Jack

I want to wake up like that every morning, with Alex fast asleep on top of me, listening to his light snoring. Even though he drooled a little, there was nobody else I would rather sleep next to. Seeing him with messy bed head, and hearing his hoarse sleepy voice when I first open my eyes each day, I could spend the rest of my life doing that.
Even though I still haven’t successfully had him stay the night, I planned to soon. But first, I had to make it official that he is mine, and nobody else's.

I pinned Alex against his locker, he flinched with surprise at first, but when he realized it was me he quickly calmed down.

“Hi handsome,” I greeted, looking down at my in the words of Beyonce, ‘Flawless’ boyfriend. Well, he isn’t my boyfriend YET. I was just gonna ask him today, but knowing Alex, he would want some flowers or chocolate or something to go along with it, so I came up with something even better.

“I’m taking you on a date.” I announced.

“Seriously?” he asked, looking very surprised.

“Well yeah,” I answered. I know he thinks we would be a terrible couple, but I wanted to show him how great of a boyfriend I can be. I don’t have any experience being an actual boyfriend, but it’s not like he has either.

“Really? You take people on dates?”

“I take YOU on dates. You’re special to me, and I’m going to prove it just like I said. Friday night, I will pick you up at 7.” I told him.

“Oooooh, I’m busy then” he said jokingly.

“Nooo!” I whined, and pressed my forehead to his, staring into his dark chocolate brown eyes.

“Of course I will go on a date with you, Jack” he breathed, I smiled. Before I could respond he said “I dunno what I will tell my parents.”
Ugh, his parents have to ruin everything.

“Well, why don’t you say that Jack Barakat thinks their son is very hot, and wants to spend every second with Alex Gaskarth.” I said sarcasically, even though I meant it.

“Um, I would probably get kicked out of the house.”

“You can stay with me, Lex” I offered, and kissed his cheek. His face turned bright red, and he looked down at the ground smiling. So adorable.

“But really, I am going to take you out somewhere nice, you deserve it. I want to get to know you better, I want to know everything about you.” I expressed my emotions.

“So do I, Jacky.” He grabbed my fingers that were around his waist, and held them in one of his hands. I stared at Alex, as he was looking down, intertwining our digits together, lost in thought. He is gorgeous, inside and out, how did I get so lucky to find him? Friday is going to be perfect, it’s going to be so romantic, and corny just the way he likes it, he will love it. Hopefully, he will love me too.

“AHEM” I heard the obnoxious voice of Tay a few feet from us. I looked over, and she was motioning for me to come here. Alex sighed, I could tell he didn’t want me to leave, even though we weren’t even talking. I guess my presence is just as comforting for him, as his is for me.

“JACK!” Tay called, not getting the hint from me ignoring her.

“WHAT DO YOU WANT?” I shouted, glaring at her.

“Come here!!!” she demanded, it seemed pretty urgent. This better be good, me and Alex didn’t have many classes together, because he takes the most advanced possible, and I take the bare minimum. I groaned, looked at Alex who had his lip puckered in a pout, and kissed his temple, leaving him a blushy mess as I left to talk to Tay.

“You corrupted him, already? Jack, I thought you were gonna take your time!” she said angerly.

“I AM taking my time.” I told her.

“Uh, you just kissed him,”

“Not on the lips, I see no point in this conversation, can I go back to my smoking hot boyfriend?” I asked, very annoyed. He was just leaning against his locker, talking to Brendon.

“I just don’t want you to ruin another person, he’s british, what if he tells his british friends that Jack Barakat is a whore, and you will never sleep with another british person again?” Tay rambled. Why is she even talking to me?

“No Tay, this one’s different.”

“Sure, he seems like a really sweet boy, don’t fuck it up with him.”

“I’m taking him on a date Friday.” I told her, and Cass popped out of nowhere instantly.

“HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ON A DATE, JACK?” she questioned.

“YES!”

“I thought you just slept with people.” Tay said.

“Ugh, like I told you, not anymore! This is going to be the first date I’ve been on in a while, people always asked me on dates before, but it just wasn’t my thing before I met Alex.”

“That’s adorable.” Hayley gushed, adding to the girls surrounding me.

“You mean it’s Alex’s thing? I still can’t picture you on a real date.” Tay said. Why is she criticizing my relationship with him, can't she just believe me when I say now much I like him?

“I don’t care, if he’s the type that likes to go on dates, then I’m taking him on them. I really really like him, I want him to like me too.”

“AWW,” Hayley and Cass exclaimed.

“I still called him first,” Tay added, always having to be difficult.

“Try to take him from me, just try.” I taunted her, she gave me a death stare.

“He’s gay isn’t he?” she asked, I just smirked and left to my next class, letting her figure out the answer on her own.

“IS HE?” she yelled after me.

“YUP” I called, popping the ‘p.’

“DAMMIT”
