This Ride Is A Wild One

It had been 8 hours since Jack had left for the address given, and Amy was seriously panicking. “Something bad has happened, I can just tell. It wouldn’t take this long!” Amy paced around the temporary apartment as Alex sat on the couch, head in his hands. His head jolted up as there was a knock at the door. Amy flew towards it, quickly throwing it open revealing a police officer and Holly by his side “Oh Holly thank goodness you’re okay!” she threw her arms around her younger cousin. “Where’s Jack?!” “He’s back at the station for questioning. However, something isn’t right” “What do you mean?” Alex came from behind her. “Well we only found one male at the scene and took him into custody. He refuses to speak though, however your boyfriend…” “Please just tell me!” “Well, he’s not the same. He’s sort of dazed and confused. We don’t know what’s happened to him, he himself can’t remember, and we’re not getting a word out of the other guy” “W-what’s wrong with him?” “We’re unsure, you can come visit him as soon as you’re ready. Good day” he smiled, then walked off back towards his car. “Alex, can you look after her while I go get Jack?” “Yeah of course” “Are you okay staying here with him Holly?” she bent down in front of the teen. “Is it alright if I just sleep?” “Of course sweetie, you go rest” she smiled then kissed her forehead.

“I’m here for Jack Barakat, i’m his girlfriend” she said to the lady behind the desk. “Of course, if you’d just like to take a seat, I’ll inform the officers and we’ll have him right out for you” she smiled.
After what seemed liked forever, Amy finally saw Jack emerge from one of the many rooms. “Oh god Jack you’re okay! I never thought I’d see you again” she threw her arms around his waist, burying her head into his chest. She pulled back, smiling from ear to ear, however frowned when she looked up at Jack’s uneasy smile. “What’s wrong?” she questioned him. “I don’t mean to offend you…” he scratched the back of his head “But do I know you?”
