Dancing with the wolves

Work was shit so I was hoping Kit was home so I could just cuddle ands watch shit on TV.
I unlocked the door and walked in.
"Kit?" I said and kicked my shoes off.
"Ri? Is that you?" Kit said and walked out the bedroom.
"Who else is it going to be?" I asked.
"I was just making sure. Better to be safe than sorry." He said and walked over to me and kissed me.
"How was work?" He asked.
"Shit. I just might quit and find somewhere else because I fucking hate it there." I said.
"Knock yourself out on that then." He chuckled.
"Going to." I muttered and walked in the kitchen.
"Something smells good." I said and looked at Kit.
He smiled and looked down.
"Thought I would cook us something nice tonight." He said and walked towards me and pulled me close to him.
"You planning something?" I asked.
"Nope, just want to do something nice for you." He said and kissed me.
"You have exactly an hour to chill and do what you want." He said and slapped my ass.
I smiled and blushed a little.
"Get out my kitchen." He said and turned me round and pushed me out the kitchen.
"But I want to help." I said.
"Nope. My treat now bog off and let me cook!" He said.
"Fine. I'm gone but can I at least go to the bedroom?" I asked.
"Yes I'll let you go in the bedroom." He said.I smiled and walked off taking my clothes off as I went.

"Babe?" Kit said and walked into the bed room.
I was having a nap after I had a shower.
"Baby wake up." He said quietly.
"I was having a good dream." I muttered.
"I know, but after we've eaten and that we can just chill in front of the TV and watch shit movies." He said.
I nodded and woke up and looked at him.
He had his aftershave I got him which was ridiculously expensive.
He even changed his clothes and I quite liked what he was wearing.
"Why you all dressed up?" I yawned and sat up.
"Because I am now up, otherwise food will get cold." He said.
"But I'm tired." I mumbled.
"Think you'll love me because I cooked your favorite." He smiled.
I looked at him.
"Your joking?" I asked.
He smiled and shook his head.
"Nope, now get up!" He said and slapped my arm.
"Yes dad I'm coming." I chuckled.
"Good." He smiled and walked out the room.

I got dressed and went to the kitchen.
"Mm something smells good." I said and walked over and hugged him from behind.
"I'm glad, now sit down I'll bring it over." He said.
"Kit, you know I feel super awkward about these sort of things." I said.
He turned round and looked at me.
"It's just us. You'll be fine. I wouldn't do this if we was with people." He said and kissed me.
I nodded and sat down.
"There you go." He said and put the food in front of me and then sat opposite me.
"Looks delicious." I said and looked at him.
He smiled.
"Don't judge before you eat, for all you know I could give you food poisoning." He chuckled.
"We've eaten your food before and not dead yet." I said.
Kit laughed.
"Can say there same to you." He said.
"Hey, my cupcakes are just the best." I said.
"You need to make more of them sometime soon." He said.
"I'll see what I can do." I smiled.

We had finished I helped clean up and we was sat on the sofa watching shit films and cuddling.
"Sit up Ri." He said and tapped my chest so I did.
"Face me." He said so I did.
"Ri, I know we've been together for a long time..." He started.
"You breaking up with me?" I asked and looked down.
"No! Babe I never want to break up with you." He said and I looked at him.
"Then what.." I started but Kit stopped me.
"Let me finish." He said quietly.
"You have literally been here for me through everything. Sounds stupid but everyday I find something new to fall in love with. I want you to be mine for the rest of our days." He said.
I looked at him confused.
"What you trying to say?" I asked.
"Ri, will you marry me?" He asked.
I looked at him with a blank look on my face.
"Riley?" He said.
I blinked and smiled.
"You finally got the balls to ask." I chuxkled.
He nodded.
"So... Yay or nay?" He asked.
I pretty much jumped on him and kissed him hard.
"That a yay?" He chuckled.
"Duh! Of course it's a yeah you twat." I said and kissed him again.
"Put me down." He laughed.
I moved and Kit got the ring and put it on my finger.
I looked at it and smiled.
"Do you like it?" He asked.
I looked at him and smiled.
"I love it. Pinch me please." I said and Kit pinched me hard.
"Ow!" I said and rubbed my arm.
"So this isn't a dream? I'm not gonna wake up and not fimd this on my finger?" I asked.
"Your not dreaming Ri." He smiled.
I smiled wide and kissed him again.
"can't believe it." I said quietly.
"You make me the happiest person alive Riley." He said and kissed me.
"So do you." I said quietly.


I was meeting Seth at a coffee shop since he had to take time of work because his head was all over the place and his work seemed to be really nice and understanding.
"So, what's new little brother?" He asked and messed with his drink.
"Not much. Part from one thing." I said and Seth looked at me.
He frowned and looked at my hands.
"That what i think it is?" He asked and pointed to my ring.
I smiled and nodded.
"Oh my God!" He said loudly and a few people looked at us.
"Shush Seth." I chuxkled.
"He finally grew a pair and asked you." He said.
I nodded?
"Let me look." He said and grabbed my hand and yanked it towards him.
"Ow, Seth my hand is attached to me." I said.
"He did well Ri. He's definitely making up for something. His performance dropped or anything?" He asked.
I laughed.
"No. Nothing has changed, part from things are now a lot hotter than before." I smirked.
"Christ. You gonna tell dad and Pa and that?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Any idea when?" He asked.
"I got asked last night, I'm still smiling okay nothing is sinking in." I said.
Seth smiled.
"I'm glad your happy Ri." He said.
"Thanks Seth. What about you and Ty? You okay?" I said.
"We're good. He's coping well considering I'm a fucking wreck right now." New said and looked down.
"You are a lot better than what you was 2 months ago Seth. Just keep on doing what your doing now." I said.
"I dunno Ri, I just feel lost right now." He said.
"I understand Seth. But speak to Tyler." I said.
He smiled and nodded.
"Good." I smiled.

I got home and Kit wasn't home.
I looked on the table and saw some flowers and a note.
'Been forced into over time. I'll be back before 8.'
"Aw poor kit." I muttered to myself and took my clothes off and was walking rpound in my pants until he got home.
