Dancing with the wolves

I was walking to English when someone tripped me up.
"Do you need glasses now freak?" A girl called Jennifer said.
"I dunno made you should get you bug feet out of the way." I said.
"You mocking me now Barakat?" She asked and got into my face.
"Why would I do such a thing?" I asked sarcastically rolling my eyes.
"You need to fucking good slapping." she said.
"You touch me and I'll fucking slap you back harder." I challenged.
"Oh, bit touchy today Barakat. Did daddy's forget to tell you something." She laughed.
"Hey, leave her alone Jennifer." Rowan said.
I knew Jennifer had the biggest crush on him.
"Rowan, I was saying nice things to Finn." She said tripping over her words.
"So I heard. You fucking touch my sister and you'll get it." He said seriously.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked and messed with her hair.
"Meaning I'll fucking deck you if you touch her." He said.
That took her back a bit.
She huffed and walked off.
"Cheers Row." I said quietly.
"It's cool Finn. Don't listen to her, she's jealous cause your gorgeous and she's a ugly troll." He said and I laughed.
"Have fun in English." He said and walked back over to his friends.
I watched him and saw a guy looking at me.
I lookEd down and walked to English.

At the end of the day I found Rowan.
"You coming home or you going to Aids?" He asked.
"I'm going to see Aid." I said quietly.
"Tell her I said hi." He said.
"Your not coming?" I asked.
"Na, I'm grounded remember?" He said.
"Oh yeah I forgot." I said and looked over and saw Pa's car.
"Well will you look at that. I can't be trusted anymore." Rowan said and we walked towards the car.
"Can't even trust me to walk home now pa?" Rowan asked and got in the car.
"No. You getting in or going to Aids?" Pa said.
"I need some girl time." I said.
"Okay, but be home by ten and get Will to drop you off." He said.
"Will do pa. See you later." I said and walked to Aids.

I ot to hers and knocked on the door.
A few seconds later Aidan answered.
"Finn! Christ I haven't seen you for ages." She said and pulled me into a hug.
I returned the hug.
"Finny!" Zig shouted and ran over to me and I picked him up.
"God Zig your getting heavy." I said and walked in the house.
"So what brings you to this loud household." She said.
"Florence don't take that in there." She said and Flo just and looked round.
"Florence out here if your gonna eat that." She said.
"Ziggy eating in there." Flo said.
"Ziggy get your grubby hands put here now!" Aidan said loudly.
"Hang on let's see if my son has covered the walls in chocolate." She said and got up.
"Out here now." She said seriously.
Zig came out covered in chocolate.
She came back out to the kitchen looking pissed off.
"Your in deep trouble when dad gets back." She said and sat on the table.
I looked at her legs since she was wearing shorts.
"Like my new tattoos?" Shje asked.
"There beautiful. Did Will do them?" I asked and looked at her.
"And designed them." She smiled.
"How did you get lucky with him?" I asked.
"I'm a sex machine Finn. He can't get enough." She said and got off the table and made us both a drink.
"Anyway, enough about me. What's up little sis?" She asked and walked to the sitting room and I followed.
She sat on the sofa and I sat next to her.

"Did you get bullied at school?" I asked and looked down.
Aidan looked down and sighed.
"Babe who's being bullying you?" She asked and sat forward.
"People." I whispered.
"What have they been saying?" She asked.
"Calling me a freak because I have two dads. Calling me fake. Take you pick the list is endless." I said.
"Well those people are clearly jealous because you are absolutely beautiful. You hear me. Your beautiful and don't let anyone's nasty comments get you down." She said and pulled me into a hug which I returned.
She pulled back and tucked a bit of hair behind my ear.
The front door opened and shut.
"Daddy!" Zig said loudly.
"Hey buddy." Will said and walked in the sitting room.
"Hey Finn." Will said and he walked over to Aidan and kissed her cheek.
"Yeah, Will can you take the kids out? Me and Finn are having a serious chat." She said.
"Can't I just fucking sit down first?" He asked.
Aidan turned round and glared at him.
"Don't come upstairs." She said and caught hold of my hand and dragged me upstairs.

We got to her and Wills room.
"Want me to do something nice with your hair?" She asked.
I nodded.
She sat behind me and started to brush my hair.
"You've self harmed. What's its like?" I said.
Aidan stopped.
"I wouldn't wish it on anyone." She said quietly.
I turned round and looked at her.
"Sweetie please tell me you haven't." She said and looked at me.
I looked down.
"Where?" She asked.
"My legs." I whispered.
Aidan pulled me into a bone crushing hug.
"You have to tell dad." She said and I pulled back and looked at her.
"I can't. He would be disappointed in me." I said.
"Dad has been though this. Where do you think the scars on his arms come from? And it's the same with me and Seth." She said.
"I don't want to hurt him." I whispered.
"You won't. I thought that when I hurt myself and got pregnant at 15. He will help you and support you in very way he can." She said.
I looked at her.
"How do I talk to him?" I asked.
"Just say you need to talk with him. He'll listen. He's the best listener I have ever talked to. He will understand as well. Dad will always understand." She said.
I nodded.
"Now enough about this. We are going to make you look more beautiful." She said.
I smiled and nodded.

Aidan was putting Zig and Flo to bed which left me and Will downstairs.
"You want me to take you home?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Please." I said.
"I'll do that, when's curfew?" He asked.
"10." I said quietly.
"You alright? Normally I can't stop you talking." He said sounding worried.
"Just having a shit time at school." I said.
"Send mother hen here on the case. She'll sort the bastards out." He said and looked over the sofa and looked at Aidan.
"Then get done for assult? I would like a clean record thanks." She said and sat next to Will.
"I'll leave it for Row. He seems pretty good with his fists." I said.
"Christ we have another Seth on our hands." Will chuckled.
"Speaking of him have you heard from either of the gay boys?" I asked.
"Nope. Think Seth is pretty tied down at work right now. Riley is probably just busy." Aidan said.
"I was just wondering as it isn't like them not to talk to anyone." I said.
"I'm sure their fine." Will said.
I knew Aidan was think the same as me.
"I'll text them." She said and gotnup and got her phone.
"Really they both could be at it." Will said.
"Or they could be dead. You don't know our brothers." Aidan said.
"Christ love it your time of the month or something?" Will asked.
"You should know." She said.

By the time Seth and Riley got back to Aidan it was time for me to go home.
When I got home the place was silent which wasn't like Rowan or dad and Pa.
I grabbed the bat by the door and walked round the house.
"Rowan?" I asked and went upstairs.
"Dad?" I said and looked round.
I went to Rowans room and opened the door.
Rowan jumped and looked at me.
"Fucking hell Finn!" Rowan said.
"I thought you was dead!" I said and sniffed.
"Finn is everything okay?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"Come here stupid." He said and I walked over and sat on his bed and he pulled me to his side.
"Want to spend the night with me?" He asked and I nodded.
Sound disgusting I know but I didn't feel safe to go to my room. It was something we all did no matter what really and since everyone moved out me and Row got closer.
"Get under here before you let all the heat out of the bed." He said and I climb in.
"Go to sleep." He sighed and was out like a light.
It took me a while before I was sound asleep
