anymore?" She asked and looked down.
I put my finger under her chin and made her look at me.
"I wouldn't be without you. Things are still going to be the same." I said.
"Promise?" She asked.
"I promise." I said and kissed her cheek.
"So what do you think about me and Alex being together then?" I asked.
She smiled.
"Does this mean I have another dad?" She asked.
"I'm sure Alex wouldn't mind if you think he's another dad to you." I said.
"But you like girls though?" She asked confused.
"I like boys and girls." I said.
She looked at me confused.
"I thought boys are only meant to like girls?" She asked.
"Not everyone likes boys and girls. There's some people who likes the same gender as them." I said.
"Like you and Alex?" She asked.
"Yeah. Like me and Alex." I said.
She smiled.
"So do I get the green light from you then?" I chuckled.
" Yeah. I like Alex and Archie." She smiled.
"I'm glad you like him." I said and Alex walked out with Archie and sat next to me and Isla on the sofa.

Alex cuddled into my side.
"Jacky?" Archie asked and jumped on my lap since Isla was playing on the floor.
"What's up buddy?" I asked.
"Ice cream?" He asked.
"Haven't got any I'm afraid, daddy ate it all." I said.
"Daddy!" Archie said and glared at Alex.
"You snooze you loose." Alex chuckled and tickled Archie's side and he squirmed on my lap.
Isla came over and joined in.

We got the kids to bed and me and Alex was making the most of having the sofa and TV to ourselves.
We found a film to watch.
"Glad the kids are okay with us being together." Alex said and messed with my hoodie.
"Think they just need a mother figure." I said.
"Or they just need a stable environment, which is what we can give them." He said and sat up and sat on my stomach.
" What makes you think we can give them that?" I asked.
"Well we both have a fail marriage between us, our children mothers both fucked off and left them with us. What we give them is enough of a stable environment." He said.
I smiled.
" Anyway. What matters is that we are together now and we can both give the kids the love and care which they need." He said and kissed the end of my nose.
"Lie back down. I'm getting cold." I whined and reached my arms out.
Alex chuckled and lead back down in my chest.
"Happy now?" He asked and got comfy.
"Yeah." I said and started to mess with his hair.

About an hour later I felt Alex's breaths even out.
I looked down and Alex was fast asleep.
I smiled and got up and picked Alex up bridle style and went to our room.
I put Alex to bed and went to turn the lights out.
I was about to walk to our room when I heard someone shuffle in the hallway.
"Jacky?" A little voice said.
I turned round and saw Archie with his teddy.
"What's up little man?" I asked quietly.
"I had a bad nightmare. Can I come to bed with you and daddy?" He said.
"Sure you can." I said and walked over to him and picked him up.
Archie rested his head on my shoulder and I walked to mine and Alex's room.
I put Archie in the middle of the bed.
"Babe Archie is our bed." I said quietly and kissed his cheek.
Alex mumbled something and rolled over and pulled Archie to his chest.
I smiled and climbed into bed and got comfy and went to sleep.
