Dancing with the wolves

By the time Seth showed up Aidan was asleep.
"Hey Pa." He said quietly.
"Hey Seth." I said and stood up since my back started to hurt from sitting down for so long.
"How's she doing?" He asked and nodded towards Aidan.
"Coping. But not very well." I said.
"Understandable, think I would be the same if anything like this happened to Tyler." He said and looked at Will.
I smiled.
"I'm going to go home. You'll be okay?" I said.
"Yeah I'm just gonna annoy Tyler all night." He said and sat in the chair.
I chuckled.
"See you later. No trouble and take your meds." I said.
"Have done and I won't." He said.
"See ya. Tell Aid dad will probably be round tommorow." I said.
"Will do now bugger off." Seth chuckled and I went home.

Everyone was still up when I got home.
"Pop!" Zig said loudly and ran towards me and I picked him up.
"What you still doing up? It's late." I said.
"Grumpy said me and Flo could stay up late." He said.
"Oi you, I said when pop comes home you and Flo will be going to bed." Alex said seriously and walked over carrying Flo who was fighting sleep.
"Where's mummy?" Flo asked.
"Mummy is with daddy." Alex said.
"At home?" Zig asked.
"No, somewhere else. I'll talk to mummy tommorow and she what she has to say." I said.
"Why do you need to ask mummy?" He yawned.
"Why do you ask so many questions. Come on me and grumpy will put you and Flo to bed." I said.
Zog restwds his head on my shoulder and nodded
Me and Alex put them to bed and went to our room leaving Rowan and Finn playing their game before the TV cut out and they both went to bed.

"How is Will?" Alex asked as he pulled his top of and threw it on the floor and went to the bathroom and started to run the bath.
"At the moment he's in a bad way but hopefully he'll be okay. For Aidan's and the kids sake." I said and followed him.
"Hopefully Aid will let the kids seen Will tommorow." Alex said quietly.
"She has her scan tommorow." I said.
Alex looked at me as he took his trousers off.
"I forgot about that." He said quietly.
"So did I until Aid said she had a scan and saying how excited Will was." I said taking my clothes off.
Alex looked at me.
"What makes you think your joining me?" He asked and turned the water off.
"Because I know you love it when I join." I said.
Alex just smiled and got in the bath.
I did the same.

Alex was cuddled in my side tracing his fingers down my ribs.
"It felt like you was in the hospital all over again." I said quietly.
"I don't want to think about that." Alex said.
"I know you don't, but I'm sure Aidan feels like it's you in hospital." I said.
Alex sighed.
"I'll go see her in the morning." He said quietly and rolled over so his back was to me.
I did the same and cuddled into his back and kissed his shoulder.
"Love you Lex." I said quietly.
"Love you too Jacky." He whispered.
I felt his breaths even out and he was softly snoring.
I smiled and got comfy and slowly fell asleep.
